What a magical stay at the Milk Barn❤️ Rio and Toby were amazing hosts, so welcoming and kind. We loved that it was on a working farm! Dave’s Milk Barn is such a treasure, we will definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful time at Larissa’s farm. Our three kids loved working on the farm - learning, contributing, and being outside - and Larissa is just such a kind person who was super patient with the kids. The apartment was great, everything you need for a short stay, and was just what we were looking for, clean and well-kept. Larissa provides a ton of info about stores and restaurants and activities nearby, and we just had such a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

You know it’s a lovely space when we come multiple years to stay! Amy is the nicest- a fantastic host with great recommendations for the area. The apartment is clean and spacious and full of rustic charm. Our kids adored the ducks they have on the property and the yard is wonderfully inviting! Can’t wait to come back next year 😃

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

I stayed at Katherine's during renovations on my house in a nearby town. I appreciated her flexibility and the fact that she also accommodated my dogs as the experience has been challenging for all of us. The location of Katherine's property is easy to find and very close to Brattleboro for most things you would need during your stay.

We had an amazing stay! The barn is such a cool space, and having the sheep and horses so close by was so much fun - our one year old daughter was in heaven. Thanks for everything!!

We enjoyed our stay at your house so very much! Such wonderful memories made. Everything was perfect! Our girls and I were able to spend lots of beautiful time together there while my husband and our son were at too many games for our youngest ones to sit through. We loved your place so much,and appreciated every detail,from the decor to the games and dressup...very cozy and restful,and we also enjoyed the home theater,fireplaces and gym. Thankyou again for such a lovely experience,and if we are ever in the area again,we would definitely choose your barn if available. We loved it!

Our stay at Linnea and Kevin’s barn was wonderful! They were very responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable two-night stay. The barn was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the essentials.

Great place. Nothing was missing. Definitely recommendable if you seek a place to relax and an amazing landscape.

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

I have stayed in dozens and dozens of Airbnbs and this is bar none the best I have stayed in terms of the price and value. To say it is well appointed is an understatement, it was perfect for my 2 day biz trip. Very quiet. Such an awesome building and setting! If you’re questioning whether it you should hit ‘Reserve’…..yes, do it. Thanks for the great stay :)

Our stay was lovely. The house is beautiful and spacious with books galore! I found an I-Pod with nice music for a great evening. The view was serene and relaxing. I loved my stay and would recommend the Book Barn 100%.

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

My boyfriend and I went on a road trip to Niagara Falls, and this was our favorite stay along the way! The airbnb was warm, cozy and just as pictured, while the instructions to get in from Barb were also clear. We were able to cook and comfortably watch TV from bed. We were encouraged to come visit the goats in the morning before leaving, and it was truly the cherry on top to see them and pet the barn cats before making our way on the road. We felt very welcomed here, and would definitely come again!

This little nook in the middle of the woods was amazing very peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable. Everything you can possibly need is provided by the host. Can’t say enough about this place. Absolutely amazing. Definitely visiting again.

Cute, homey renovated barn on personal property with complete privacy and parking. Great response time from owner and extra touches were much appreciated such as snacks, coffee, cream in refrigerator and a welcome letter. Location was 15 minutes from the airport and the town of Westbrook offered everything you would need.We definitely recommend Diane and Joe’s place.

It's even more beautiful than the pictures. Every inch is gorgeous while also being functional and fun. We spent a winter weekend together and were absolutely wowed. Our four teenagers loved running around with the marshmallow crossbows, the indoor swing, the Pacman machine, the old-timey tech....the only downside is the lack of closed-door bedrooms (it's a very open setup with drapes /screens, but we knew that and didn't mind). "Responsive host" doesn't begin to describe Jonathan's attention to us as guests. He offered a flexible check-in without being asked when the weather looked snowy, sent us someone to plow us out, rescheduled time with the animals, and basically bent over backward to accommodate us during a snowstorm weekend (yes there's a generator!). And that's before you get to what he offers routinely-- dinner on the house (adjusted to our dietary needs and also our inconvenient arrival time), fresh flowers, pajamas and bathrobes, a treasure hunt... Magnificent!

This Bnb was fantastic! First off, Kristie did a great job of explaining everything we needed to know about the place. She was extremely responsive and helpful the entire process. She was even nice enough to let us check in a little early which was appreciated. The space itself was spotless and had all of the amenities you’d want in a bnb. After a long day of snowboarding, it was the perfect place to rest our bones by the fire and relax. The location itself was prime and setback enough to provide some nice privacy. Highly recommend to anyone saying in Eville. We’ll be back!

The space was spotless, and it was clear that great care went into maintaining the property. From the little details to the overall comfort, everything exceeded our expectations. Excellent spot to stay in for any type of visit to Acadia. My friends and I stayed here to bike around the carriage roads. Jane and Paul provided maps, bikes, and plenty of recommendations for trails and food. The home itself is gorgeous and inviting. We can't wait to come back!

If I can only use a few words then “above and beyond” would be most fitting. Amanda made this such an amazing experience. Everything was so easy to plan. She was on top of EVERYTHING. Starting right with booking and planning. Answering all my questions extremely quickly. All the extra services she offers are just amazing. Breakfast delivered outside the door in the morning, my girlfriends favorite fresh flowers there when we arrived. I highly suggest having the chef come in to make you dinner. You will be very happily surprised. The space is just beautiful and so extremely comfortable. The blankets, sheets, pillows, mattress are like heaven. Nothing was skimped on. Getting to pet the animals is just another extra bonus. Everything has been thought of for you. This is definitely an experience we will be suggesting to others and will never forget. What a wonderful retreat! I can't think of a better place to stay where you're surrounded by books, art and the countryside.

Words simply cannot describe how magical this Airbnb experience was. a group of friends and I passed the hours marveling at the gorgeous art and curated knick-knacks - the home itself an endless source of fun. - like an interactive museum! Thats without even mentioning the property, the pond, the waterfall, the chickens, tire swings and HOT TUB! Truly a miraculous experience, would highly recommend and we will absolutely be returning.
