John was a great host, brilliant and clear communication. The apartment was clean and all the amenities worked, comfy bed and decent shower. I had to work remote for half a day in the apartment and the WiFi was perfect and no issues at all for when using for work calls. The location is ideal, not far from a local supermarket and only a short walk to Shipley town centre. Overall, very happy and would recommend.

Lovely flat with great views over harbour. It was so easy to get everywhere, not just within Whitby to the shops, beach, pier etc but also for transport to other areas. We parked up on arrival at Pannett Park then just left the car there for the whole week. We got buses to Staithes, Runswick Bay, Sandsend and Robin Hood's Bay. There were also buses and trains going to the North York Moors so you don't really need a car to get anywhere. The flat itself was very clean, tidy and well appointed . The beds and huge sofa were extremely comfortable.

I stayed with 4 friends at this apartment for a long weekend. The host was very responsive up to the date of check-in, asking if we wanted double beds or split single beds, and also provided lots of information for getting into the property, local amenities and directions. The place itself is great - really clean with all the basics you would need for a long weekend. It's also an easy 15 mins walk into the center of York and 5 or so mins from the train station so ideally located and easy to use as a base. Thanks for a great stay.

Natasha was helpful and responsive- replied within a couple of minutes of my messages. We arrived after midnight and the man at the front desk was so kind and helpful, he even went down to the garage to make sure we got in safely and carried our bags up to the flat for us. My mum was feeling he cold a little (change in season and tired) and Natasha arranged a thick duvet for her, it arrived within an hour of me asking. The flat is spotlessly clean, beds and pillows very comfortable. I think the only thing missing was a bedside lamp so I could sit up and read in bed but that's no biggie. The flat is right in the middle of Bradford so very easy to get around- we ate at the Karachi (a place my mum used to go to in the 70s!) which was very good and only a short walk away. I was warned about walking alone in Bradford at night but I felt very safe. People were friendly, there was a community police presence on Friday and Saturday night.

Had such a fantastic time at Ryan’s place. The accommodation is incredible and perfectly located. Really well kitted out with all you need in the kitchen although there was enough lovely cafes and restaurants around so we didn’t cook in the apartment. As others had mentioned, shame there isn’t an allocated parking space but the leisure centre is a few minute walk and was free whilst we were there. Brilliant communication from Ryan and easy check in/check out. Would highly recommend and would stay there again if in Whitby! Cheers Ryan

We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay. The house exceeded our expectations and the photos do not do it justice. We stayed over the Christmas period and the house was festively decorated. Spotlessly clean with the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. Everything you could need was provided for our stay. It is around 15-20 minute walk into town and the canal path there provided a lovely walk. We really enjoyed clocking up our steps ending with a visit to the many lovely pubs that Skipton has to offer. Highly recommend

We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed in the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. There was a great shower with plenty of hot water, the beds were very comfortable. We were able to park the car directly outside the front door and Martin left the parking permit for us in the front room. The cottage is situated just a few minutes walk from the main town centre which allowed us easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would like to stay again in the future.

Lovely place, me and my family enjoyed staying there. Felt very homely and welcoming. The garden was perfect. Will definately stay again.

My second stay during February but this time i rented upstairs and downstairs as our party was bigger. The upstairs apartment is Even more special, with a beautiful, spacious reception room and lots of light from two big windows. The bedrooms are on an upper level. Everything well appointed and stylish. Very much at home here.

Amy and Oliver - I actually have no words for how amazing this place was! I first put it in my wishlist a long while back and somehow stumbled upon it again to stay for the first time this weekend. My family and I were completely amazed at absolutely everything - every detail and the handiwork you have both put into this place is just immaculate. I’m so grateful I was able to find this place - it was so homely, so clean, absolutely stunning, the most equipped place we’ve stayed in and so much more. My only complaint is that we wish we stayed LONGER! I hope you will continue to keep your home open as it’s an amazing place to stay - we hope to be back (and perhaps with others who haven’t been blessed to see it yet). Thank you for everything you supplied us with this weekend - we were fascinated by everything and we are still talking about the home now that we’re home! It has truly been a blessing to stay and we cannot wait to come back & make more mems. Sending love, my family and I!

Excellent stay - beautiful home - warm and cosy with views of steam train. Kitchen small but adequately equipped. Lounge very comfortable. Bedrooms lovely size and the top floor room had a fabulous comfy bed. Bathroom lovely with bath and plentiful water. Ideally situated for all amenities and walks.

Me and my family absolutely loved our stay. The apartment was just as described, and very neat and tidy. We had very clear instructions about every aspect of the stay, and the place is in a n excellent position to visit York city centre.

Claudia’s flat was perfect for what I needed - great location and a lovely flat, exactly as described! Claudia was really helpful and responsive, I’d definitely stay again.

Comfortable place with good parking and surrounded by green spaces. Host friendly and helpful. Flat is well kitted out with extra touches of cereal, tea, coffee, milk and butter which were much appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to book again if needed to be in the area. Thank you

I booked a weekend at Diane’s place for my parents, they had nothing but wonderful things to say, the space was spotless & the welcome gifts was highly appreciated, thank you. mum FaceTimed me showing me round & the place looked exactly like photos, my parents loved it. They went out to eat & drink at Omni & loved the vibe in there, they also visited the market & said it was great (they brought me back some gorgeous cannolis) They said it was right up their street, thank you Diane for the fab weekend of peace & quiet away from the grandkids ! I would recommend Diane’s place to anyone looking to visit Malton x

We absolutely loved our stay! The place was gorgeous, and we felt right at home! Would definitely recommend, as the hosts were super helpful and friendly, the location was perfect (a very easy walk into York), and the flat was super easy to get into and navigate. Really felt like a great place to stay, and we had an excellent night sleep!

We had a great wk away staying at Chris's apartment. Instructions , pre our stay, were clear & concise. Chris was attentive in answering any questions we had. The apartment was easy to find & we settled in straight away. In walkale distance to all amenities...enjoyed some excellent local restaurants. The Shambles drew in my sons fiance Puck as she is a Harry Potter Fan & being from the Netherlands was delighted to see the Dutch nap in the apartment too. My son, who is a chef, gave the kitchen 5 stars 🌟...all modern equipment & the cooker great...he made us a lovely lamb dinner mid week. We toured the area, drove to Whitby enjoying fish & chips where Mary Berry went , Harrogate is a must & Lincoln...my son wanted to see the Magna Carta! Its been a busy week touring but we also enjoyed the peace of the apartment...plenty of board games & Jenga! Linen was spotless, beds comfortable & warm to come home to in the evenings...a home from home. Thank you Chris !
