Andrew was a great host, very responsive and even pre-stocked the kitchen with milk shortly before we arrived. His place was lovely and cosy, and just a short walk from the convention centre. Everything was completely spotless. The only potential issue I could find was that the single bed seemed relatively short compared to other beds I've slept in so that might be problem for some people. Having said that, I'm very short, so that didn't bother me at all. Overall, my friend and I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this airbnb listing.

En fantastisk liten perle i York! Vi hadde et veldig fint opphold i dette hyggelige huset. Det ligger veldig sentralt og har alt man trenger. Stille og rolig, gode senger. Vi satt veldig pris på at det var satt frem noen basic matvarer som te og kaffe ++ Kan anbefale å spise frokost/lunsj på Partisan. Jeg ville absolutt valgt å bo her igjen! 10 av 10

Lovely house, perfectly situated. Stewed with our family, son, daughter-in-law and grandson. Everyone loved the house. It was warm and cosy. Paul was super, messaging to welcome us and responded very quickly to any questions I would definitely book again and look forward to returning.

A great place to stay for a a visit to Whitby. Great views of the abbey from bedroom windows and close to restaurants, bars and shops. Very responsive host. Problems quickly sorted.

The house was very comfortable and we felt at home immediately. Kitchen has all necessary appliances, etc. Spotless bathroom and comfy beds. Easy walking to the Minster and other attractions. Restaurant recommended by Dave very good. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Really nice place for 7 of us to get together for a reunion weekend. The house was comfortable with great decor and space to relax, plus room at the table for all of us. We found the heating a bit of a challenge and we were far too hot overnight (downstairs room, they struggled to adjust the radiator) but just turned it off completely on the second day. Lots of hot water and ample equipment, nice toiletries provided. It was inconvenient to have to meet beforehand to gain access, especially since there were roadworks nearby that caused a disproportionate delay to my arrival. Fortunately Beth's housekeeper was flexible around this, but, given that there is a key box, it seems an unnecessary complication. There was also a lot of "noise" before we arrived, in terms of instructions and rules for the property, none of which were onerous, just felt a bit unnecessary; but perhaps previous guests have been less than respectful in what is a lovely residential area.

A perfect place to stay when visiting the Brontë musuem! Great location, clean and spacious house with everything we needed.

Great spot for our family of 4, close to great bakery and restaurants and quiet. Easy free parking a plus. The flat is adorable with a lot of nice touches:)

Lovely clean house with plenty of space and amenities. Beds comfy, bathrooms clean and kitchen modern and spacious. We had 4 children with us so having a bathroom next to the kitchen was a god send! Close enough to the town centre to walk- but quiet enough for the children. Great communication from Laura too. We would definitely book this again. 10/10.

We loved our stay at Sarah's place in York. It was very central, while still being in a calm area of the city right next to the city walls. Sarah gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and we particularly enjoyed our evening meal at skosh close by. The amenities in the flat were great, with comfy sofas and beds and a decent kitchen as well. There is also parking although we did not use this.

We had a great time in this property, Debra was a great communicator and the place was perfect for access to the multitude of pubs and restaurants. Parking in Whitby is limited, but with good advice from Debra we found it straightforward

Great location, nice Street, very clean house, well appointed, was nice to be able to cook too. 10 minutes walk to cathedral. so many shops, cafes, restaurants etc lots to do. short walk from York station. we stayed 3 nights but feel we need to come back to experience more of York!

We had a brilliant half term holiday at Kathryn’s gorgeous house. She is an incredible host - so friendly and responsive and went out of her way to make things as easy as possible for us including providing a spotless high chair, cot and bed guard etc. The house is exactly as described - comfortable, clean, spotless! And has absolutely everything you need, Kathryn really does think of everything. From ice cubes to children’s books! It’s a perfect location for walking into town, the train station and other attractions such as the railway museum etc. We had two children, a baby and a grandparent in tow and it was perfect for everyone involved. The bunkbeds were especially a hit for our boys. Thank you Kathryn!

Had a lovely stay - the place suited our needs perfectly. Very happy. Easy to find, good location and lovely inside. Renovation works that have been done to the property were well worth it. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved the cottage, it was exactly as described. Loved the little extras for our dog and the essentials for us, i.e. tea, coffee, sugar milk, biscuits and jams 😊. The location was brilliant too, very close to every you need and lovely walks from the doorstep. Thank you 🙏

Such a lovely property. Perfect for our girly weekend in York. Good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. Bathrooms all clean and modern with towels provided. Kitchen and sitting area was perfect. Location was great. 5 minutes walk to the Minster and surrounding streets and markets.

We had a lovely stay in Simon's Seagull Escape. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need including disney plus, kitchen appliances, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits! The seagul and seaside theme was throughout the flat and really made it feel like a beach holiday. The location was great- really close to the park, the beach, chippy and local amenities. Simon was really responsive and friendly. Check in instructions were super clear, making the process of collecting the keys really easy. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Scarborough.

We stayed at the cottage for a couple of nights and had a great time! It was beautiful, so cosy and in a great location. Vanessa was very helpful when we contacted her. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay ☺️

We had a fantastic stay at Clare’s lovely townhouse in York. From the outset, communication was excellent—Clare provided plenty of helpful information about both the house and the local area, and she thoughtfully considered the fact that we were travelling with young children. The house itself was beautifully decorated in a style that really suited our taste—classic with a contemporary twist—and it was spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The arrival pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated after our journey. We also received a thorough information pack both digitally and as a printed copy in the house, which made everything very easy. The location was ideal—just 15 minutes from the city centre—offering a peaceful retreat after days exploring beautiful York. One particularly sweet gesture was a little cuddly toy left for the girls, which made them feel instantly at home. It truly felt like a home from home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here. Thanks

Beautifully renovated terraced house near to the railway station and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and markets of Beverley. The 2 double bedrooms are bright and pretty. The sofa is very comfortable, and the kitchen exceptionally well appointed and stocked with crockery, glasses, pans etc. We would recommend to other couples wishing to stay in an immaculate and quiet place with free parking. We were able to charge our EV in the car park opposite, then park very close to the door for the rest of our stay. The Prosecco and snacks an added bonus. Thanks, Jen.
