This is in a great location right in the middle of of the old part of Whitby next to the Captain Cook museum with views of the harbour. We loved it. The flat is spacious and warm and comfortable. It was particularly lovely to have biscuits and milk on our arrival and supplies of dishwasher tablets, laundry liquid and toilet paper.

Ideal beachfront location on the North Bay, seconds walk away from Peasholm Park and Scarborough Outdoor Theatre and you practically step out onto the beach. 15 minute walk to the town centre, maybe 30 mins to stroll around the headland to South Bay and the harbour. Well appointed and comfortable, secure private parking, a great base for a few days on the N. Yorks coast.

This was our third at Sally’s place and we continue to enjoy it! Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a weekend away, perfect for small children and young families. We will be back again, I am sure!

We had a lovely family break. the apartment is a home from home and the location is perfect. The swimming pool and jacuzzi/ sauna were a great addition and all the staff were really friendly and helpful.

fantastic apartment in a great location not too bad pub within 2 minute walk also beach not too far away either you can walk to Filey v beach in about 50 minutes or Hunmandy gap in around 25 minutes Excellent clean apartment with a tv in living room and an additional one in bedroom easy check in great kitchen and facilities would highly recommend

This apartment was a great place to stay. Andrew’s instructions on how to get toThe Bay and how to check in on arrival we’re very clear. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed - we appreciated the tea, coffee, milk and shortbread biscuits. The Bay is quiet at this time of year, so no issues with finding a parking space. We took full advantage of the private access to the beach - but beware, the path is very steep! However it’s worth it, as the views from the bay are exceptional. The location is also great for visiting Bridlington, Scarborough and Whitby. This was our first experience of Airbnb and it was great. We can certainly recommend this lovely apartment and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks Andrew.

we had a brilliant stay at Pete's apartment on the cliff tops in Scarborough. it was a large 1st floor place with large lounge good sized bedroom and a kitchen with all the facilities you would need. also a small outside area with chairs which I would imagine could be a suntrap in the summer. And a wetroom. It was approx 5 min walk from the castle and maybe 10 mins into the centre of town. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Pete answered the few questions we asked promptly We woukd definitely use again

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

I can’t recommend this stay enough we had all the check in information and features before our arrival making it seamless. The cottage was beautiful, so many little touches that just made for a great stay from the minute we arrived. We will definitely be back x

wonderful cottage in lovely location. local pub a couple of doors up and fish and chip shop close. beautiful decor and loved the sea theme. would highly recommend bus service into whitby was great.

We had a great stay. The house was immaculate with every amenity you could think of. We were lucky with the weather so didn’t use all the books and games that are available. The decor is beautiful and the house very well thought out to make our stay easy with clear instructions for everything and lots of recommendations for local restaurants. This is definitely one of the best we’ve stayed at and will definitely be back. Oh and a lovely welcome pack. Thank you.

Exceptional victorian town house, very clean and fully equipped. Sarah was very responsive throughout and helpful.

This place is one of the best we have stayed in So homely, clean and excellent quality in all furnishings. You are truly spoilt. The surroundings are beautiful very private, the most quiet place we have ever stayed. A 15 minute walk and you come across the most beautiful beach. Short drives from the accommodation you come across the most beautiful little historic villages and again beautiful beach’s. In the village itself there are places to go have a meal and a drink, people are lovely. Jamie your host is so attentive, will give you all instructions on what you need to know about his place. Also all full instructions on all places to visit , Jamie is there any time if you have a problem excellent host and service. Would highly recommend his gem of a place it was such a lovely break to have and those villages and beaches the history of them made it all just special .

We had a lovely stay at the property, my family loved the Lobster Pot, Andree was very welcoming and sent an email entailing everything we could possibly need for our stay, Andree left wine and cakes for our arrival and my son absolutely loved all the board games to chose from, there was ligerally everything you could think of at the property, we even bought new batteries for the tv remote and later found that Andree had them covered in the kitchen draw, the cottage is lovely and a credit to Andree, thank you for a lovely stay and would love to return soon.

my stay at the Hideaway was absolutely brilliant! really easy to use the lock box. the apartment was so lovely and cosy, really clean too. Great communication with Jennifer all the time, she was really helpful if i had any questions. Great location for all amenities in Scarborough. Parking was straightforward using a permit. I would stay there again and highly recommend it to others

We loved our time in Whitby! Amanda’s place is cozy & clean and she was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants & activities - she’s the perfect host. The gorgeous sunrise over the North Sea is visible from the cottage. I’ll definitely be back! If you come, you have to visit the Whitby Abbey, less than a mile away and the views are spectacular.

A beautiful apartment, the location is great, with the sea at the end of the street. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Nice big telly for when it rained one afternoon. We parked right outside the apartment and there seemed plenty of space for this. Nice, quiet and safe street, 10 min walk to the amusements on the foreshore.

We had a lovely 2 night break at swordfish cottage. Communication from Alison was faultless. The cottage is accessed by 3 stairs up and then quite a few stairs down into the accommodation itself. Once inside it is beautiful, there is a very helpful and complete welcome book with full instructions for the appliances and shower etc. It is just a few minutes walk to the harbour and all local restaurants and shops. The Fleece pub opposite was extremely friendly, even when we walked in with our huge German Shepherd 😆 there was a lovely harbour view from the beer garden. All in all it was a perfect base to explore Whitby.

Amazing location with a fabulous view over the trees and sea. Easy access to Scarborough and Whitby, and further along the coast. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy and short walk down to the sea (although it’s a decent footwear walk not a flip flop walk). Lovely bathroom and decent size main bedroom (we didn’t use the smaller bedroom). Owners on hand if you need them, but other than a brief wave as we walked past they left us to it which suited us fine.

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!
