We loved our stay, it was a perfect weekend getaway in the countryside. Lynden was a lovely and welcoming host, the cabin was cosy, and the hot tub and fire pit was perfect for relaxing on an evening. Would recommend to friends and family and would go back for another short escape

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb for my partners 30th, lots of beautiful places around but all was about 20/30mins drive. Jonathan and his partner were very lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome and was very responsive to any questions we needed to ask. It’s a beautiful peaceful place to stay, the hot tub was lovely, Jonathan helped set it up for us and got us a travel cot as we had a 1 year old with us. Only thing was we found there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, we did bring our own so was no issue. The hosts gave us recommendations of local areas and restaurants nearby we went to the blue boar which was very lovely. Overall was a really nice weekend break!

I loved it so much I have booked to go again, disappointed that the prices are higher. However it was the perfect break that I needed.

We had the most beautiful weekend here, the cottage annex was so cosy and Sally had thought of absolutely everything in terms of amenities. We really didn’t have to worry about a thing! Sally provided lots of recommendations with maps, leaflets and even takeaway menu’s! We enjoyed following the public footpath’s, trialling local pubs and visiting Shaw’s corner. The hot tub was a lovely addition and super easy to use and spotlessly clean, Sally took us through everything. We will be recommending this place to everybody, thanks for a ‘killer’ weekend Sally ;)

Fred's place was the perfect place for our getaway with friends last weekend. Everything was spotless and there was plenty of space for us all to relax together in multiple different views. We were lucky to have nice weather which made the views from the place amazing. Thank you very much for a great stay, would definitely recommend staying to anyone else

Lizzy's place was wonderful. We were only there for a weekend and I would love to go back for a longer stay. There was plenty of space and the hot tub was a bonus. The property is also close to some very pretty villages and towns - highly recommended!

Grrat couple of days in the Cotswolds. Stephanie was a fantastic host and the house had everything that we needed. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a group stay.

Great place. Very clean. Very quiet at night. Lots of seating in lounge (although not as shown in photos, so slightly lower than the recliners shown which may be difficult for disabled people like me who need high seating). Paddock is a bonus for dog owners as there are no safe walks direct from property. We were 2 couples and it was great to have the privacy of separate entrances - although everyone preferred the fab downstairs shower room! Super bird watching opportunities from the back windows. Weather was not on our side but the outside table etc. looked great.

This was our second stay and we hope to come back. So comfortable and quiet. Super walks for the dogs and a great place to come back to chill out. Thank you Mary

The Hosts were quick to respond to our queries ahead of our visit. Got the impression they want you to have an enjoyable and stress free stay in their property. We felt immediately at home with all the lovely Xmas decs they had adorned the cottage with, which added to the already cozy atmosphere. Welcomed by a delicious cake from the local bakery too!, which was a lovely touch. Would really recommend Bee Cottage in Cottesmore. So much to see and do/walk around the area. Friendly pub 5 mins away too and a fabulous special dinner out at the Olive Branch Restaurant in Clipsham. Thank you to Steve and Hanri! Hilary and Chris

This was booked a few weeks before we stayed and suited us to the ground. Bicester Village was the perfect place close by to get to Oxford by train. Easy to get to Blenheim Palace for their opening Christmas Weekend and Festival of illuminations. The Property had everything you could wish for, air Fryer, Washer, Dryer, Dishwasher, Fridge etc Christmas really did start early for as we were leaving with over an inch of snow on the Green and then 2 hours driving home in a Blizzard.

The Old Forge was a beautiful property in stunning surroundings. We loved the fact we were able to enjoy the lovely outdoor space at the cottage. No matter what time of the day there was always a sunny spot to sit out & enjoy. Being only a mile out of Stow was perfect for other amenities, shopping & plenty of pubs/restaurants. The property was perfect for us 2 couples. Plenty of space & well equipped.

David is great host - friendly and welcoming. He was very flexible and accommodating with my long stay booking. And very responsive when I needed help with fixing a problem. Many thanks, David.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We wanted somewhere to stay as a family to celebrate a special birthday which falls on Christmas Day and this was perfect in every way. The house is really, really lovely with plenty of space to enjoy spending time together in really comfortable and well-equipped surroundings - exactly as in the photos with lots of additional, thoughtful touches not even mentioned in the description. Caroline is a fantastic communicator and her instructions and local guide are really well written so we had everything we needed to help us enjoy our stay. Any questions we did have were responded to almost instantly. Finally, Hook Norton (or Hooky as we now know it!) is a lovely, picturesque village and there are local shops and pubs within a short walk so it's ideal if you don't want to drive anywhere. We can thoroughly recommend the brewery tour and the pub quiz at the Pear Tree Inn, both a convenient stroll home after a couple of pints of Hooky!

Patricia's home is lovely, warm and cozy. We booked at the last minute so that our family could spend Christmas together. We appreciated the lovely welcome and provision of staples like milk, butter, tea, coffee, juice and also crusty bread. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a full Christmas dinner with ease. Patricia had even gone to the trouble to decorate her home for Christmas for us, which was very special. We all enjoyed our time together there. It is a bonus to have a full bathroom and an extra toilet for a family, too. The setting in the park is peaceful and welcoming and there are nice walks around the woods and lakes; our dog loved it, too. This is a wonderful place to stay in every way and Patricia is a very thoughtful and accommodating host. Thank you!

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Brilliant barn, land and location. The perfect stay for a get together with friends and really good value for money.

We had a relaxing long weekend. The cottage was easy to find with parking. It had a lovely private fenced garden that allowed our two little dogs to wander. It was bright, airy, very clean, comfortable and warm. The wine was a lovely surprise on arrival thank you ☺️. It was home from home. It was very central to places to visit. With Didley squat farm shop and Chipping Norton only a 7 minute drive away. Thank you Nicky for making us feel welcome.

Everything was perfect for us, we were truly blown away when we arrived and looked round. Highly highly recommend

We really enjoyed our stay, such a beautiful location and only a short drive away from the Cotswolds Water Park. The cottage is lovely with really unique original features (and also more modern comforts) whilst also being welcoming and cosy, we especially loved the log fires on the colder evenings. However, the main attraction for us was that it is such a dog friendly location and was ideal for bringing our dog Barney with us as it has hard floors throughout the downstairs and also has a secure, private garden solely used by the cottage.

The Cow Pen Cottage was an adorable little place in the quietest of settings. We used the hot tub and pool, which were both great, and what we needed after a busy few days getting married. Wendy was an amazing host, the most friendly and proactive host we’ve experienced while using air bnb. Everything was as described it was extremely cosy. I would recommend cow pen to others and would happily stay again.
