This is an attractive, comfortable room with a well equipped kitchenette, good cupboard space, safe, and the bathroom has a good-sized shower. The house is on the edge of the town, secure, and very peaceful. We particularly enjoyed using the pool and staying out of the heat under the shady roofed-area with its table and chairs. Judy and her husband were extremely pleasant and helpful. They recommended the farm stall restaurant a few minutes away and that was a success. We also enjoyed the museum and especially walking the Sevilla San Art Trail with its many marvellous cave paintings. A lovely visit, thank you.

I had a lovely overnight stay at Carters Rest while travelling for business. The 'self serve' breakfast was very convenient & generous. The room was exactly as in the photos. I will gladly recommend Carters Rest

A great place to stay when visiting Beaufort West. Close to restaurants and bars, but so secluded you would not know. The room was large and clean and the main bed was brilliant. Great outside area, gardens and a pool. The staff I met were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

I will recommend this accommodation to anybody. Everything is excellent. Location is perfect in the mountains.

We enjoyed our stay at Salmon and Elna's accommodation. We had a friendly welcome, they even accommodated us with an earlier check in. Good value and close to the falls. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

This was not the first time I visited this guest house. Except for the bed that was a bit unsteady everything was fine. I will most probably stay there again.

We had a lovely stay. The karoo is very hot in December but the splash pool was welcoming. It's a beautiful setting. Will definitely return with mountain bikes!

Breathtaking views, beautiful home, such a lovely hostess, adorable dogs. Super comfy beds and linen. Highly recommend driving through to Paternoster for the day too and exploring the foodie spots there. All in all a great getaway!

It was exactly like the pictures! Clean and tidy, fresh linens and a jug of milk in the fridge for your coffee after the long drive. Great for a stop over, firewood provided for a nice outdoor fire and their little dog, Jack very friendly! Helenna was quick to respond, and gave very clear directions

It was a perfect upmarket stay for me my wife and our two daughters. The property was clean and the garden well kept and save parking and the beds were comfortable and the aircon worked perfectly. The area is also nice and you should be able to go for a walk, however after 8 hours of travel we only wanted to relax and for that the unit was nice and relaxing. We did not stay for the breakfast however next time we will do the breakfast as well.

We stayed overnight on a trip from JHB to CPT and had all the amenities required for a more than comfortable stay. Our host was very friendly and accommodating, especially seeing that we ran slightly later than anticipated. There was a power outage that evening but enough measures were in place to not detract from our stay.

We had such a great stay at Lake Grappa. Unit is very nicely furnished and has everything you would need and only a short drive to the Augrabies Falls. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks at the restaurant which was fantastic. Great atmosphere and stunning view of the sunset over the lake. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Thank you Gerrit!

Had such a nice in Colesberg at Surita's place. Also had a lekker pizza at Allards just around the corner (their restaurant). Will defintely come back to this spot in future. Perfect overnight stay.

We had an absoliutely amazing stay at Iziba Cheetah. Damien was a great host,we felt at home immediately.I strongly recommend this establishment for a getaway in nature . We saw the best flowers ever.

Quiet location. Flat had most everything you need. Missing was a kitchen sink but the housekeeper would clean daily and take off the dishes and I could rinse them a bit in the bathroom sink. It was really hot when I stayed and the only fan was a ceiling fan over the bed. In summer you might want to bring an additional fan if the heat bothers you.

Had an amazing stay at Dee and Andy’s place! We got upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was stunning! Overlooking the ocean right from the bed, beautiful bathroom with a bathtub which is super during the rainy winter months. Lovely breakfast and good recommendations of restaurants. All in all, five stars and will come back as soon as I get the chance ❤️
