I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the hot tub—soaking under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The cottage itself was cozy, well-equipped, and spotless. The horses and chickens added to the feeling of a countryside retreat. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

I booked this for my wife's 40th. the host was outstanding with there responses and efforts to make my wife's birthday special. they organised balloons/banners and flowers for when we arrived, and seafood from the local fishmonger for our evening meal. The cottage was extremely well equipped, the best I have seen yet and the cleanliness was to a very high slandered. I would highly recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

If your like me, getting away to the countryside is bliss. This property was amazing. It was quiet, with a quirk of trains passing. It was amazing!!! I booked for a minimoon last minute and Jenny was so accomodating to this. We were over the moon. The hot tub was a bonus and didnt matter what time of day, it made everything so much more relaxing. We went out under the stars and due to no light polution, we were able to see all kinds in the sky. Just pure natural beauty. We have already recommended to friends and family and will defo be returning. Thank you Jenny x

Really lovely little cottage. Nicely done, with good style and feel to the space. Big comfy bed in the main bedroom. The underfloor heating was amazing, incredibly responsive to the control and really made the space feel warm. The hot tub was a real treat, took me a day to get used to it but was lovely and theatrical. Only criticism we had was the garden style furniture for the dining table, it wasn’t very ergonomic seating. But that really was a tiny fault in an otherwise lovely place.

I have just spent a long weekend here with friends. The cottage is just perfect for a couple or a small family with everything you need. Very clean and spacious. There was a nice little welcome hamper which was greatly appreciated, thank you Henry and Jane. Absolutely beautiful surroundings with many places to walk. Stunning views. There are also a few friendly local pubs but we didnt eat out so can't review those. The hot tub was very welcoming and used every evening. The only feedback I would give is to maybe add some lighting over the hot tub area for when it gets dusk. As you're in the countryside, there isn't any street lamps so it gets very dark at dusk. It only needs ambient lighting. That aside, absolutely no complaints at all from us. We love the relaxation as thats what we needed. I would highly recommend staying at Orchard Cottage. We hope to be returning one day.

We had a lovely time at L’aal Cottage. Great use of the space, everything of high standard and fully equipped for an enjoyable stay. Jan was friendly and made us very welcome. Great spot for exploring the Yorkshire coast and a great walk along the beach to Filey.

We have just spent a couple of wonderful days walking up penyghent. Moira's cottage was wonderful. Really clean and cosy and stocked with everything we needed. The walk up to pen-y-ghent starts literally right outside the doorstep which is very handy and a comfortable bed is exactly what we needed after the long walk. Thank you Mouira for your hospitality.

Great place to stay. Lovely area close to Colne and surrounding areas. House was very well stocked- had everything you could need. Would 100% recommend staying there again.

The house was absolutely lovely warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained. Every detail, from the charming decor to the cozy ambiance, made it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor area was equally delightful, perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or an evening under the stars. A wonderful cottage in a fabulous location. Fizz, fresh bread and homemade jam to greet us. Lovely warm and surprisingly large cottage with a gorgeous view of the ford. Great walks straight from the door with wildlife aplenty (sadly no red squirrels but our host did point us to a hotel where we managed to see them). All in all, a cracking place to stay.

Marvick Cottage was a peaceful, relaxing and perfect place to stay. We love Staithes and visit whenever we can, and this cottage matched our needs. While it was small, it had everything we needed, was warm, comfortable, and relaxing. The double bed was the comfiest mattress we have ever slept on. Highly recommended all round. Thank you, Keeley

we has a great stay, clean and v comfortable, some lovely walks along the canal and riverside, Malham Cove circular was awesome, lots of choices for places to eat from pubs to restaurants and a lovely Chippy, regular buses to and from surrounding area, Skipton has a wide variety of shops etc. overall a fantastic few days spent here, Thank you Jeremy and Jacqui

Although we already live in the countryside I nevertheless thought it would be nice to treat my wife to a stay over in North Yorkshire, within a short drive of Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and Saltburn, places my wife's never visited before. A lovely little cottage comfortably accommodating a family of four and with some lovely eggs and fruit to welcome us, thank you, the weather was very kind to us and we accomplished pretty much most of our aims, not bad with the complication of a couple of dogs in tow. That said, they were very well behaved - there's plenty of grass out on the verge of the main road to walk them on until we get to the beaches, and the small garden is enclosed so you can leave the patio door open without fear of them running off! In short, a beautifully well presented and kept cottage, excellent communications from Angie and yes, we would be more than happy to come back here again! Thank you again!

We had a really lovely stay at Curlew Cottage for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area as we are into our walks. The house itself was beautifully presented, spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was very peaceful with beautiful views all around. We spotted lots of wildlife which was lovely. We would highly recommend and hope to visit again in the future.

Simon communicated well with us and made sure we settled in. Nice location for our stay and perfect for the two of us and child who loved seeing the chickens on the farm.

A stunning amd peaceful setting. A really comfortable and cosy cottage with easy access to all activities we wanted to do.

This was our 2nd stay at Autumn Cottage and it was as good as we remembered. A great space for 2 people. The village pub is a couple of doors along the road and the owners and other customers are very friendly and were more than willing to offer recommendations of places to visit in the area. If we come back to this part of Yorkshire we would definitely stay here again

my partner and I had a fantastic stay. Easy to access the property with Deborah's instructions. The property is beautiful and the bath is an amazing addition. Great location with walks that you can complete from the front door. We ate at the White Swan in Fence and the food was beautiful -A great reccomendation from Deborah. We will definitely be back

Such a lovely place for a family break. This was by far the best family friendly place we have stayed. The outdoor space was lovely, the location felt really secluded and we really appreciated the thoughtful facilities for young children. Loads of books, toys, games and really family friendly layout. Friendly and welcoming hosts who were responsive and even left us a tasty cake, but also happy to leave us to it. Kitchen was really well equipped too - everything you could possibly need. Me and my boyfriend had a lovely 3 night stay at the Bell cottage. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival. The onsite shop was very handy! Michael was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything😊 It was a really nice relaxing weekend and the hot tub was fab, just what we needed! Thank you!
