We had the most wonderful stay at Toodles Cottage over Christmas! The location in Cromford is perfect—so close to Matlock Bath and surrounded by beautiful walks that we thoroughly enjoyed exploring. Anya went above and beyond to make our Christmas special, with thoughtful extra touches and lovely Christmas decorations that made the cottage feel magical. It’s clear that this is a much-loved home, and we felt so lucky to have stayed there. We truly hope to return someday—thank you, Anya, for a fantastic experience.

Perfect for a family gathering of 10. The house was cosy and spacious. Our favorite space was the kitchen, well equipped and large enough for all of us to sit and eat and drink together. Everything about our stay was great, the beds were comfy, enough bathrooms, downstairs toilet, plenty of tvs, a dishwasher, I could go on. We will definitely re-book for family events!

Just wow. Such a beautiful cottage in the perfect location to explore the peaks. Katie’s recommendations in the welcome book are fantastic. The cottage felt like a home away from home and the village is so quiet and peaceful. Sitting in front of the fire playing chess after a day of exploring was a particular favourite of mine. We even saw the ISS from the secret garden! Katie is super helpful and on hand if you need anything. The most perfect getaway! 🫶🏼

The cottage is in a beautiful location, with lovely views. You can get onto footpaths and bridleways directly from the door, with no driving. Cosy, warm cottage with everything we needed. Very close to drive to Bakewell, supermarkets, pubs, Haddon Hall, Chatsworth. Perfect, relaxing

Great place for what we needed, easy commute to the NEC where we were exhibiting. House just as the photos, cosy, comfy beds and quiet. Thank you.

Great place in a lovely location, Beautifully clean and tidy. Exactly what we required and if we are ever back in the area would definitely try and stay again.

This was my favourite Airbnb so far it was absolutely beautiful, the barn has everything you need and the beds are super comfy with quality mattresses, duvets and pillows! Plenty of space for 6. Enclosed garden for dogs. We loved Richard's pet pigs who came to see us when they were let out ❤️ Thankyou so much we had a brilliant time x

The accommodation was booked for a colleague travelling from China and working in the UK for 3 weeks. We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.

Great place amazing location beautiful penthouse. Everything we needed was provided top luxury place which is aesthetic and comfortable. Niall was fast to respond and a great host. There’s a reason why this property is always fully booked.

A gorgeous stay with lots of added little extras which were lovely. Clean accommodation and the outdoor area was perfect.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Despite having some car troubles on the way there, it was a 10/10 experience all round! Sarah was accommodating and friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for walks and places to visit. The area was beautiful and only a short walk from the village centre. What an amazing place!! 😍 We stayed here for a long weekend and didn’t feel the need to leave as it was so beautiful and peaceful. 🌳🍃The decoration inside was so unique and cosy, and the outside space was huge and so pretty!! Would 100% recommend, thank you ❤️

Very private and peaceful stay. Hot tub was ready and waiting for us and was excellent. Only downside was that the bathroom isn’t connected to the bedroom, so you have to go outside each time. Plus the kitchen was also missing some essentials like a tea towel and kitchen paper.

My daughter and I had a 1 night stop over and needed somewhere that was near to Tamworth but also where we could decompress on the evening and recoup for the next day. The location was perfect and although only a short-stay it was exactly what we needed to recharge. Watching the sunset surrounded by lovely nature and then a comfortable rest was great. The working smallholding with livestock was a pure joy. Thank-you for smoothing out a challenging few days and the respite it provide.
