Honestly, Christian puts the rest of my 5 star reviews into perspective - no other stay has come close. It's a basic room in a flat shared between the guest and Christian. There's all the amenities you'd need. Easy walk to the university, with a supermarket on the way. Super frequent buses to the town itself (roughly every 10 minutes). The best part is Christian himself. He is extremely generous and welcoming, full of local knowledge, and very easy-going. A very pleasant stay for 2.5 weeks while I got settled into the new job at the university. I think it says everything that he's still in touch with many previous guests who are still in Oulu!

Julia and her boyfriend were really helpful and responsive! Replies were very fast and always went above and beyond to help us check stuff such as bookings etc. The place was really near a busstop which was very convenient and my boyfriend and i even got to meet really cool friends who were also guests at the place! Hosts were also very friendly :) !!!! We even got to see northern lights 2/3 nights we stayed there!!!! Overall a great place with great people all around

Viihdyimme! Ihana vanha hirsinen kansakoulu, jossa entisessä opettajan huoneessa yövyimme. Tilava huone ja erittäin ystävällinen palvelu.

Mi esposo y yo pasamos unos dias y la verdad nos gusta mucho ya que a unos pasos hay un lago donde pudimos observar las auroras boreales Para salir utilisâmes uber y la verdad es que estuvo génial ! Cerca hay un super y el lugar esta muy lindo Julia y su esposo son agradables, nos dieron consejos de lugares à visitar y para ver las auroras boreales Recomendamos :)

El departamento es tranquilo y acogedor, su cocina esta muy bien equipada y el anfitrión tiene unos gatitos amigables. Muja tiene mucha iniciativa, y siempre esta pendiente en caso necesites algo, tambien esta muy alerta en caso aparezcan auroras boreales en la zona. Quizas el principal plus es que a 5 minutos en carro se tiene acceso a una playa (muelle) que desde donde en temporada de invierno se pueden ver las Auroras Boreales sin tanta contaminación luminica que permitiran sacarse buenaa fotos con ellas.
