A really fantastic place to stay. Every member of the family loved it. This was a house that you wanted to hang out in and felt really home from home. High quality and immaculate. Loved the location and the peace and quiet!

Oh my goodness, huge thanks go to my daughter for recommending this wonderful home for us to stay in - she stayed here in the summer. The house was just as described, with everything we could possibly need, right down to salt and pepper! Three couples in three en-suite rooms, what could be better? The open plan layout worked really well. We could be cooking without feeling out of it. Everything was spotlessly clean, modern and very well kept. Our host Toni-Ann was fabulous, both before be arrived and during our stay and check out. She replies to messages super quickly and had answers to all of our questions.

A great place for my family to come together to celebrate our late father. He would have adored the house as much as we all did from dogs, to babies, teenagers, parents and great auntie. The house was clean, very comfortable and had a great choice of social spaces. 15 mins to Combe Martin and Lynmouth gave us plenty to do and exercise, even in January. Highly recommend the house and the host.

The stay at Rachel’s place was amazing,Rachel prepared a hamper basket for our arrival,warmed the place for us for when we arrive,everything was exceptional,the house has amazing views,very lovely and quiet neighbourhood,overall very pleased with our host and house and hopefully will go back during summer time thank you

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

Caroline is a fantastic welcoming host, the lodge is immaculate and extremely well equipped and well thought out. Welcome gifts were left for each of us which was a lovely touch and very thoughtful. Would highly recommend, beautiful location, we would love to return. We have made some lovely memories staying at Maple Lodge!

We couldn't have wished for a nicer location to spend our weekend, it truly was the perfect setting to celebrate with friends. We had a gorgeous stay in Canworthy Water. Kieran's home is stunning, a wonderful space with absolutely everything you could possibly need, a real home away from home. We enjoyed preparing meals in the huge kitchen (with all the bits you could need), eating around the table and toasting to one another, lounging on the very comfortable sofas, dancing to our music through the speakers, feeling like we were in a whirlpool on a very windy evening in the hot tub, a trip out to Boscastle (the Cobweb Inn is just beautiful and cosy), and finally sleeping in the super comfortable beds. No complaints! Thank you Kieran for being so responsive before and throughout our stay, endlessly helpful and kind, it is really appreciated! We really hope to return again in the future.

A great few days away in this beautiful house with grandparents, the 3 kids and our dog. A fab location with everything you need close by. The kids loved it! The hot tub was amazing and the views from the house were incredible. A lovely walk down to the beach from the house too. Beds super comfy and the whole place was lovely and clean with a cream tea ready for us on arrival 😊 thanks so much for having us

Gill, what can I say, your lodge is simply beautiful. The stunning views from the hot tub, the bed is super comfy. Absolutely no negative feedback at all. It was amazing. Gill is so friendly & welcoming. The lodge was immaculately clean and smelt so fresh walking in. We saw bunny’s and lots of robins! Thankyou for a perfect 2 day stay.

The Lost Cabin was a beautiful, stylish and pristine space. Very cosy even in mid-winter, we were always comfortable. David was most friendly and we'd love to stay again.

Great few days in one of the lodges. The place was warm and cosy (even in January!). Lovely grounds and opportunity for walks. Freedom for dogs to run around. Pool was a highlight, heated appropriately so one could enjoy the swim. Hot tub and sauna were also great. Thank you!

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely beautiful stay in the cabin! Well equipped and lovely people/animals. Gorgeous dark sky reserve area - we saw our first shooting stars and got use of the woodfired tub! Everything was perfect including the cake!! Lookout spot round the corner has reception on route to one of the amazing places to go in the area. Thank you both, wish you and the farm the best!

Our family (from the UK and Canada) had a weekend reconnecting at Woodpecker Lodge. It fitted the bill perfectly. The lodge was spacious and in immaculate condition. Our dog had a wonderful time on many varied walks and the humans enjoyed the hot tub Matt and Pru were wonderful hosts and I would thoroughly recommend Woodpecker Lodge as a detox from everyday life. As well as the stunning local scenery, there are also many excellent restaurants in the area. I

If you're looking for a peaceful escape, this is the perfect spot! Nestled in the stunning Devonshire hills, this beautifully fitted out shepherd’s hut offers a serene setting just a short drive from many beautiful attractions. If you're lucky, you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from the comfort of your bed! At times it was hard to leave the hut for this very reason! And the burner kept me warm and cozy during the chilly early March evenings/mornings. I wasn’t quite brave enough to try out the outdoor bath, though thought it was a lovely idea! During my stay, I visited Croyde Beach and had an unforgettable experience at the Saunton Sands Hotel spa, followed by a lovely long walk on the beach watching the sun go down. I also had a wonderful meal at New Coast Kitchen in Croyde. Simon is an excellent host – very helpful and easy to communicate with. Thanks so much - I had a tip top stay and hope to return! Fran 🙂
