Katherine was a fantastic host, very happy to let us park at her place before checking in so we could explore Oxford. We were left a couple of croissants and cereal for breakfast which was a lovely touch. The Perch pub was lovely and a good recommendation. Everything we needed was left for us.

Very well appointed, comfortable and spotlessly clean chalet on the outskirts of Huntingdon ideally placed to explore the area.

5 stars all round. Highly recommended. This was a great place to stay. An easy walk from the train station (<10 min). In the centre of Charlbury, only minutes from nice pubs, restaurants and the local co-op, but still very peaceful and quiet. In a lovely garden with own outside deck and table. Bright and airy. Spacious enough for two. Good shower. Comfortable king bed with crisp linen. Cozy and comfortable sitting room. Charlbury is a beautiful town with easy train and bus links to London, Oxford, Woodstock (Blenheim), etc. And gorgeous surrounding countryside with great walks. Martin and Helena were generous friendly hosts. We really appreciated a late check out so that we could enjoy a leisurely countryside walk on our last morning. Many thanks!

We loved our stay, it was a perfect weekend getaway in the countryside. Lynden was a lovely and welcoming host, the cabin was cosy, and the hot tub and fire pit was perfect for relaxing on an evening. Would recommend to friends and family and would go back for another short escape

Perfect for our short stay in Milton Keynes, hut was lovely and was nice to have some tea and biscuit provisions. Easy check in and a beautiful area to be set up at. Hut is right next to the farm house and store. Fortunately we had no noise from either. Overall very pleased, only slight issue was that the bathroom fan wasn't working (or we couldn't work out how to turn it on) so it got very humid in there, some signs of mould but could be related to the fan so I'm sure will get fixed soon.

We had a lovely stay at this Airbnb for my partners 30th, lots of beautiful places around but all was about 20/30mins drive. Jonathan and his partner were very lovely hosts, made us feel very welcome and was very responsive to any questions we needed to ask. It’s a beautiful peaceful place to stay, the hot tub was lovely, Jonathan helped set it up for us and got us a travel cot as we had a 1 year old with us. Only thing was we found there was no shower gel or shampoo in the bathroom, we did bring our own so was no issue. The hosts gave us recommendations of local areas and restaurants nearby we went to the blue boar which was very lovely. Overall was a really nice weekend break!

Overall, accommodation was great and everything went well. Things that I would like to point out. List of amenities these things are not correct. 1. Carbon monoxide alarm for the fireplace. The bedroom is not operational which is a hazard. 2. Coffee machine was not there. We asked and we were kindly given a jar instant coffee. 3. Outdoor to dining area doesn't exist. there is ourdoor furniture but not a dining area. 4. Outdoor kitchen doesn't exist either. They are correct, there is a BBQ as mentioned on the amenities , but that is not a outdoor kitchen. 5. I understand there is no Wi-Fi available. Which would I was okay with as I have 50GB of data. What I was not aware is that the location is in a virtually a signal dead zone there was one spot that we had to go to , if we wanted to receive our Whats-App messages. I would see this as an important thing to mention to people. Lastly , we had the lovely couple who lived at the corner who were available when we needed to ask questions.

I had a wonderful stay! I was travelling on my own and felt safe the whole time especially with Catherine living on site, so lovely and welcoming. Beautiful views and walks to local towns and restaurants. Thankyou so much! Will be booking to stay again.

Our stay at The Stable was superb! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect retreat—peaceful, cosy, and just right for us and our three dogs. Our host, Karen, had placed a well-stocked welcome basket of provisions, including fresh eggs, milk, bread and more…The enclosed garden was a fantastic bonus, allowing our dogs to run safely while we relaxed. It has everything you could need for a stress-free getaway. The studio-style layout felt spacious and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely little dining area, and a super comfy bed. One of our favourite things? The large patio doors opened straight onto the decking, where we could sit with a coffee (or a glass or two of wine) and take in the country fresh air. The location couldn’t have been better—secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet just a short drive from Stratford-upon-Avon and the stunning Cotswolds. A massive thank you to Karen, who was an exceptional host!

We had a lovely weekend at Otter’s Holt, such a beautiful, peaceful space. The pod had absolutely everything we needed and more, and the outside area was even better than we expected - we loved sitting out in the sunshine surrounded by birdsong! The area around the village was great for walking, and we’d definitely recommend Amy’s place for a lovely weekend away. We originally booked to come in February but unfortunately were unable to come due to illness, but Amy was really accommodating and kindly allowed us to shift our dates. Amy was really responsive throughout our communication with her, and made us feel really comfortable during our stay!

Mia and family made us feel very welcome on our stay. They went out of their way to talk to us about their farm animals and provided feed for us to feed them ourselves. It really felt a home from home stay and we loved the complimentary bottle on arrival. They couldn’t do any more to make our stay special and would 100% recommend a visit

We really enjoyed our stay in the Pod and would go again. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. It makes a great base for exploring the area, especially Stratford itself. Kirsty was very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The shepherds hut was beautiful. So clean, cosy and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. The surroundings were beautiful and we loved watching the lambs in the field next to us…the chickens came to say hello too! We will definitely come back again and recommend Georgina’s cute shepherds hut for the perfect relaxing get away! Thank you ☺️

We absolutely loved staying in the Shepherd’s hut for a sunny spring weekend. Everything was as described and well kitted out. The location is dreamy and loved waking up to the sheep outside our window each morning. We had breakfast in the cafe on site and did a few local walks which were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return

A night away with the wife for our 2nd wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend peaceful and relaxing just what we needed. Definitely will be back soon. Facilities were excellent surroundings area beautiful. Sitting on the decking enjoying the lake and watching the geese and birds.

A lovely and very practical hut, with everything you need for your stay. We experienced a cosy and warm atmosphere. A memorable place where you'll have the perfect break. Karen is a great host and we are really grateful.

Had a lovely 3 nights stay in Jeremy’s sheep shed. Beautiful shed in a beautiful rural location. Very well hosted and the information given on places to visit nearby was a nice touch. Would love to stay again.

Amazing location, such a hidden gem. We were fortunate that the weather was nice during our stay, and the sky was clear in the evening, so we could see all the stars whilst in the hot tub. Hot tub is a must here, worth every penny. The hut itself was very cosy, clean and beautiful. We were late checking in, and the host Helen kindly gave us extra hours to check out, which we thought it was very kind. Totally recommend this place, and the host. Thank you for letting us stay at your hut. It was magical x

We had a wonderful stay. So peaceful and perfect to go and relax for an evening after a busy week or working. The views were stunning and facilities were great! We will defo be back in summer!!! X

We stayed the night for my birthday and had the best experience staying with Melissa and Marie-Clare; would highly recommend their pod! Wonderful hosts.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience! When booking I looked at pictures and was the exact same in person had a cosy feel to it , the view was beautiful in the snow. There was a heater for cold weather and it made the cabin so warm, we also had lots of extra blankets! Jackie offered help where needed , so helpful with where to eat and offered food if I couldn’t get any. She was very responsive and friendly with directions and enquiries. Would definitely book to go again ! Thank you very much Jackie.

Emma & Matts welcoming charm mixed with their beautifully hand made and created log cabin was exactly what we wanted. Our 14yr & 10yr old loved the tree trunk loft beds and the log burner finished it off what was an idyllic evening. Thank you we will come again and spread the word 🤓
