Great hosts!! Really friendly, responsive and caring! I booked this for family visiting Nottingham for the first time and I’m glad we did! My family felt right at home and were delighted with their stay! They were very comfortable staying in this private annex and really liked the homely touches and warm welcome they received from the hosts. They said they would love to stay here again :)

I had a wonderful stay and the fox's den is a gorgeous place. Everything was wonderfully laid out and there was so many small little touches that were just so cute and amazing. Definitely want to come back and stay for a longer period next time!

David is great host - friendly and welcoming. He was very flexible and accommodating with my long stay booking. And very responsive when I needed help with fixing a problem. Many thanks, David.

Vik and Aid's yurt is a real find - in a tranquil yet easily accessible part of a major city. A short stroll to the Hare and Hounds pub, which is a major music venue and also a warm, welcoming and friendly social hub. It's also not far from the MAC at Cannon Hill Park, for all its events and exhibitions. The yurt itself is everything it claims to be, lovingly hand made, comfy bed and sofa, and can be as warm as you like with the wood stove and backup. Close to the house, yet completely private and peaceful. Vik and Aid are interesting and lovely people, and great hosts, highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. There was nothing I could suggest to make it better. Really friendly couple and so easy to deal with. Pete and Sue's dog was very friendly. The area is beautiful and great walks so close by amd nice pubs on the river to enjoy food and a relaxing drink. Thanks a million to Pete and Sue.

Fabulous 3 night stay as a family of 6. Cottage is bigger than it appears in the photos, plenty of room for all of us. Really well equipped, great shower, wonderful location, lots of charm. Children loved the cats that came to visit and looking out on the horses. Dermot and Anne were lovely hosts, really friendly and gave us useful local information along with breakfast items, tea coffee etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again. An absolute gem. Thank you

Adrian was such a friendly and approachable host. Was extremely helpful in ensuring I had breakfast outside of the breakfast time. As a lone guest he really made me feel at ease. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location attending a workshop at Guthrie and Ghani 10 minutes walk past Marks and Spencer’s Food store. Lovely place, great hosts very responsive to messages. Peaceful and quiet with lovely view of garden.

We had a lovely stay at swift retreat. Each room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Alicia was a brilliant host who responded to queries within 5 minutes. We would definitely recommend to future guests.

Joanne and Gerry are superb hosts, they go over and above to make sure your stay is of the highest quality. They made such an effort for our toddler showing her their animals and interacting with her. They were very flexible to accommodate us. The annex is really comfortable and well equipped. I can't recommend them enough. Treat yourselves to a stay here, it's wonderful!!

Would give this place 6 stars if I could, might be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at, the Airbnb was beautiful and we felt right at home. I highly recommend this to anyone and I will definitely be returning as I couldn’t get enough of the place. Elizabeth was a responsive and friendly host who was extremely helpful and kind. You can tell that Elizabeth takes great pride in her Airbnb and it is reflected in the exceptional standard of the place. I couldn’t speak more highly of the host and the Airbnb if I tried.

It was a lovely cottage, perfect for us. We had two little ones with us too so the travel cot, high chair and toys were amazing. Made it easier for us! Super responsive too and everything was just as described. We even got some little treats on arrival, which was a nice touch and very appreciated. Great stay. Thank you so much for having us :)

What can I say. Perfect place - beautiful and peaceful surroundings, but within easy reach of places to visit, such as Matlock, Bakewell, Chatsworth House and Peak Village, all just a few minutes drive away. Some lovely local walks too, right on the doorstep. The cottage itself was lovely. Particularly the bedroom opening out via the French doors onto a lovely private patio - great to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We were affected by a personal health emergency whilst there, and Claire re-acted with offer of help over and beyond, and it was so much appreciated. A lovely person. Looking forward to returning here again when we next visit the area.

Absolutely STUNNING! Honestly, one of the best places we have ever stayed. We were looking forward to our trip as it looks stunning on the photos but its even better in person!! What a location... just perfection! Cannot fault it at all. We travelled to Nottingham for a birthday celebration (child free!) and to explore whats changed in the city since I went to uni. The accommodation was the perfect place for this and we would 100% recommend to anyone.

Fabulous stay, the Barn was spotless and beautifully furnished to a high spec. Large and spacious but also warm and cosy. Really great touches throughout, Andrew has thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and luxurious. The most gorgeous spot surrounded by snowdrops and nature. We visited Bradgate park in the sunshine which was perfect and only a short drive away. Really great we were able to charge our car too and the hot tub was brilliant. We were super grateful for the thoughtful treats that Andrew left to help us celebrate our 40th birthdays as well as the handy welcome package of essentials. The coffee machine with pods was a massive bonus. We enjoyed using the duck food that was provided too! Andrew was really welcoming and on hand if we had any issues. Thanks again Andrew, we’d love to come back

The place was great, cosy and modern. Kept to a really clean standard with all amenities one could need. Kerry was very good with communication and always helpful. Definitely would recommend!

It certainly was a beautiful place, with great views and very tranquil. James' partner came to welcome me and ensured that I had everything I needed. And, of course, Parker (the dog) who came to say hello. I did not see much of James and his partner during my extended stay as they gave me my own space, but when I did see them they were very friendly and happy to chat. I could not have found a better place to stay, I highly recommend it.

Marsha is so so lovely, she and her daughter go above and beyond for their guests, beautiful people, even Molly the dog is gorgeous. Great space, very clean and tidy, great communication and just lovely place to be! Will be rebooking every year! Thank you Marsha and Amber ❤️

Beautiful holiday cottage tucked away beside the main house but completely separate. The place is beautifully kept and furnished. Lots of space for two people. The bed is so comfortable and lovely fast shower. My favourite thing was a gorgeous warm sun room on the back of the cottage with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. It felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket in there, it was so relaxing and peaceful. Just a short walk to Wirksworth centre and an even easier walk to the nearest Coop if, like me, you are planning to lock yourself away to work. Really lovely place and I wouldn't hesitate to return. Hosts were easily contactable but I didn't see them at all during my stay - they left me to enjoy my break - but they had left me a few nice treats on arrival and answered quickly to messages prior to my stay. Lovely. Thank you!

We had the most relaxing and beautiful stay at the courtyard cottage this weekend! Karen’s place is utterly amazing, so peaceful and relaxing on the farm, just what we needed for my boyfriend’s birthday trip! The little extra touches were incredible, stuff for a lovely breakfast in the fridge. Tea,coffee,milk,orange juice. Also robes, slippers, lavender bath soak and bath salts for the Japanese Whirlpool. (Which was a big highlight for us!) The whirlpool was immaculate and fills up quickly. Everything was a dream! Thankyou! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Had a really lovely stay here, the hosts were always very responsive and the location was great for us. Highly recommend!
