Our stay at Vista Do Mar was truly exceptional. Rentia welcomed us so warmly, and her thoughtful surprises made our visit even more special. The setting was incredibly peaceful and private, with a breathtaking view right from the bed—something we'll never forget. We loved exploring the area, especially the beautiful beach walks that added to the serenity of our getaway. If you're looking for a perfect retreat by the sea, I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

I usually take the traditional route between Cape Town and Johannesburg, stopping in Colesberg or Richmond. This time, I explored a new path and discovered Nieu-Bethesda—a hidden gem. The town’s gravel roads, fantastic restaurants, free-roaming horses, and the sound of owls at night created a magical atmosphere, especially while enjoying incredible lamb dishes. The highlight was my stay at Ludolf and Carla’s Airbnb. Their beautifully restored, pet-friendly home is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort. Thoughtful touches—welcome sherry, luxurious bedding, Africalogic amenities, homemade rusks, and fresh milk—made me feel truly pampered. Their property also features a stunning underground cellar for special events. Ludolf and Carla provided excellent communication and a detailed town map. Their hospitality, combined with Nieu-Bethesda’s charm, made this an unforgettable experience. I’m officially a fan and will definitely be back!

I can't thank Sally enough. She is a fantastic host and I feel priviledged that I was able to enjoy the luxury stay at this increcible location. I'm not sure how to capture exactly how incredible this cottage is. It had everything we needed and then some. In short it was a little piece of heaven. I can't wait to go back!

We loved our 2 day stay. The space was well equipped and the bed comfortably. I loved the spacious shower and bathroom. The pool and outside area are private and everything is beautifully decorated. Breakfast at Koekemakranka was delicious. Other restaurants and the beach is a 2 min walk. This space is Highly recommend.

Amazing 4 nights at this house in the best spot in Elands Bay. Ideal location with unobstructed views of the ocean, made better by the clever design of having the lounge and living spaces upstairs. The direct access to the beach was wonderful, and the lower deck, outside shower, etc made returning from the beach or a surf a pleasant experience. Cleverly designed and nicely furnished. Our host Audrey was helpful, friendly, and responsive at all times. Overall a wonderful long weekend made better by the great house and location.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in Nicole's place. The house was impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable and well-appointed, offering plenty of space to relax. The open-plan living area made it easy to socialize and enjoy meals together, while Shelly point offered plenty of activities. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

The property was exactly as described, clean and well worth the rental price. Checking in and out was a breeze, thank you Malande (facilitator). The property was well equipped and all essentials were provided, three braais had us spoiled for choice with access to the beach within less than a minute's walk. What a lovely farm stay, private, cosy and surrounded by a beautiful view. Amazing pool area within a peaceful patch of garden with very musical trees full of bird life! Our toddler loved running around on the green lawn under the shady trees. Great, friendly and accommodating hosts. A must stay if you in the area.

Wonderful place to stay! Dennis was friendly and very helpful. He ensured the aircon was turned on before we arrived (on a very hot day) and it was very easy to communicate with him. We would definitely stay here again.
