We absolutely loved our stay at the Orchard Cottage. New Forest is a place of outstanding beauty and there are so many lovely trails, pubs and activities around. The cottage itself was beautiful! Hot tub and sauna were also an added bonus. Chris was a brilliant host. He made sure we knew what we were doing with the hot-tub and was able to give us plenty of recommendations for what to do/pubs and a brilliant running track. He went the extra mile to make it special for us! Thank you so much :)

Stylishly decorated Homemade jams and granola, honey, yoghurt, and bought-in croissants, tea and coffee left for us Very good log burner Natasha recommended a great pub nearby Slight quibbles- (hyper critical): Shower room a little functional Fair amount of owner's stuff about - e.g material swatches, 'Dad rock' albums and hifi . Overall, I recommend highly.

We had a lovely stay with friends and family. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, from all kitchen appliances, extra blankets, and board games. We loved our stay and would stay again. Thank you

We have just returned home after our fabulous stay at the Long Barn. My 3 boys (10,6,4) had the time of their lives this holiday, with a huge thanks to Sara and Rob for helping to make our stay in Cornwall really special. The barn itself is beautiful, in gorgeous surroundings and spotlessly clean. The decoration is tasteful and homely, with fresh local flowers in each room. We were treated to a new wood fired hot tub, which we enjoyed in the peaceful surroundings whilst gazing at the stars at night. Every morning the boys were able to feed the farm animals, with Rob, who was so kind and patient with our children. The boys spent lots of time playing in the play barn, making friends with the other children staying at the site and making use of the brilliant games and activities, we had to bribe them to leave at the end with promises to return! Being in such a fab location with access to the stunning Cornish countryside and local towns made this holiday one of the best ever.

What an amazing little place, great location, loads of lovely walks nearby. Lucy met us upon arrival and kindly showed us around including some local sites. The place is relatively newly done with great facilities. The en-suites were superb and the bed and the matresses were excellent meaning we all got a great nights sleep after all the walking. We will 100% return. Thanks

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Perfect! Just what we needed for our trip. Really lovely place. Private, peaceful and comfortable. Love the interior design and lots of useful and and helpful things for guests to use, ie; hairdryer, milk/applejuice to get you started, phone chargers and a great selection of games.

What a treasure of a place!! So cosy, private, quiet & peaceful and beautiful views too. The barn was well equipped, spotlessly clean and had everything you’d need for your stay. Lisa Marie was a fabulous host and was so very helpful too. So many great walks in the area for ourselves and our dog and great places to eat too!! We can’t wait to go back!!

My Husband, toddler and I had a lovely stay for 3 nights at the Carthorse Barn! Annette’s place is beautiful and in a great location too. We visited the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens and Cirencester during our stay. The barn is also a good choice for families with young children as Annette provided a travel cot, bath towel, high chair and toys as well as cutlery and plates. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This place was amazing. The hosts were super friendly and very accommodating leaving you wanting for nothing, along with little touches to the property like refilling the firewood whilst we were out on a walk in the lakes, to things like a fresh loaf of bread with a choice of jam or butter in the fridge when we arrived. The photos of the place are beautiful, and although they don’t do it justice for what you get, I can honestly say that you practically have a full, well maintained, clean, cosy and comfortable house/ barn to live in for your stay. It was the perfect weekend for us all in all and we can’t thank Pat and Neil enough. I was particularly impressed with when we departed, Pat and Neil were asking for feedback and opinions showcasing their ongoing thoughts of continuous improvement for all their future guests. It’s hard to top what they’re already doing, as they’ll continue to strive for that which was clear. You can’t go wrong staying here and I’d definitely recommend.

Loverly open plan living area , modern and clean only downside stairs was an issue with young children as the opening wasn’t wide enough for stair gate . Plenty of room we stayed as a family of 6 adults 2 infants and two dogs . Hot tub was bonus room for four people . Nice walks , loved the goats and the dog walking area Easy short drive for Matlock and Bakewell. Overall a very enjoyable break lovely location.

We had a fantastic stay. House was beautifully furnished and more than ready for our arrival (including the lovely lemon drizzle cake). NIC and Chris were very responsive in any questions we had asked proir to arrival and made the effort for a chat at the end of our stay. A wonderful stay.

Wow, wow, wow! We was absolutely speechless when we walked into what would be our home for the next three days. What a stunning place to stay, meticulously kept and decorated and absolutely well thought out. Every single detail we can think of is included and even down to having extra oil, salt, foil, coffee capsules. Really appreciated all the small things which made the stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and 100% recommend to anyone who would love a tranquil stay with great hosts. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely few days at Tim and Anna's. The location is absolutely perfect: it is close enough to civilisation to be able to pop to the shops but only a few minutes walk and we were walking in The New Forest with terrific views in abundance. The barns have been lovingly restored in a modern manner - with everything we needed for our stay. We found it incredibly easy to check-in and check-out and Anna and Tim were both very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. All in all, a fantastic few days in lovely accommodation in a beautiful part of the world.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

The Barn was a fantastic base for exploring the Lake District. The accommodation was fabulous, with a very comfortable bed, cosy sitting room and well equipped kitchen. Plenty of places to eat out but with the option of eating in also. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. Already recommended ‘The Old Barn’ to a friend! Thank you 😊

A mixed up family stay for grandparents, teens, us and a younger one. This place was brilliant. Grandparents on ground floor with an en-suite. Teens/little one, in their own rooms upstairs with a jack’n’jill bathroom and us in our room with en-suite. Great open plan downstairs and all the right facilities. The area is lovely. Brilliant walks and activities near by. We had an amazing meal in The Red Dragon, Crickhowell (15 mins drive). A super stay 😊

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

What a beautiful place to stay! The attention to detail was amazing and it had all the possible amenities you could need. Diewertje was incredibly responsive and even left a little gift for our 1 year old which was extremely kind. We really enjoyed using the log burner on some cold and windy evenings. The location is also great for exploring the local area. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Hosted my sister’s hen do here and it was perfect! Had all the amenities we needed (is bigger than the photos make it seem) and Kate was very helpful providing flexible check in and out.
