Great place, great hosts, value for money

Fantastic month long stay at this brilliant property in St Kilda. The house was so spacious and Kerri was such a welcoming host, cannot recommend this enough. Will hopefully be back again next year to stay in the same location!

Stunning house with everything that you need for a stay! We were here for a week and it was the best house in a really great location! Just a short stroll up to the markets and village and a 5 min drive to the city. Thanks for accomodating our last minute booking. We managed to book and check in the property within 1 hour!

Saeed's property was as described. Inside the house, there was ample space to relax and unwind. The house was clean and tidy and the BBQ was prepped and ready for use. The pool area was also clean and easy to access. The internal central heating worked really quickly when the night became cold. The house was set up with a swing, hammock, fooseball table as well as a few other games. Saeed was a helpful and responsive host, willing to accommodate us. I would mention that it is one large house on the property, separating guests from Saeed's family by an internal locked door (so noise could be heard from the other side of the door). The pool can also be seen from the entire house, so if you wanted privacy, this is probably not the accommodation for you.

Lovely stay that did exactly what we needed to with separate rooms and for travelling with a large car and trailer, super easy to park in spacious surrounds. Two minutes out onto the motorway into the city, so a good location too if you don’t need to be right in the middle of town and are self sufficient for food. Although the Keilor hotel wasn’t far for a beer and nice feed. Good stay!

Thank you Anna for sharing your interesting, fabulous, , iconic home. It was very large and comfortable with extensive crockery, cutlery and glassware, bed linen and towels. Exceptionally well equipped. We loved living in the 70’s and the beautiful outdoor area and pool was a bonus. My UK visiting cousins and I had a very relaxed and enjoyable time together in this lovely home and the area is great for the beach and the many Sandy cafes and restaurants, and of course the station.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants, shops and a variety of transport options. Well appointed kitchen. Comfortable beds.

Gorgeous old building with plenty of character in the perfect location for the international garden show! Karen’s studio has a great view of Carlton Gardens, is beautiful, restful with lovely breezes, and sooo many restaurants nearby (only a 5 minute stroll to Lygon street). A lovely cosy place to come home to. We had a wonderful visit, thank you!

Super nice stay at Christine’s place. Hard to beat such a great location! I stayed there with 2 colleagues and it was close to perfect! The unit is part of a 4 units house and it is spacious. As a fan of coffee, probably we miss a good coffee machine. And probably the beds of the 2 smaller rooms are not the best. But still these are just details and we fully enjoyed our stay! If we can, this is exactly where we would like to come back!

A fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. A street full of restaurants/ bars around the corner. Walking distance to many attractions ( the prison is worth a visit !! ). The apartment is exactly as described and Michelle was the perfect host. Always available, quick to respond to any questions and better than google for local information. Would highly recommend. 5*

We felt welcome the moment we stepped into Catherine’s place. It is beautifully furnished and spotlessly keen with extra touches which meant it more than met our expectation. After a month in Australia this was our last stay. We have come home with very happy memories. Catherine’ s place tops the bill for best Airbnb!

We had an amazing stay. Georgina is a very kind host, super reactive and flexible. Her apartment is very clean, nice and spacious. It is perfectly located in Melbourne in a quiet area with close transportation to go easily in the city center, and nice restaurants within walking distance.

Great host, very responsive and the place is very clean and cozy. The kids love the pool and we enjoyed watching the sunrise and hot air balloons every morning. Location is easily accessible to shops and trams if you want to explore the city. Great experience overall.

We enjoyed a quiet two night stay at Veronika’s unique house. The highlight was the main bedroom with the bath tub and open views to an amazing moss garden. The house had everything you would need and breakfast was also provided. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful and well kept but unfortunately the weather was a little too cold for us to jump in this time. Veronika was contactable and answered any questions during our stay but was very respectful of our privacy.

A perfect base for exploring the peninsula, the accommodation was luxurious, private and functional. It is situated in a delightful and quiet residential area, a very short walk down to the beach. Hosts instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Avila. The house is very spacious and comfortably accommodated our large group. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing short break. The location is literally a short walk of 5 minutes to the beach. Summer was very easy to deal with and the instructions regarding the premises were clearly outlined in the house manual.

This booking was for our annual girls' getaway, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Deepika was a responsive host, providing clear instructions that made our stay seamless. We were charmed by the peaceful surroundings, waking up to the delightful sounds of birdsong each morning. The freshly cut flowers, bottle of wine, and Anzac biscuits awaiting us were such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Our favorite spot, without a doubt, was the outdoor spa, where we spent countless relaxing hours. It was truly a memorable escape.

Outstanding house and gardens, so peaceful, historic and beautifully maintained. Has everything needed for a getaway with friends: huge heated indoor pool, tennis court, pool table, grand piano, luxurious four posters and a well equipped kitchen. Alan was able to meet us at check-in and is a very gracious host with great knowledge of the property's history, which he shared with intelligence and wit. Can't recommend the whole experience enough.

We booked blackwood for our wedding anniversary. I was looking for a lux 2 night escape that felt dreamy and romantic and this is exactly what we got! The king size bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was able to be made dark allowing us to have long sleep ins (which is something we never get!) the thoughtful touch of the cheese board came in very hand while taking a soak in the spa! The accomodation was situated right in the heart of sassafras which is home to lovely little cafes and specialty stores (although the town is very sleepy until 10am) If you are going to this area we recommend the bakery ‘Proserpina’! Amazing pastries 🥐 and ‘The pig and whistle’ was a great pub night out. Thank you for such lovely accommodation we had a very memorable weekend x
