Katherine was a fantastic host, very happy to let us park at her place before checking in so we could explore Oxford. We were left a couple of croissants and cereal for breakfast which was a lovely touch. The Perch pub was lovely and a good recommendation. Everything we needed was left for us.

We loved our stay at Greengage Hut! Lower Nill Farm is beautiful and the location is great, with lots to do and great walks in the local area. Johnathan and Jenny were super responsive hosts and really helpful, especially with the hot tub and bbq! Their place is the perfect for a weekend getaway, and the hut has everything you could need, we felt right at home and couldn't recommend it more! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

We loved our stay, it was a perfect weekend getaway in the countryside. Lynden was a lovely and welcoming host, the cabin was cosy, and the hot tub and fire pit was perfect for relaxing on an evening. Would recommend to friends and family and would go back for another short escape

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb for my partners 30th, lots of beautiful places around but all was about 20/30mins drive. Jonathan and his partner were very lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome and was very responsive to any questions we needed to ask. It’s a beautiful peaceful place to stay, the hot tub was lovely, Jonathan helped set it up for us and got us a travel cot as we had a 1 year old with us. Only thing was we found there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, we did bring our own so was no issue. The hosts gave us recommendations of local areas and restaurants nearby we went to the blue boar which was very lovely. Overall was a really nice weekend break!

Very close to, just 15 minutes, but out of the sprawl of Oxford; in beautiful farmland with fabulous walks and charming pubs, rivers for dipping into. Beautifully decorated space with everything one needs, quietly located in the corner of a field. Really comfortable bed with cushions, perfect place to read, with good light and a window. Recommend local-ish Mason Arms for relaxed coffee and papers. Good shower and thoughtful makeup mirrors in communal bathroom. Very quick response (booked hours before!) and kind and welcoming welcome.

A truly magical getaway! This place is an absolute gem by the water - peaceful, beautiful, and full of little surprises. We were greeted by swans and ducks each day, which felt like something out of a fairytale. The hosts were incredibly kind and supportive, making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed a stunning BBQ at sunset and relaxed in the jacuzzi under the stars - it was simply unforgettable. The setting is unbelievable, like a hidden paradise that you can’t believe actually exists. We saw horses every day and even visited the nearby Safari Park, which added to the magic of the trip. To top it all off, we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate our anniversary - such a thoughtful touch. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and so grateful. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with a bit of magic.

Lovely little cabin in the woods, we had a great stay here over New Year. Milan was very helpful and came to see if we needed anything, although we didn't as the cabin is comfortable and well stocked already. We would certainly come again!

It is bigger than you think with more than enough space for me and two children. We will definitely be back for some more peaceful nights away.

We had the most amazing three-night glamping stay at Elliott’s Rectory Farm’s Shepherd’s Hut! It was the perfect mix of peaceful countryside vibes and cozy comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed. The farm, once a working dairy for generations, is a beautiful, quiet retreat in rolling fields with the sounds of nature. It really felt like stepping away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The Hut was fantastic—charming, warm, and thoughtfully designed. The wood-burning stove was a lifesaver on the chilly February nites, made it feel extra cozy and the bed sooo comfy. A few steps away, a private bath and shower were super modern and spotless, a nice surprise for a glamping setup. In the evenings, we sat outside by the fire cauldron with a warm drink, watching the stars and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The perfect way to end each day. It is a relaxing escape that captures the charm of the English countryside. Dreaming of our next stay!

Lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful location with private garden. Merriscourt Team were very helpful and responsive and the hut had all amenities for an overnight stay while attending local festival.

Der Aufenthalt in der Shepherds Hut war großartig. Sharon und ihr Mann waren sehr nette, zurückhaltende Gastgeber. Sie Hütte war genau wie angepriesen mitten in der Natur und es war alles da, was man benötigt. Sogar volles Equipment zum Grillen und einige grundsätzliche Dinge wie Tee/Kaffee, Kekse, etc. Es war ein rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing location, such a hidden gem. We were fortunate that the weather was nice during our stay, and the sky was clear in the evening, so we could see all the stars whilst in the hot tub. Hot tub is a must here, worth every penny. The hut itself was very cosy, clean and beautiful. We were late checking in, and the host Helen kindly gave us extra hours to check out, which we thought it was very kind. Totally recommend this place, and the host. Thank you for letting us stay at your hut. It was magical x

Clean accommodation with cosy, decorative features. There was also a thoughtful addition of wine and flowers upon arrival. The Shepherds hut is a quiet and peaceful location, ideal as a base for visiting nearby Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick. I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful place for a weekend getaway. We had a wonderful, albeit short, weekend break at Rachel's Shepherds hut. It was perfect for our two small dogs with an enclosed garden area, and we absolutely loved the location. You can walk endlessly around the stunning local countryside. Will definitely be back!

Tamsin is a host that every Airbnb operator should strive to be. She was super friendly, worked very hard to ensure we could check in 3 hours early , had the hot tub ready for us on arrival and called to ensure we got there ok. Hut was spotlessly clean with all listed ammenties available, plenty of wood provided for the wood stoves and lots of blankets on the bed. Tamsin checked in with us to ensure we were enjoying our stay and helped out lighting the stoves when we struggled with them. Tamsin, thank you for a lovely stay and being super attentive, we very much appreciated it! We will definetely be staying again.

A truly magical escape. I stayed at the shepherd’s hut for a solo reset and it was everything I needed and more. The space is beautifully thought out—cosy, peaceful, and perfectly connected to nature. Waking up to birdsong and watching the sun set from the hot tub were highlights, and I loved how open and light the space felt with the doors flung wide. It’s incredibly private but still has everything you need for comfort and ease.

We have just arrived home after our stay at the hut, what a wonderful place to spend the weekend! Absolutely amazing throughout our time there. The attention to detail was great, Bryony had thought of everything there is to offer! The bed was incredibly comfortable, towels & robes provided too! The hot tub was lush, logs & manual provided, this was also lit on arrival. She also kindly decorated for my partner as it was his birthday, everything was just perfect from start to finish. We didn’t want to leave! We will ABSOLUTELY be returning, I highly recommend staying here to anyone who is looking for a peaceful get away!! It felt like heaven😍. Thankyou so much again, we will see you in the future!!

We had a lovely peaceful stay here for our birthday! The bath took a bit of working out to get the right temperature but we were lovely and warm in the end despite it being 1°c outside - thankfully there were bathrobes for us to use which was perfect! The canal and a little shop are literally 2min walk from the hut and we went to a nice pub just down the road (the admiral nelson) - you can either walk down the road or the canal to get there. Our dogs loved the paddock and cosy fire 🔥 Thank you so much 😊

We absolutely loved staying in the Shepherd’s hut for a sunny spring weekend. Everything was as described and well kitted out. The location is dreamy and loved waking up to the sheep outside our window each morning. We had breakfast in the cafe on site and did a few local walks which were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return

We had the best time. The location was absolutely amazing, so beautiful and remote, and also very near to lots of beautiful towns and villages! There is also a lovely farm shop and cafe round the corner. The sunset you can see from the Shepherd's hut is also stunning. The accommodation itself was everything we wanted - cosy, warm and clean.
