In town to attend a wedding, this house was perfect for my husband and I with our two adult children. The common living areas are downstairs with the three bedrooms upstairs. One full bathroom is upstairs and the other full bathroom is downstairs for convenience. Spacious, clean, and very nicely equipped-the little extras made it easy to see why Nick and Josh are super hosts. I would definitely stay here again.

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! Beautiful home right in wyman lake. Nice place is a really nice area. Check in was super easy and Amber was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you amber!

Chris was very communicative from the beginning. Very peaceful and quiet place. Overall, our experience was amazing. We highly recommend Chris and his place, if you want to have great gateway.

Emily's Place on Indian Lake was on point . The cabin was comfortable, well stocked and extremely clean !! Sitting in the woods was very relaxing. Watching the loons and ducks & stars at night was awesome !! Emily & Chris went out of their way to provide a list of things to do suggestions and places to eat in the area. Definitely a positive 5 star experience !!

I booked this winter stay for my husband's birthday weekend. I had hopes of us relaxing at a little getaway and adding some ice fishing for the guys. I could not have been more pleased, the guys walked out the downstairs door right onto the ice, the ladies were inside with the fireplace on doing crafts and simmering soups. The house was so clean, tidy and welcoming, just like I like my house to be for guests. We were all very comfortable and had plenty of room. You could easily come to Brian and Lois's home, with a small bag of clothes, personal items and food. You really need to think of nothing else, it's all there and more. Second time here to celebrate my birthday. The place is the perfect spot to relax with friends because of the incredible views, warm fire and perfect layout of the common area. I’m sure I’ll be back again! Thank you Matthew for another great weekend.

Darcey was always responsive and honest about the cottage and location. The cottage was updated while still maintaining the rustic and original feel. All appliances worked and there were plenty of water craft to keep us occupied.

Railway camp was a great winter getaway! Great, responsive host, clean, right in the lake, in a perfect location! Everything was as described and hope to stay here again. I am glad they share this camp.

I had a wonderful experience at The Nest. It is such a lovely, relaxing spot with outstanding hosts that were a pleasure to chat with. The cottage itself has everything you need. It is clear that a lot of effort went into creating this special place. I will definitely be back. Thanks again so much!!

We found Shaun's property to be very comfy. The kitchen had an impressive amount of cookware and appliances. There were plenty of games/puzzles etc...to keep you occupied. The couch along with the beds were very comfortable. My husband was impressed there was a Blackstone and a grill. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

This place was quiet and close to the lake exactly what our group need for our yearly ice fishing trip Leslie was very responsive and easy to talk to would definitely recommend and make a return trip

The house is great. We couldn’t have Ben happier! My wife and I spent a week to celebrate our 30th, and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Seclusion, peace and quiet. The back deck is amazing looking out over the lake, and a view of Kitahdin. The interior has a very homey feel, and so, as the weather didn’t cooperate so much, we had no problem just hanging out and enjoying the house and the surroundings. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook in more often than go out. The woodwork thru out the house, and the quality handmade furniture gave the house a warm comfortable feel. I 100% recommend this rental for anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle for a while. 👍

We loved our one week stay at the cabin! It was really wonderful living right at the lake, having breakfast outside, kayaking, going swimming almost every day and just enjoying the time doing nothing or reading. We also went hiking in the nearby State Park which was great. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed. Communication with Kim was really easy-going. We definitely recommend the cabin to anyone who wants to get away from everything for a while.

This was our second stay at Brian's place, and it was just as beautiful and peaceful as we remembered. The serene atmosphere and stunning views made it the perfect getaway. Brian was a fantastic host, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was great! Amazing location on the water with beautiful views. Convenient spot on the property with easy access to restaurant/brewery/New England Outdoor Center. We had a great weekend XC skiing and enjoying gorgeous views of Katahdin. We even enjoyed a beautiful sunset watching a family of bald eagles on the lake in front of the mountain. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and cozy. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

I loved this stay! Went for my birthday! Very Pet friendly and the host stocked the cabin with tons of necessities, and was very detailed with the things she had for us! Tons of space for your dog to run and play! Very peaceful and private! Dead quiet! Sooo healing for the soul! This was a much needed stay and a 10/10! So many memories were made this past weekend and we are already talking about coming back! Our dog gave it two paws up!

My husband, toddler, dog and I had a tremendous stay at Joshua’s camp. The description matched the photos exactly—and quite honestly, the camp is even better in person. We loved our time here, and wish we’d had longer! It’s in a gorgeous location with endless opportunities for hiking (even outside of Baxter SP 🙂) within a reasonable distance nearby. We found it rustic, but it had everything we needed to be comfortable (even when the power went out during a windstorm). Joshua was a very responsive and communicative host, and we would love to stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay in Maine! Andrea and Tooty were quick to answer questions and to take care of any needs. Beautiful cabin on the water - we hope to visit again!

The house was perfect! Clean, well stocked. Mark was a great host. Responded immediately to any questions I had. Checked in with us to make sure everything was ok. We would absolutely stay there again. It was within walking distance to the New England Outdoor Center. Perfect location!

This is a beautiful getaway home in the woods. The view especially of the sunrise is spectacular. We loved being there.

Took my family and friends to Dustin’s cabin and had an amazing time. The views were incredible and the cabin was great, definitely looking to come back!

Some friends and I came up for a weekend of ATV riding and this was the perfect location. Easy access to trails and a place to turn the truck and trailer around. This spot is perfect for a weekend getaway and I want to stay here again!
