What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

Paul, Maggie and their place made for a wonderful weekend. There isn't anything that is too much for them to do for you, they are the most genuine and lovely people I've had the pleasure of staying with! We had an accident and they went above and beyond to ensure we were okay, offering any help they could give us and checking up on us throughout the day. The shepards hut itself is lovely, so cute and in a peaceful spot where you can hear all the wildlife. Despite the accident this was one of the best weekends away we have had! Overall I can't reccoment this place enough and we can't wait to come back in the summer!

Really really good stay. Enjoyed the use of the indoor and outdoor fires, especially under the stars and listening to the owls. Kathryn & Trevor have really used the space well and it feels very private. Trevor welcomed us from the beginning and was very friendly and showed us to the hut. Perfect weekend away to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. Thank you for letting us stay in such a lovely peaceful space! Oh and the sheep are extremely friendly too!

Had a lovely night away at Jo’s shepherds hut. Beautiful inside and homely, Jo was an amazing host and very helpful!! Will definitely be coming back ❤️

The journeyman is a fantastic place to stay. The views are delightful and Alison and John are wonderful hosts, providing a warm welcome and local recommendations. Barnoldswick itself is a charming town with plenty of places to drink and eat.

My partner and I stayed here for a night away and we both thoroughly enjoyed the stay! Hannah was lovely and so welcoming to us and we felt at home from the second we got there! The shepherds hut was clean, tidy and very cozy! The views around the whole area are stunning too! We stayed early in the spring and there were lambs in the field directly next to the hut, it was nice to see them bouncing around first thing in the morning when we woke up. If you’re looking for a short break away, in the country side and somewhere peaceful and quiet, we 100% recommend staying here! Close by is a pub that served the some of the best pub food we have had and there is a beautiful waterfall and walking trail a stones throw away too!

The cabin is lovely and cosy! It has a very comfortable bed. It is very private and quiet. The hot tub was switched on at arrival and was very relaxing. There was extra add on packages you can opt for, we selected the breakfast package and it’s extremely good value, the quality of the goodies was excellent. Carly was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions and we will definitely be back, next time for a longer stay.

Just the change of scenery we wanted. Lovely location, nice and private. A great place to unwind in a beautiful part of the country.

absolutely incredible place, so peaceful and so much wildlife. felt very at home. My dog felt very at home in the woods and in the little river. wonderful place could not recommend it enough. Jordan was a fantastic host. 5 stars all round.

Great price and it’s a nice little cosy getaway for 2 would definitely recommend.

First solo weekend break and Cate put me at ease! They have added an extra covered seating area which was perfect as it rained my first night! Cosy and warm with the fire and the hot tub was lush. About an hour or so walk into Howarth, perfect location! Couldn’t recommend more!

We had a fabulous stay at this shepherds hut, everything was as it was described, there was everything we could need there. Its very well presented and so cosy. The hot tub took a while to get to temperature but once it was it maintained the perfect heat. Its a very private location, you arent over looked at all. We went to Kip and Nook which is a 3 min drive away and had pizza and used the facilities which was lovely. Hosts were very responsive. Would 100% return

What a fantastic idyllic spot! We loved our stay. Bruce was a brilliant host. Amazing tray of treats upon arrival, the cheese was delicious, really delicious! Wagon was quirky, comfy, and just all around amazing. We will definitely be coming back!

Review Ali's woodland shepherds hut. Firstly I'd like to say Alison was a fantastic host and she really has created a special little getaway here in North Yorkshire. Splendid views in all weather (not fog 😉) and creatively appointed inside and out. I had a good few chats n laughs with her partner Andy.. great guy. I went alone no dog... Just me for a quiet three night stay .. I packed my car with alot of camping kit minus tent as I figured I'd use alot of my own stuff... Whilst there are most things you'd need at the hut and in the seperate kitchen sun room ... It's good to take things like your own camp chairs etc.. (they do have a few there but I'm 19stone and didn't wanna risk a shallow hal moment 😅). Shepherds hut: lovely cosy hut with raised double bed with bedding. Cupboards table chair and wood burning stove. The stable doors look out across the country side and there is a small covered veranda for two chairs... I really enjoyed sitting just inside with stove on..looki

We had a wonderful stay at Stoodley Pike Shepherd’s hut. We loved the hut. It was very comfortable and well-equipped. Very comfy bed and luxurious towels. The hot tub was perfect. We didn’t use the car at all. We walked to Hebden Bridge via Stoodley Pike and got the bus back. The brownies that were left for us were delicious and much appreciated. Thank you for a great stay.

Fantastic stay, the photos didn’t do the enchanted hut justice, was way above our expectations, so much private space and extremely peaceful, sat out with the fire pit all night relaxing. Sharon came over to say hi and check on us. Must say this was the perfect break. The Enchanted Hut was very clean and the kitchen was perfect, highly recommend staying.

absolutely beautiful 2 days is this little treasure of a place . everything was spotless and the log burner kept me very toasty in the evening. Lizzie even brought me some sugar as I had forgotten . immaculate toilet and shower area too , which I had all to myself . thank you Lizzie and David 💕

We had a great relaxing stay in the Shepherds Watch with our little dog. Everything was spotless and a bit quirky, just how we like it. The Scratching shed is a joy to behold we would definitely book again.
