Loved our stay at the cottage its beautiful inside and tastefully done very clean and plenty of amenities its in a really good location close to everything but tucked away to be peaceful lovely views from the top floor and a nice big shower. Kate was very reponsive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

My son and I had a boys weekend away in Whitby, which as a family is our favourite place. We had also arranged to meet friends staying at Sandsend. Charlotte's cottage was delightful, full of character and so relaxing. It was beautifully decorated and maintained - there is nothing bad to say about it. If you want somewhere relaxing, off the usual tourist routes, you can't go wrong with delightful cottage.

We all really enjoyed our stay. The house was so comfortable. The kitchen was so well stocked with every imaginable utensil. The lovely gift of Botham’s Yorkshire Brack, wine and nibbles was a lovely touch. So leased we found you.

We’ve stayed in lots of cottages around Staithes and this one is wonderful. Really spacious which you don’t tend to get and lovely and quiet whilst still being super close to the village. Really high end place with lovely touches

Lovely weekend away in Sandsend. A beautiful holiday home just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Nice and private, plenty of parking, would recommend.

Beautiful home, great location and friendly host. Our first time in Sandsend with my family and we had a great time. The home was warm, welcoming and had everything we needed. The beach just opposite was perfect for kids and dogs. The bus into Whitby was frequent and easy. Great celebration. Would recommend.

We had a great time staying at Maryam’s place. The caravan was lovely, modern and clean with plenty of room for us 4 adults and 2 children. We always love coming to Cayton Bay and I’m sure this won’t be our last visit!

The place was beautiful, the caravan was perfect as it is in the images, it was clean and well kept. The detail that he went to in stocked the van for all our needs was amazing ... The finer details that he thought of showed that he cared about the guest experience. Tea, Coffee, Juice, Towels of all kinds, hairdryer, the list goes on. He offered us a list of things to visit and see also, we already had our weekend plan, but for those that didn't it was a unique offer! A stones throw from the beach, and a sneaky look though so you can see a snippet of the beach from the caravan. a unique place peaceful and calm. Thank you Ben for a lovely memory and thank you for welcoming us to your home! I see why you love it!

Lovely place, homely and high spec internally as well as spotless. Jill communicated with us, before during and afterwards with gave us confidence. Love the area anyway but just off the beaten track so nice to be able to relax in peace and quiet but also have the amenities available. Swimming pool a bit tired but that’s for the Bays owners to sort out. Would definitely recommend 👍👍👍

We had a wonderful stay at kingfisher cottage over the new year. It was a lovely spotlessly clean home from home in a great location. Jo was very friendly and responsive. I’d highly recommend this property

we had a great time. very clean and cosy. it had beach vibes even during winter. we would like to come back in the summer. faultless stay. I had a few personal set backs as it is was the first time away with members of family suffering with dementia, but Andrea and Jason were both helpful and accommodating and responsive! we would definitely recommend. netflix was a nice treat! 5⭐

Had an absolutely fantastic time with the three children, plenty to do and coming back to the caravan was so cosy. Would definitely stay again. Amanda our host was ace too!

Perfect stay , location excellent, caravan spotless , used as a base for day trips to filey , scarbourgh , Bridlington and Whitby , would definitely recommend to anyone and will be booking again in the near future ..👍

Fantastic place to stay, great location has everything you need and more. The only thing I would say is the main door downstairs to get in is quite tricky the key needs to be wiggled quite a bit to get it to open. A hard turn to the left gets it working once you know how. We loved our stay the home is gorgeous inside and couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We are already looking at dates to book to come back in a few months time

This was our third stay at the property, so it goes without saying that we love it here. The apartment is in a great location, just a very short flat walk out of Whitby centre but with great views of Whitby and the harbour. The apartment was immaculately clean and warm. The welcome pack of tea, hot chocolate, bread, biscuits, wine and milk were greatly appreciated. Thank you. We will be booking again very soon 😊

Had an amazing stay at Louise's place! It was incredibly comfortable, cozy and well equipped with all essentials and creature comfort. Really appreciated Louise's responsiveness, super quick to address any questions I had, her attentiveness really stood out. Location and surrounding was great as well. Tuly enjoyed our stay here. The only regret I had was not having enough time to write on her guest book.

When we walked into the cottage, we fell in love with it, especially once we got the fire going. It was so pretty, well equipped. It would have been nice to have some shampoo and conditioner but didn’t affect our stay. The beds were so comfy, especially the bed in the top bedroom. The mattress, duvet and cover made for a very cosy and perfect sleep. Would highly recommend. We hope to be back very soon!

Had a wonderful short stay. The accommodation was fantastic, very well equipped with so many special touches. Well positioned, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, I can’t speak highly enough of the apartment.

We have spent three glorious days at Matthew and Samantha’s stunning cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for and beyond. The kitchen was well equipped, from the lovely crockery to the fab oven. We loved the big pine kitchen table and spent time in the evenings eating, drinking wine and putting the world to rights. The sitting room is comfy and the wood burner was excellent. The showers were great. As for the setting, when you open the door the river is in front of you and the beach a few metres to the right, heaven! The local pub to your left was fab, locals go there and are friendly, fish and chips excellent! I could go on and on! Whitby, Runswick Bay etc all close by. Cheers both, we will definitely be back.

I visit Whitby regularly to see family and this property allowed me to be close to both them and also the main town and beach, which the dogs absolutely loved. The property was clean and perfect for our needs. The host, Kristy, was also on hand quickly to answer any questions we had to keep our minds at ease during our stay.

Thanks Steve for a brilliant twixmas break! Everything we needed in a comfortable environment. Everything was as described, clear communication throughout the experience from Steve. Definitely worth a visit during the summer months just for the surrounding views! Prepayment meter gave us a challenge waking up with no electric the first morning! 🥶 tip - make sure you’ve put more than plenty on for your first night until you get an idea of your usage!
