Had a lovely few days stay. Was a very tranquil location and very relaxing. Stopping by to see the animals on site was a wonderful experience. The kitchen was equiped with enough pans to make meals while we stayed there. The shop was a wonderful touch to pick up produce from the farm or just a few ammenities that might be needed. So relaxing to sit in the hot tub in the evening after exploring local attractions which have very helpfully been highlighted in a small guide. Looking to return in summer to make full use of the bbq on site and firepit.

It was a lovely stay. Very warm and welcoming. We wished we had stayed for longer. The area was beautiful and a great place to be in the countryside

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

Absolutely amazing, peaceful & tranquil hut. It has everything you need, including tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and everything pan and you utensils you can think of. The compostable toilet is amazing, I was worried it would smell, but it doesn’t smell at all, the shower was really powerful and really hot water! The mattress was so comfy and the duvet was even comfier. The views, the birds, the river, everything makes this stay perfect. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back 🐾♥️ Thank you for having us!

Lovely and. Cosy, clean and peaceful. We had a lovely time . Running late on arrival and host going out at 6:15pm, so this did panic me as I was afraid we would have to sleep in the car all night. Only airbnb I’ve gone to that doesn’t allow a lock box or anytime check in. That aside had a lovely time and the bacon and sausages were a real treat . Thank you

We had the most wonderful stay here. When we arrived the hosts were so welcoming, offering their wealth of local knowledge and showing us around. They always ensured the hot tub was warm and ready for us when we wanted it and an extra bonus was the complimentary wine, home sourced eggs and milk as well on arrival :)

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

Super cosy space that we wished we could have stayed longer in. Your have your own space outside and is very quiet. Located on the edge of a small holding, it’s a fab spot to stay The hosts are really friendly and helpful

Lovely little getaway. The host had the hot tub ready for us when we arrived which was really appreciated. Great value stay, beautiful location, very peaceful. We enjoyed watching the lambs playing in the field in the morning whilst having a cup of tea in the hot tub!

Perfect spot for a weekend away - I already want to book another weekend here! Such a gorgeous location and such a cosy hut, I had the best nights sleep. Margaret was amazing and went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend

Beth was a brilliant host. My partner and I needed somewhere quiet to just unwind and this place was perfect. Sitting in the hot tub, drinking the views and the beauty of the area was just what we needed. The bird song just topped it of perfectly. Beth was great at communicating and has made her Shepherd's hut perfect, everything we needed was there.

Amazing hut in a lovely location! Jane was a fantastic host who gave us great recommendations. There is a lovely walk through the nature reserve on the doorstep and great food at the local pub. The hut was very cosy and had everything you need. Would definitely come back!

Brilliant from start to finish, well worth a visit. We were made to feel at home and loved meeting new animals everyday. This place has a way of making you feel so relaxed, we will definitely be revisiting. We were made me feel at home and very welcome. Thanks again 🙂

Amazing from start to finish Very lucky that the weather was on our side! Just as described. Beautiful place with stunning views and plenty of walks near by. Easy to find as the postcode takes you straight to the location. Amazing place if you have dogs as the outside space is secluded. Even though it’s a working farm, you feel like you have the entire place to yourself Will 100% return

We cannot recommend this stay enough. The hut itself was cosy, warm and a lovely space. It had a little wood burner that kept us toasty and warm, a kitted out kitchen and a great bathroom too. There is great attention to detail with Sue providing some milk for us in the fridge. Sue herself is absolutely wonderful, so responsive and informative and we cannot express our gratitude enough of being saved from a muddy embankment we were stuck in further along the road. Overall, such a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautiful part of the country with a fantastic host.

My partner and I stayed at Penny’s place for a long weekend and we couldn’t have asked for anywhere more perfect. The location is so peaceful and really allows you to re-centre. The Shepherd’s hut and the barns are so cosy and have everything you could possibly need for a more “off the grid” feel. We loved spending evenings in the barn - playing darts before the sunset and bird spotting with the binoculars Penny provides, then later sitting in candlelight and taking in the night sky. Make sure to listen out for the Tawny Owl who is very vocal! Penny is so friendly and is more than willing to give you walk recommendations or anything else you might need help with. She’s also left us some of the nicest carrot cake we both ever had. Thank you, Penny. We will definitely be returning!

The shepherd's hut was so pretty and beautifully decorated. The welcome sign as we pulled up was lovely and personal. The complimentary welcome package was a lovely touch. We would definitely book the accommodation again!

Stayed for a couple of days on a break to getaway and the location was perfect. It was so quiet and secluded, and the hot tub was a lovely addition after a day's walking in Snowdonia. Can't recommend enough, we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay and even stayed an additional night as we enjoyed it so much. The attention to detail in the huts were fabulous. The shower was lovely. So much detail in the welcome book. Really well equipped kitchen to cook over wood fire. Such a comfortable bed and the field and Pip the pig were wonderful. Our dog had a ball exploring the field! Thanks for a wonderful stay. Helen

I’ve always fancied staying in a Shepherd’s Hut, so when this one came up while searching for somewhere to stay near Ludlow, I couldn’t resist booking it. I wasn’t disappointed, it was cozy inside and the location of the hut was great with plenty of privacy and walks for the dog. We were really fortunate to see the deer grazing in the field in front of the hut, which was a real pleasure. The online description about the hut is good, with all the basic equipment available to be able to prepare a meal if required. We did take the time to read the online reviews so was prepared for the tiny fridge, by bringing our camping fridge along as back up. The hut was clean and tidy on arrival, but there were a few large cobwebs that could have been cleared beforehand and the window handle by the bed was broken so to reduce the cold draft, we wedged some cardboard to hold the window frame in place - which worked a treat.

Lovely little hidden gem, very peaceful and quiet. The hut was spotless and cosy and Kate was welcoming and just over the way to offer any help if needed, definitely the break we needed Thankyou!
