Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay if you are visiting York or the surrounding countryside. the pub opposite is very convenient if you don’t want to cook. There is a helpful folder of local business and things to do to help you settle in. Doug and Katrina are great hosts, I can recommend staying here.

We had an amazing time at this venue. Lovely people and even the locals who use the pub from around the area were so welcoming. Fantastic way to start the New Year.

Clean, convenient and compact. The accommodation was well equipped and well presented. It’s a compact and efficient space located within walking distance of Ilkley. Ilkley is a lovely Yorkshire town with great cafes, shops and restaurants. There is good walking from the accommodation and the Dales is a short drive away.

Sara and Tom we’re incredibly attentive and very helpful. They responded very quickly to my questions which allowed me to make the best out of our time in their gorgeous little abode. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and had excellent amenities. The coffee (kept in the fridge for freshness) was delicious and we received complimentary breakfast before we left for home. We were really pleased with the location. Thank you, Sara, Tom and Ted, for looking after us so brilliantly.

Such a beautiful place to stay in a quiet village with a wonderful pub just a 2 minute walk away - great food! Peaceful garden and porch areas to decompress from traveling. Pru and Todd were kind and friendly. I left feeling like I had new friends and a place to return to. Clean, quiet, with a well equipped kitchen. A perfect landing spot in a quiet English countryside village. Close to Hull, Beverly, and the North Sea coast.

Perfect stay at Kate’s from start to finish. Kate was helpful, friendly and responsive and even ensured I had a DVD player to watch my training videos. Lovely private spot and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend!

Would give the cottage and Kitty, our host, a million stars if we could! From the beautiful landscape to the cozy cottage, we loved every minute of our stay. Kitty recommended lots of great restaurants and shops in nearby villages which we enjoyed checking out. Their are walking trails right off the property. We spotted all kinds of birds, deer, and loved the horses and cows nearby. The cottage is decorated so lovely and having a fire in the evening was such a comfort. It's very clean and supplied well with kitchen utensils, coffee, etc. We were genuinely sad to leave! We hope to be back soon, if Kitty will have us! Can't recommend a stay here enough, you will have a wonderful time!

My daughter and I had a lovely stay. This is the second time I’ve stayed and would highly recommend. Karen is always friendly and attentive and we had everything we needed. The bungalow itself is cosy and spotless. We caught the bus to York both days which was easy to do and we had a great time in York. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again x

We valued having a peaceful place to stay within easy reach of the hospital for visiting a close relative. It was very quiet and comfortable and we appreciated kitchenette provision with microwave, induction hob, toaster and kettle etc and also somewhere to relax on nice seating downstairs. The loft area was ideal with good shower etc and quality bedding that gave us a good night's sleep. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the heating worked well so we were kept lovely and warm. Finally we appreciated the breakfast provision which was left for us. We came by car and parked on the drive but we do use rail sometimes and have railcards so the station nearby might be handy for some future visit.

We had a great stay in the lodge. There were several nice touches that made the stay all the more special. Sometimes it’s just the little things that make a big difference. The small sachets of oat milk in the fridge for example. A member of the party is lactose intolerant and although we had brought our own it’s very rare accommodation caters for this in our experience. The park the lodge is on is very well maintained and is spotless. The lodge itself is spacious and very well equipped and we enjoyed our time in the hot tub. I would definitely recommend and will be sure to visit again.

Easy to find and clear instructions, it was as expected. Spotlessly clean and ideal for my needs. Lovely village with nice walks and accessible to the moors and sites of interest.

This place is absolutely gorgeous, we fell in love with it as soon as we walked through the door. The owners have done an excellent job with the design and decor of the property and the outside space is perfect too. It’s just a 10 minute stroll from the centre of knaresborough. Barrie the owner was very accommodating with a couple of requests we had and recommended the marigold cafe set in the shadows of the railway bridge next to the river for breakfast on Sunday morning which was very good. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend to family and friends. Thanks again Barrie for making our stay a lovely experience 😁

We stayed at Tim’s place for one night. As our first Airbnb experience we were pleased and extremely happy to say we had a fantastic experience. The Annex was clean, well stocked with all you need and instructions and communication with Tim was spot on. We had the best nights sleep on a comfy sofa bed, and the large garden area on offer made for an excellent evening sat under the sun. Tim and his wife were excellent and caring hosts and this has inspired us both to get away more often. Thanks a lot Tim! Regards, Reuben

we had a great time. the house was great. it had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. we walked to York one day and and got the bus next (very easy). the space is homely. bed was very comfortable. if we were in York again we would love stay again if possible.

Lovely accommodation near the river and a short walk into York city centre. Nice quiet location and very private.

Such a beautiful place for a relaxed time away. Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic birthday weekend away thanks to Louise . The extra gifts like the birthday card, Prosecco, etc always make such a difference. Highly recommend and would like to thank the hosts again for such a great trip !!

Alison was an extremely friendly and courteous host. She went over and above to make us feel at home whilst still respecting our space. All the little touches including the very yummy homemade jam were very welcome little treats which made our stay all the more pleasant. Very rural picturesque village. Would highly recommend.

Great stay at Little Winton, ideally located for our visit to the area, delightful, beautifully presented property. Super hosts, highly recommend.

This is such a charming guesthouse. Very bright and spacious as well as spotless and cosy. Mick was great. He provided us with detailed instructions on how to find the place and gave us a little tour when we arrived. He even provided us with milk, bread and fruit. I would love to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Nicola's Guest Suite. Everything was clean and fresh and comfortable. The situation of the property was ideal for our trips around Nidderdale. It was set down a quiet lane with easy access to the man roads. Communications with Nichola were very smooth as she sent detailed and thorough instructions to find the property. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area.

We stayed at the property for a family mini break. The cottage was excellent, upon arrival we found thoughtful gifts which made our stay that little bit more special. We really appreciated the outside extra long dog lead which allowed our pooch to wander around the patio/ garden whilst we were in the hot tub. We would highly recommend the cottage, It's a comfortable property with everything you need for a relaxing break, it has beautiful surroundings with amazing views. Sarah was fantastic and responded very quickly and is a great host. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you

We stayed 2 nights at Honeybee Lodge. The lodge was easy to find. Check-in was simple. The Lodge is on a quiet park with 2 fantastic restaurants close by. Everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable was available. There's plenty of space for 4 and I'm sure that when the weather is better that the decking area would be a superb spot for evening dining. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. A great base for exploring York and the surrounding areas.
