A girls family two night stay! The cottage was delightful, lovely large open plan downstairs area, configuration of beds upstairs good too. The kitchen was well equipped. Outside was a large garden (shared) with private patio & bench to enjoy a spring time coffee and watch the wildlife. Saw deer from the window early morning and the resident peacock was good fun to watch strut his stuff throughout the day. Loads of great walks close by and Sunday lunch in the Wellington was super. Would definitely return

We had a wonderful stay at this impeccably clean and inviting home. Nestled in the peaceful countryside, it offers the perfect isolated escape for relaxation. Communication with the hosts was seamless, ensuring a smooth experience. Do plan ahead for supplies, as it’s a bit far from shopping centers. We highly recommend this serene haven and would gladly return!

We had a lovely stay at the Granary. The place was well equipped and the host came to welcome us as soon as we arrived. The area is absolutely gorgeous (you will need a car to get there!), and the EV charging station was great! The fact that the hosts live on site also gives an extra layer of reassurance.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

Me, my wife and two young daughters had a great stay at Steve’s home away from home… I describe it as home away from home as this is just what it was. We had everything we needed from fresh clean towels for the showers and hot tub provided, all cooking facilities including utensils pots and pans which are often over looked via Airbnb as we are very much a family who cooks. Great internet and even Netflix was available on the smart tv ( essential for the kids not us). The house was very cozy and warm, perfect for families, and our stay very peaceful and quiet. Location wise was perfect to explore the surroundings of Robin Hood’s bay and Whitby which are only a short drive away. The hot tub was a highlight with an amazing view, and easy to access being only metres away from the door. Thanks Steve for the great stay!

Had a fantastic couple of days at Toms place. Great location and an easy walk into town. Tom was a great host and replied to every question quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend.

Perfect location to switch off with great views and plenty of privacy whilst being brilliantly situated to explore the local towns and walks. Really friendly and flexible host. I'll will certainly stay again when back in the area.

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again Richard!

A beautiful house, in a glorious location, overlooking a golf course. Tom and Sarah were great hosts, who responded quickly to any queries. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was great to gather and relax in. Beds were very comfortable and linen was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus and great to spend time in on a cold winter evening! Very happy to recommend to other potential visitors.

Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the cottage. Check in details Sophie provided in advance really helpful and clear. The cottage was beautiful! So many lovely touches that made it feel homely and special and the hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely recommend and come again.

I cannot recommend the little lodge enough. Me and my boyfriend had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back. Joe was an excellent host!

It doesn’t get much better than a glorious spring morning—blue skies above, sunshine on your face, and the simple pleasure of relaxing in a hot tub while watching lambs gambol playfully in the next field. The views across the Ribble Valley to Pendle Hill are wonderful. We were lucky with the weather, but honestly, this is the kind of place that’s perfect no matter the season. Even if the skies turn grey, the cosy charm of the shepherd’s hut makes it a wonderfully snug retreat. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean, beautifully finished, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. Catherine was a great host—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful escape in stunning surroundings, look no further. This place is an absolute gem

We could not fault our stay with Jim and Jeanette. From questions before booking and right through our stay the hosts were extremely responsive and even sent us recommendations and contact details of the local areas beforehand. Jim checked us in and went through the whole cottage with us, so friendly. The accommodation itself is the cleanest Airbnb I have ever stayed in, the hot tub was absolutely spotless, so clean. We felt right at home right away and again even extra touches for our doggo too. The most beautiful location, great if you love walking and don’t want to use the car. We cannot wait to return!!

Will’s cabin was lovely, very peaceful and in a gorgeous area. We visited Knaresborough and Ripon during our stay, really recommend! We also ordered a lovely Indian on the first night. It was so nice to relax in the hot tub on the evenings, especially as I am recovering from surgery so it was really good for my ankle. The dogs were lovely and friendly. We had wifi so were able to stay in touch with people and watch Netflix which was lovely.

We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Burnside Cottage is a most charming home from home set in idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The location is perfect with so much to explore right on the doorstep. The cottage is immaculately clean and fresh, and a very comfortable place to come back to after a day out and about. Or simply a cosy place to relax in. The outside space is a real bonus too, especially when the weather is good. Everything is of a high standard and much care and thought have been put into making this a great place to stay. Thank you Alyson for making us feel so welcome. It was lovely to meet you, Andrew and Alfie, and of course, your delightful Mum. I'm already thinking about our next visit.

We have just spent the week at Gill’s property in preparation for Christmas and all the ‘in-between’ days (where you don’t know what day of the week it is, or if you’re even still in December.) We were hoping for relaxation, in the middle of the country, with a crackling fire and lots of walks which is exactly what we had! We visited the local pubs (not walkable but in very close driving distance) and found some beautiful walks that were truly incomparable to our London/Essex surroundings. Gill was on hand for anything and everything and was very responsive before, during and after our visit. Gill was very welcoming and truly accommodating. The property was lovely, and felt very spacious for a 2 bed. We had a wonderful time in Yorkshire and will definitely be returning again in the near future.

The house was absolutely lovely warm, inviting, and beautifully maintained. Every detail, from the charming decor to the cozy ambiance, made it feel like a true home away from home. The outdoor area was equally delightful, perfect for enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or an evening under the stars. It was clear that great care had been taken to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. A truly wonderful stay!

If you want to truly immerse yourself in the landscape of Brontë country, this place is the dream - the views are breathtaking, and it sits right on the route of the Brontë Way walk. A lot of the fittings (like the wardrobe and window bench) are beautiful as well and add to the character of the place. It's an atmospherically cold and windswept location but you don't have to use the heater very long before the studio warms up, and it retains that warmth well - we never woke up shivering in the night! Simon was really friendly and very helpful with directions, and we felt really well taken care of. We also really enjoyed the studio's selection of books about the area and used them a lot for our walks and trips to Haworth!
