Had a fantastic couple of days in Hebden over new year. Property is 10 minutes walk from the town and the canal. Loads to do in town, some fantastic pubs ! Loved the duke box in the house !

Carol was very welcoming and provided very helpful information about the areas and commute options. She knew a lot about India and we had few interesting talks. She was kind to accommodate our early check-in request. The uber service is cheaper than local taxis and very convenient from Carol's house. It is an open parking on the street and we had no trouble finding space. Overall a good stay at Carol's.

Hi arrived and felt welcome straight away .Nice area od Scarborough rural-quiet.Which I'm used to wonderful .Accommodation was perfect ,especially the separate bathroom with shower&bath.Breakfast each morning was attentive & nicely presented. Definitely book again as Sarah makes you feel relaxed &at home instantly. Is near to Scarborough but a good walk if your not to fit lol .Taxi would be a plan B if not .Air B&B for me in summer was perfect thankyou ♡

Excellent place to stay for large parties. Loads of room and amenities were excellent. The host is great at answering any questions. We will definitely stay again as location is perfect.

It is a stunning cottage and we would have loved to stay longer than just a weekend! The place is cosy, spacious and has beautiful views of the countryside. The host, Virginia was very thoughtful, friendly and helpful on checking and throughout the stay.

I just want to reiterate what everyone else has already said about Belinda and Ian's place - it's a fantastic place to stay. Belinda is an amazing cook so you can expect good home cooked food. It's the perfect balance of being chatty and sociable but also getting your own space to relax. Highly recommend!

Myles and his little place was excellent, location was great parking was about 100m away and a reasonable price, Myles answered my emails promptly and everything he said was accurate. I would definitely recommend this place again if I am in the village visiting friends again I would have no reservations about rebooking Thanks Myles great host great place could not have asked for more

Very much enjoyed my stay at Linda's. The house is immaculate and cosy, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom is spotless, spacious, and has a great shower! A nice breakfast was included as well, with vegan-friendly options. The area seems nice and quiet, and is about 20 minutes walk from the town centre. And no review would be complete without mention of Teddy the dog, who will provide you with a friendly greeting on arrival. Highly recommended!

Stayed before and as before fantastic little place, went over for a china crisis gig at pub next door perfect location and perfect pub/gig venue, lovely host had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Peter fab couple will definitely be back so as.

Entering through a rather modest door right off the street we found Andrea's flat to be spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. As previous reviews the bedroom at the rear of the property is very quiet so you get a good night's sleep in the huge comfy bed. The kitchen is modern, well equipped with several nice touches left for us to get our stay started. The shower gives a good hot flow, much better than the puny electric ones in most properties. We are really pleased to have found Andrea's flat and as we visit York at least once a year we hope to stay again.

Would definitely recommend this place to others and Catriona was a very good host being flexible, quick to reply and helpful :-)

This was our second stay in Martin and Carmens lovely apartment and will definitely book again when we’re in Leeds. Wonderful friendly hosts and very comfortable and quiet place to stay with easy access to the centre of Leeds and surrounding areas.

Bright colourful apartment with great views. Beautifully decorated with Gina’s lovely glass artworks. Ideal location for getting out and about. Gina was a friendly and attentive host. The little extras were greatly appreciated. Margaret

We loved our stay! Quiet place with everything we needed. The breakfast and supplies left were a really lovely touch and we also loved the games selection! The hot tub was super and we loved going for a little explore ... ending up at the pub just down the road. Perfect. A great little get away. Recommended!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Diana. Die Wohnung ist sauber, schön und super Eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Ausstattung ist absolut ausreichend. In der Umgebung findet man alles was man braucht, von Pubs, Restaurants, Schnellrestaurants, Supermarkt und Tankstellen. Es ist auch zu Fuß sehr gut erreichbar. Die Kommunikation mit Diana war super und der Check In sehr einfach. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Von dort kann man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dem Auto erkunden und erreichen. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt und würden es wieder buchen. Kann man empfehlen.

What a lovely place & person to stay with. I travelled up from Kent to stay for 2nts. Andrew was so friendly, always responded to messages promptly and comprehensively. His home exceeded expectations and had everything I needed. Although the traffic was at times noisy, I always take earbuds so wasn't an issue for me. The foam mattress was comfy and the room was spacious. Really lovely stay, I'll def come again, thank you.

My friend and I had a really good stay here, for the Whitby Gothic Weekend. Once arrived we were well accommodated, being given a driven tour around the town. Beds were comfortable and clean, and there were various amenities which were available. Breakfast was great, with many options which included local produce. Moreover, having breakfast be at a flexible time range allowed us to feel even more comfortable. Overall, we would definitely stay again, thanks again George and Christine.

The place was great. Amazing decor in the room and en suite, very comfortable bed, kettle with selection of teas, coffees and treats in the room. Breakfast very thought through. The hosts are very friendly and gave plenty of advice regarding the sightseeing. The dog is the cutest thing ever. Very happy with the stay

My husband and I just had the most wonderful time at Amanda’s house. Perfect location for York, bus stop literally just outside the front. Plenty of local shops and restaurants. Recommendations from Amanda for an amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch place called “ The Greengrocer’s “ make sure you go there hungry as the portions are huge. The house is full of character and furnished in keeping with the style of the house, loved looking at all the pictures and reading material in our room. Very clean and comfortable room, little fridge for milk and snacks and kettle provided with tea, coffee, sugar. Our bathroom was outstanding with claw foot bath and a new shower, so luxurious. Snuggled up on the sofa in our room under a cozy throw watching tv, so chilling. Amanda and partner are so welcoming and friendly it honestly felt like our home for the weekend and we even had a game of snooker on their full sized table. Breakfast really good and perfect hosts, will go back like a shot. Thank you both

We stayed over valentine’s weekend for a night and all I can say is itwas incredible, the location , and the host! The cabin/lodge was AMAZING so clean, so cozy, roomy and gorgeous interior. The cabin/ lodge had heating and underfloor heating (amazing when it’s cold outside), a full shower that had warm water and was very lovely and in general it was just so comfortable! The host was lovely gave us some great ideas on where to go for walks and where to eat in the near by towns. The location was amazing with so many walks to do and very close to pen-y-gent! Overall this was one of the best stays we have had with a lot of brilliant little touches within the lodge itself such as fresh fruits and breakfast things, slippers and robes just allowing you to feel right at home! It was perfect!!!!!!!!!!

Simon was an extremely friendly and welcoming host. The accommodation is in a gorgeous setting right on the coast to coast path and Simon gave me a choice of rooms when I arrived. Simon cooked a great breakfast and it was lovely to chat to him. He also has two beautiful dogs. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
