The lakehouse was clean and very comfortable. It was so cozy using the pellet stove for heat and the house has a lot of natural light. I felt very relaxed staying here and slept well at night. The views of the lake are stunning, especially down at the dock. Our kids enjoyed going down to watch the sun rise and we enjoyed a campfire one evening as a family. Everything you need to know is clearly stated beforehand (like there being a lot of steep steps to get down to the lake and needing to bring your own drinking water), so there are no surprises. I appreciate the hosts providing so much important information up front so we didn’t have any issues or questions during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Had an amazing time here and didn’t want to leave! Our favorites were the location (across the street from the beach) and hot tub. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was - we never needed to buy coffee or spices for cooking.

You will be surprised to be able to see the sunrise from your bedroom, have cocktails on a little beach on the brackish Shrewsbury River with windsurfers trying their luck, walk to Bahr's seafood resto or Proving Ground tavern with good beer and food and views -- great location and quiet at night and interesting to watch clammers ride out in their little boats in the morning.

The cottage is a beautiful haven of tranquility. The type of place that doesn’t come along very often - if at all! You are surrounded by nature and just steps down to Lake Erie. The sights and sounds of this biodiverse area are your literal backyard, but you’re also close to good food, small to mid town shopping, and some pretty fantastic museums (Maritime museum and Erie Art Museum were highlights). Joan is a total sweetheart: she meets you and makes you feel immediate welcome. She will even cook you a homemade breakfast one morning of your stay. Beyond the amazing hospitality, you will get the sense that Joan actually CARES. Something so rare in our world. And it is on this note that I would return again and again. Best place ever to locate out of for Erie Lake Marathon @ Presque Isle Park!

Rosemary’s cottage was exactly as advertised. And, that was pretty great! It was clean, well stocked with all of the necessities and then some, and toasty warm in March's chill. The proximity to the beach could be measured in feet. The sunset could be seen from the living room window but then, with a few steps outside, seen setting right on the ocean’s horizon. In the off season, most restaurants were only open Thursday through Sunday but that’s exactly when we were there so that was just fine! We are eagerly anticipating our return to the cottage both in the off season but also in summer when we can take full advantage of what Wellfleet has to offer.

William was a wonderful host for our family members in town after we had to get them out abruptly from another stay due to a safety concern. He accommodated an early check in and early check out and was very kind in his communications. He even offered a military discount which we so very much appreciated after being out the money from the first stay. The place was larger than it looks from the outside, right by the water and nicely decorated. Backyard would have been great with pets. Very close to all local restaurants and boardwalk! If we have family in town again we will certainly rebook! Thank you again!

Great getaway on the lake, the view was better than most of the wineries in the area.

Pat’s home was a perfect spot for our girls weekend. The heated pool and patio was beautiful, the beds were comfy and the living space and kitchen were perfect. Pat was friendly in our conversations and always quick to respond to question. We’d come again! Thank you Pat!

Great location, great house, and an exceptional host. Very pleased with our stay. Lovely home, well appointed, tastefully decorated and as described. Accessible, friendly host really made this stay for us. Beds we used we very comfy. Loved the seating options, plants and natural light from the beautiful windows. Very nice neighbourhood too. Stella & Laverne were wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Was hard to leave, we could have staid on much longer. Everything was just right, bunkie cute and comfortable. Bedrooms gorgeous, living room cozy. Lovely porch with a perfect daily view of the Bay of Quinte. Gorgeous sunsets to calm the mind. Fun huge yard and fire pit. We hope to go back in 2025. ♥️

Beautiful, peaceful place to find solitude and take a break from city life and stress. Great base for hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, and other winter activities. When you arrive you can immediately tell you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your stay, even if just doing nothing but enjoying the forest and wetland scenery. Mala and Terry are friendly and responsive hosts, who care about their place and their guests. I miss it already!

Beautiful private getaway with a cozy kitchen and eclectic living room. The hot tub was a perfect addition to the property. Overall a beautiful space! The hosts were extremely attentive for anything we may have needed.

Good place to stay in Brockville. 2/3 beds are comfy. Kitchen stocked full. Downside is the couch is meh, and the dishwasher is not usable! But we will be back despite these set backs.

My husband and I had a great stay at Tracey‘s cottage. The decor is beautiful, with its nautical theme. It’s very comfortable and has everything you need for a perfect stay. Tracey is very friendly and communicative. The location is great- walk to the beach, nearby restaurants, and short drive to town. We can’t wait to return.
