Amazing views, huge waves, lovely place to be whatever the weather. Very warm, large living area. Great communication from hosts. Nobody in the apartment beneath us but it feels really solid so don't think we'd hear each other very much and there's always the sound of the sea. The biggest bed ever and really comfortable. Large 60/40 fridge-freezer. Very clean and well presented.

We stayed for 3 nights in February 2025 and have to say the place was fantastic. You are 5 to 10 mins walk from the Chichester arms pub up the hill which was opened in 1820 and is a great little local pub. You are about 15 to 20 mins walk from woolacombe village that has a lot of pubs and restaurants. It also has a great beach. The Sunday dinner at the Chichester arms is really nice as well. There is space for one car for each apartment with 2 spare spaces as well so plenty of room for your car. you also get access to an outside cupboard and outside tap which is useful to wash off any sand from the beach. The view from the master bedroom and the living area is fantastic as you look straight out onto the sea and if weather is nice you get a great view of the sunset. Would recommend this apartment to anyone as the standard throughout was excellent and as described on the advertisement. Chris was a great host with no issues at all.

The apartment was first class. Nice and roomy, very clean, all the amenities you need, lovely view, comfy bed and a real home from home. A lot of care and attention has gone into this place and it shows. It’s well decorated and well thought through. Lovely to wake up in and made our stay very enjoyable…

This was SUCH a beautifully clean and well presented apartment! The sea view from the main front window is a bonus. Everything was just as described and SPOTLESSLY clean. Sheila has done such a great job of keeping the apartment extremely well maintained and it is the perfect balance of homely but not over cluttered. Response was immediate and we had no issues at all. There is a nice Weatherspoons pub and a lovely Italian restaurant all within seconds from the front door. We were walking the coastal path so it was a joy to come back to a warm cosy flat. There are DVD's to enjoy and a large TV with lots of channels. Internet connection was perfect. No noise from other people in the flats. It is on the top floor so you have no-one to hear above you. Everything was simply 110%. One of the best Air BnB's we have stayed in for comfort and cleanliness.

Amazing place - close to the beach and some fab walks! We hardly had the TV on as we loved sitting in the window looking at the boats go by and listening to the sea! It was perfect!

Lovely stay in Appledore. Accommodation was very nice, and location was perfect. We were so lucky with the weather and managed some great walks.

Really cute and snug accommodation. Very cosy. Comfortable. Everything was modern and clean cut. 30 minute walk to the harbour. Ilfracombe quiet at the moment but things to do. Would recommend Robert's snug any time.

Absolutely stunning and spacious apartment. Hands down the best we’ve stayed in down South with the views, and I absolutely love the grey with accent orange. Everything seems brand new, and you could easily house 3 couples or two families within the apartment. There’s lots to do, especially during the summer holidays. The beach is reasonable and we preferred Woolacombe purely as it is more child friendly and only 15 mins away. Michelle is an absolutely amazing host and is hands down the most approachable person we’ve encountered on the Air B&B platform.

A really fantastic place to stay. Every member of the family loved it. This was a house that you wanted to hang out in and felt really home from home. High quality and immaculate. Loved the location and the peace and quiet!

Rented for a family celebration. Excellent size and amenities. The few problems encountered were resolved immediately and in a very friendly manner

Very comfortable accommodation, well equipped kitchen. Everything was clean and in good condition, a well cared for home with lovely seaside themed decor. We felt relaxed the minute we walked in. The garden has good seating to enjoy the river view. Both bedrooms had storage and comfortable beds, lovely bedding too. Good shower over the bath. The night light on the landing was a great idea. A few mins walk to a car park where we could pay hourly or for the whole trip - very convenient. I noticed weekly parking passes are available from the council. A lovely walk over the bridge to the town centre and park - enjoyed parkrun here on Saturday morning. Plenty of pubs, restaurants and shops, wished we were staying longer to explore more. Would love to return.

We had the most wonderful stay in Appledore. The hosting was top notch, with prompt replies and really supportive responses to my requests, as I was travelling with a relative with health issues. The house is beautiful, everything you could need and so stylish. I have taken lots of inspiration from the interiors for my own house! And the location is incredible with a magnificent sea view and great pubs, restaurants, cafes and a deli nearby. Appledore is a gem of a village, I had not heard of it before this trip. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Edd and Andrea for enabling my parents and I to have such a special and memorable stay.

What a comfortable place! It was really well appointed and had everything we needed. Plenty of storage and well equipped kitchen. Wendy is very friendly and helpful too. I especially liked the eco friendly shampoo and conditioner provided (the bottles can be refilled too) and the availability of a compost pot for food waste. We really could have stayed a month if we did not have to get back. The view over the estuary from the bedroom is beautiful and constantly changing with the tide, light and weather. The place is really quiet too, I was concerned that there might be road noise from the nearby bridge but there was remarkably little even when outside the property and none at all inside

Nice little chalet. It's a bit of a walk down to the sea (we didn't walk it because we were told the recent rain had washed out some of the path so we drove to a nearby beach).

Amazingly well equipped and awesome views of woolacombe beach. Had a great stay and Chris was very quick to respond and incredibly helpful. Can’t recommend enough!

Perfect apartment for a stay in Woolacombe. We felt spoilt being so close to the beach with amazing views. The flat is equipped with everything you need and Chris was friendly and generous. We loved our time here and would absolutely stay again.

we had a wonderful few days at Julie's apartment for my daughters birthday. the apartment was comfortable, clean and had stunning views. Julie even left a birthday present for my daughter which was really Thoughtful

What a great place. Adrienne was a wonderful host. The place was very close to the beach and restaurants. It was cosy and had a south facing balcony.

Absolutely loved our stay at oceanside. Lovely clean apartment with stunning views, good communication from host and we loved exploring ilfracombe. Parking is available on the street but you’d have to wait to get a space, otherwise ropery car park is close. Our only suggestion would be to cover above the balcony - so on the rainy days (we had a couple) you can still sit outside. Would definitely come again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Penthouse. A great apartment to stay in. Where do we start. The beds were super comfortable, views were breathtaking, the apartment decor was described by our 9 year old as "super cool" If you are looking for a break away to Ilfracombe, look no further.

This was our second stay at this property because we think its fantastic. Even in winter the view is amazing across the estuary and the place was warm and cosy. We even got a top up of logs for the wood burner. We love this place and will come again I'm sure.

Great spot with an amazing view of Baggy Point and Lundy Island. Would definitely stay here again - comfy beds, good cooking facilities, and an open, spacious living area. The view from the balcony is quite something. Our only slight criticism was there were dog hairs on the floor and in the carpet, which triggered my allergy a bit. But otherwise it was very clean.

A well-appointed apartment situated in the picturesque town. I visited in February 2025, although the weather was somewhat chilly outside, the apartment was exceptionally warm and provided all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable and at home. The apartment was immaculate, with comfortable beds and ample space. The host provided excellent communication and was very accommodating during my check-out, allowing us additional time due to my mother’s disabilities. I highly recommend this apartment for a relaxing and rejuvenating break, especially with its breathtaking views of the Cornish coastline. I look forward to returning in the future and experiencing the tranquility of this winter retreat once again. Thank you for making my winter break so relaxing and memorable.
