A magical experience in a wonderful castle! Everything was perfect. We got a warm welcome with little tour around the castle and sweet biscuits, big, cozy and very clean room with everything in it. The bed was extremely comfortable and the fireplace made our stay even more romantic. So many details and Gisella’s good care of them cannot stay unnoticed and add their charm to the room. I could only recommend this place and will definitely come again.

East Gate Lodge was the perfect choice for us. The grounds of Dunalastair Estate were perfect for this group of birders. If you don't plan on cooking dinners, you may want to plan your meals carefully. We were out and about many days and had a bit of scrambling to figure out what to do for dinner. The property was just as described with anything you could need.

Exceeded all our expectations…amazing, quaint, quiet estate. The Courtyard was a wonderful place to base our travels in the Scottish Highlands. Ohma and family were fantastic. Recommend a visit…we hope to return soon.

Wir haben die tolle Lage und die beeindruckende Aussicht sehr genossen. Der Pool und die vielen Extras haben unseren Aufenthalt wunderbar abgerundet. Kate und Nick waren sehr freundlich und entspannt, so dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlten. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

This was a truly special stay. How often can you say you've stayed at a beautiful castle! Caroline was extremely responsive and everything was as described -- yes, that includes some limitations. When you are in a very historic building that's also someone's private home, you can't necessarily have every amenity that you get in a luxury hotel. But these limitations are very clearly communicated and completely reasonable (mostly that there are some areas of the grounds that are private/not for the Airbnb guests, and that the building gets cold). Caroline supplied many little touches that made it an extraordinary stay, and was very understanding about my young children.

Nous tenons à remercier Pat pour son accueil chaleureux dans son château. C'est un hôte passionné qui sait transmettre l'histoire de sa demeure familiale. Le château possède un charme d'antan qui nous a ravis. Même avec deux nuits nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps. Excellent séjour.

Cat's Castle was an absolute magical stay for myself and my family. The house and grounds were immaculate and so peaceful, & Paul and Gemma were so easy to communicate with. Everything about it was wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the nearby towns!

Zowie was quick and easy to communicate with. Her instructions were clear and helpful. The location is an easy 45 minute drive into Edinburgh but if you prefer not to drive, a bus stop is just down the hill. Huge bathtub was relaxing, Netflix worked great on the TV, everything we needed was in the kitchen. Great place! Thanks Zowie!

The apartment was fantastic. The pool, steam room and sauna were a great addition after long days of hiking. It was quiet and a beautiful area.

Graham was a lovely host, he was very welcoming and helpful. His home is clean and beautiful and the views are spectacular, we hope to visit again soon. We highly recommend Graham’s place. We also loved the cute bunnies in the yard!

Staying at the Tower of Oto was an absolute dream! The location is perfect—just minutes from the entrance to Ordesa-Monte Perdido National Park, which made it incredibly convenient for all our hiking and exploring. The peaceful village of Oto is full of charm, and being so close to the neighboring town of Broto (walkable on a really cool hiking path) gave us easy access to great restaurants, shops, and anything else we needed during our stay. The tower itself was full of character—beautifully restored, with thoughtful touches that made it both unique and comfortable. The kids loved the tower and we all really loved the village and didn’t want to leave. Waking up to the views of the surrounding Pyrenees was something we looked forward to every morning. This is the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Ordesa Valley while enjoying a peaceful and authentic mountain village experience. We’re so grateful we found this gem!

Nous avons eu ce que nous cherchions, et plus. Le "loft" proposé par Jeff est une ancienne grange superbement rénovée, appartenant au domaine du château. Le logis est sur 2 niveaux et la pièce de séjour conserve toute la hauteur de plafond, avec des murs en pierres blanches au style traditionnel de la région, et une cheminée plus contemporaine et sobre. Tout est fait et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, si bien que de quelque côté que l'on se tourne, ou dans le champ de vision, des livres, de belles assiettes au mur, des lumières chaleureuses, le sol dallé, buffets et tables, tout donne une impression esthétique très satisfaisante. C'est très important pour nous chez un Airbnb ou autre, et c'est rare, surtout si on y passe beaucoup de temps comme en hiver. Le logement est bien chauffé, ce qui est très appréciable dans une ancienne bâtisse. A l'étage, l'ensemble chambre, salle de bain et petit coin "nid de pigeon" sont très agréables. Cuisine simple et fonctionnelle. Super rando à côté.

We had the loveliest stay at Castle Folly in Warwick, made even more special by our amazing hosts! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every little detail had been thoughtfully planned. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—a delicious cake for a birthday celebration, leaving a bottle of prosecco, and even our initials in wood on the windowsill! The breakfast was just as thoughtful—fresh bread, two perfectly placed eggs, and many sweet little treats. Every part of the stay was sprinkled with kindness, from the handwritten notes to the charming knights. We just couldn’t have asked for a better or more generous host. The warmth and hospitality made this one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences we've ever had. If you're looking for a truly magical and unique getaway, this is the place to be!

It was a real pleasure to stay in the lavender gite in the grounds of the chateau Michael's renovating. What made our stay special was the warm and friendly hospitality from Michael and his friend Gabi, and the beautiful gardens he's created around the gites, the chateau and the swimming pool. It was a bit too chilly to use the pool in our stay, but it looked very inviting in better weather!

Brilliant place! This was our first time away with our 5 month old. My partner worked while my son and I stayed in Rhuddlan. The cottage had everything we needed for our little one including high chair, baby changing mat, bath and cot if required, this helped us pack a bit lighter, as weve now discovered we need to take alot more stuff with us :-) The cottage itself was perfect for us and the view of the castle was amazing! And the garden was a lovely sun trap and private. It was lovely and clean and the communication and check in with Andrew and Sarah were great. The town itself was lovely too with plenty areas to walk with the pram. I would definitely recommend this place and if we're ever in the area again we will definitely book here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation to Normandy this year. The chateau was beautiful and an easy driving distance to the D-Day Beaches and Mont Saint Michele. Bayeux, Caen and Falaise are close and have an interesting mixture of which medieval and WW2 history. We are very grateful to Annika as she provided excursion and restaurant suggestions which were spot on. We had also wanted a chef to come in and cook a meal for us based on the local cuisine. The chef Annika recommended cooked a delicious meal for us and this was one of many highlights of our trip. Please utilize Florence the housekeeper. She had home cooked meals ready for us to enjoy for both lunch and dinner. I highly recommend for those who fly in overnight, We also loved the grounds. We played yard games daily and loved watching the children play the Duke of Normandy. Thank you Annika for helping us to have such a wonderful vacation!

We wanted something peaceful and in the countryside and this was perfect. A little town nearby for a wander round and a good pub for a nice meal at The Raven. The log burner was a great feature for us too to be able to sit and chat and relax in the evening. If you want to get away from your everyday routine modern life this will be as perfect for you as it was for us. Also the hosts responded quickly and were really friendly and helpful.

This charming, comfortable home was the perfect place to explore Monsaraz and the surrounding area. The view from the backyard was phenomenal. I only wish it had been warm enough for the pool - we would have spent even more time relaxing there.
