We had a wonderful stay! Very close to the beach and park. Our 3 year old had a blast with the toys and books! LOTS of extra conveniences - they thought of everything. You really only need to pack your clothes - they have everything else covered. Even our dog had the conveniences of home. The mattresses were very comfortable. The outdoor shower was clean and very helpful. We would also recommend renting the golf cart - super handy! All and all a great place to stay.

I cannot say enough about this place and the hosts. The home was lovely. The hosts have put so much thought into outfitting the guest house. The location is a little slice of heaven. My husband and I were looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This home and farm allowed us to exhale and enjoy the beauty of Cape Charles and the Eastern Shore of VA. We left refreshed and grateful to Thomas, Erin, and their beautiful family.

We had a great stay on a cold March weekend. We didn’t use our car at all and we were able to walk everywhere with 2 kids Host was very responsive, understanding, and accommodating. I loved that there were plenty of extra towels and bedding. The home was very well stocked. The downstairs gets a bit cold if it’s cold out but the space heater helped a lot. My only minor suggestion would be a drying rack in the kitchen. We will be back!

The perfect weekend getaway! The laughing king felt like a home away from home, and the hospitality was the cherry on top! We will definitely be back!!:)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this quaint little cabin on Arlington farms. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the sweetest dog named Buddy, accompanied by his smaller friend, Kodak, who happily showed us the way to the cabin. It was such a charming welcome ! Paul, our host, was incredibly kind and friendly. The cabin totaled was cozy and perfect, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. We couldn’t recommend this place more - thank you again for having us !

Great spring break getaway to Cape Charles. The house was perfect for group of 7 and our dog. The kids bunk room and game barn were both big hits with our 3 kids. The house is also convenient to the beach, park, playground, shops and restaurants. We’d definitely rent again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is a three minute walk to the beach and a three minute walk to downtown. The outdoor shower was so useful for rinsing off sandy beach feet before entering the house. The beds were very comfortable and the HVAC system kept us very comfortable during a few particularly hot days during our stay. We had a couple questions prior to our trip and the host was quick to respond each time. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was a very peaceful location. I truly appreciate the fenced backyard, the solitude, and of course the local coffee! The home was pristine and welcoming, and we had everything we needed. The area was a great place to get away. We traveled to Norfolk twice, and spent time in the Cape Charles downtown. We had no trouble with wireless connections and streaming. The Food Lion was close by for groceries, and when we asked the hosts about a particular kitchen tool, the response and delivery of the tool was immediate! It was a lovely vacation, and if we go back to the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to book the same home.

House was great and in a great location. We had two families of four and there was plenty of room for everyone. Close proximity to the local park/playground, beach, and restaurants/stores. Off street parking was a plus. Highly recommend and will likely book this house again for future vacations.
