The apartment is very well located at centre of Thimphu town. Most of the most important tourist spots and cafes. Also, being part of the main road (one-way), finding a local taxi is very easy almost at all points of the day. The apartment includes one large living room with a large bedroom and a large bathroom. Kitchen is part of the living room itself. The bedroom windows were facing west side and got ample sun in afternoons. Our host has equipped it with all the modern amenities like room heaters, microwave and water heater. There's a small quantity of cutlery for those who may like to cook (we didn't). We stayed only two nights but this apartment is perfectly suited for anyone looking for a longer stay in Thimphu. We highly recommend this host too.

We came with a group of 7 to Kolkata for a wedding. Prior to arrival, the host was extremely proactive and friendly to make sure everything was in order. We also had to rely last-minute on them picking a part of our group up from the airport. This was no problem at all. Food and tea were available at all times, though we were sometimes already stuffed from the functions. The hosts sacrificed their own bedroom so one of us with a broken foot could sleep downstairs. All these things were extremely appreciated. Moreover, all people present in the house are very friendly and great company. This place will make you feel right at home. Even though it’s located in a large city, the premise feels secluded and very safe. Surroundings are calm and allow for walks nearby. Highly recommended for large groups including couples. Most bedrooms have their own bathrooms. We wish the express our gratitude once more to the hosts for allowing us to have such a great time in Kolkata.

What's special about this place? EVERYTHING!! 1. Hospitality: to be honest ...it didn't feel like we were away from home for even once. The owners are very warm hearted, loving and take care of everything without even leaving anything to complain about. They even invited us in for traditional drink - Tongba (I am sorry, if i have murdered the spelling). It was really inspiring to see how they have preserved their traditional values like this. 2. Location: This place little bit off the main road which leads to the most amazing feature of this place - serenity. You will listen to the rooster at 4 in the morning, the moment sun rises , birds starts chirping. The impeccable view of sunrays falling on the kanchenjunga peak is beyond explanation. And the lush green surroundings with Rhododendrons all over the place will make you fall in love with this place. 3. Food: They cook the food with lot of love and nutrients. Although, sikkim is an organic state but their food quality will make you lick your fingers everytime you take a bite. Cleanliness: Sparkling clean!! That's all I want to say. I just want to give one example about how they took care of every teenie tiny thing when we were there: "They put one pair of scissors for cutting the coffee sachets in the room. " I have never seen such gesture anywhere. I just loved this place .

The peacefulness of the location was incredible. A symphony of birdsong filled the mornings, sometimes continuing into a delightful afternoon chorus. Breathtaking views of Shillong sprawled out below offered a constant visual refresh. The open spaces were throghly enjoyed by our little one. The fresh air and ample space were a toddler's paradise.

The place is peaceful and homely. I have stayed there for three days and felt like I am in home only. Kaniska’s father is a gem of a person. Uncle made an amazing food and offered us as when he saw we just had limited food for both of us! I did-not feel like I was not in my home! The place was so peaceful and warm with love! I would recommend this place to everyone! Thanks for having us over! :)

I had a wonderful stay with my family at Prashant's place. He stays in another state but ensured that our stay was perfect. With the last minute changes and other things he was very helpful. I strongly recommend this place. it's easily reachable yet is at a silent and peaceful location. The caretaker was also very responsive and helpful to all our requirements. Definitely staying here again!

The place gives a feel of traditional Kolkata house. Plus it is located in a ver upscale locality with proximity to various restaurants and sites. Thanks for hosting us.
