Lovely, homely cottage in a great location for exploring the rest of the Cotswolds. The Killingworth Castle (cosy local gastropub) is just a 5 min walk away from the property. A perfect base for a long weekend in the country.

A great stay in Adam’s gorgeous house. Kitchen was really well equipped, beds comfy and great shower. The village is really pretty and Stamford only a short drive away. Would definitely recommend; we were 4 friends but would be great for a couple of families too.

amazing stay really private and hit tub was really nice, relaxing with the log burner and Sylvia even made a homemade cake for us included in the birthday package, got the flowers requested and decorated really nicely including a bottle of champagne! really nice house would definitely stay again!

Our weekend at Mount Pleasant Barns was nothing short of magical! Nestled in the heart of the countryside, this beautiful retreat offered the perfect mix of relaxation and luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning surroundings, rolling fields, and the peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights was seeing the adorable baby lambs in the nearby fields and made the stay even more special! After being out all day exploring the surrounding areas (there are so many places to visit) and enjoying the fresh air, we couldn’t have asked for a better way to unwind than soaking in the hot tub under the stars. It was pure bliss! The barn itself was beautifully designed, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It’s a slice of heaven and we can’t wait for our next visit in December.

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Mark and Sarah were very friendly and super helpful! The home was spotless and very cosy, the hot tub was an absolute must. The instructions provided were very useful and there was plenty of suggestions for what to do in the area. Thank you for the welcome gifts and for the great hospitality, we would definitely come back!

This was our second time staying at Jo’s place, and for good reason… it’s perfect! Very clean, beautiful location and well-equipped cottage. We’ll be booking again for trip number 3!

What a gem of a find!! The cottage is quaint & cosy but with all mod cons and lovely comfortable beds & pillows. There was a very generous welcome package, with tea, coffee, sugar, milk & biscuits, not to mention, dishwasher & laundry capsules, washing up liquid, kitchen roll & plenty of toilet rolls and a large tub of logs for the fire. These mighty not seem important but in my experience they are often lacking and they were much appreciated. Alan responsed promptly to a couple of questions I had and we tried out 2 of his restaurant recommendations, which were in the cottage information folder, both of which were lovely. I wouldn't hesitate to come back and don't be put off by the 2nd bedroom being described as 'more suitable for children', it is small but my 21 & 18 yr old daughters managed perfectly in there for a couple of nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Brill and this little cottage is a gem, right in the heart of the village. It was exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. The communications from Christopher and Emma were clear and timely and the joining and checkout instructions were clear and understandable. It’s a beautiful little cottage and we will certainly look to stay again next time we are in Brill.

The property is well thought out and very comfortable. On street parking was no problem and right in front of the house. Everything is well appointed and it’s a great base from which to explore the area. The welcome pack was very generous and we really appreciated the delicious homemade bread,eggs, milk and orange juice. A real treat on arrival. We want to explore the area further and would like to book again.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We absolutely loved our stay at 'the Piggery' We could not have wished to stay anywhere better. The cottage was very well located for our visit to Leicester and the perfect place to come back to and relax after a busy day. It was spacious yet cosy and spotlessly clean. The decor was very stylish and luxurious with super comfy sofas. The hot tub was a welcome addition. Thank you Emma, you have created a beautiful luxury place to stay and we look forward to returning very soon on our next visit to Leicester.

Absolutely perfect stay!! We loved this cottage so much and such lovely village. Jo went out of her way to make the cottage amazing! We had lots of delicious treats left 😃 we will definitely be coming back to stay again! Thank you so so much Jo and hope you all had a fab Christmas 🎄

Hannah and Vincent were exceptional hosts. The little cottage has been very well thought out. Everything you need and more. The lovely wood burner just added to the cozy feel of the place. Lots of extras like, cleaning products, plenty of toilet paper, kitchen roll, bathroom products, shower gel, shampoo etc. Plenty of soft fluffy towels. Hannah dropped off extra bedding as we were staying for 1 month, a small bin for the bathroom and bin bags and a very nice bottle of wine! Tea, coffee with a great coffee machine. Walking distance to some great pubs and restaurants. Two local supermarkets, fab butcher, bakers and some very nice coffee shops. In easy reach of Daylesford organic, Diddly squat farm shop and lots more. For anyone travelling by car will need to look at parking times, Hannah sent helpful instructions, but like us you can easily travel by train to Kingham station and get a taxi ( we used A1 taxis in chipping Norton, really reliable and friendly service) Recommend 5*

Beautiful cottage in a quiet location just off the main High Street. Lovely interior decoration and nice little touches throughout. Highly recommended.

Lovely hosts who sent more detailed directions on how to find the property. The house was immaculately clean with good amenities. Beautiful and spacious house in a beautiful location not far from Warwick and Stratford.

A lovely bolt hole for a weekend getaway from the stresses of life. Cosy and everything you need. Great to have a fully-fitted kitchen making it easy to prepare food too! I’m sure we’ll be back 🙂
