So nice we came back twice! Didn’t expect to return so soon but when an opportunity presented itself to re-visit Taos, we knew exactly where we wanted to stay. In between commitments, it’s so lovely to settle into this sweet space for a quiet repose. We can’t say enough good things about the boxcar, its beautiful surroundings and generous hosts.

Great experience, will be back, beautiful area. Definitely a peaceful escape and friendly host.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hobbit house. It was spacious and well equipped with an enormous and very comfortable bed, in a peaceful and beautiful location with a pleasant 2 mile walk into Taos. It was great to experience the earliest iteration of the earthship, and to see how well it coped with the hot days and cool nights of autumn. We particularly enjoyed the shower and toilet surrounded by plants. It would probably not be to everyone's taste - but not to be missed if, like us, you are interested in architecture and sustainability.

I've stayed at a LOT of Airbnbs. This was the best one by several powers of ten. It's so relaxing, quiet, beautiful, and comfortable. We spent almost a whole week there and just felt... easy. It's close to everything but feels so far away. We did a lot in the area, but we could have spent the whole week in the unit and still had a really nice time. Do yourself a favor, and book this one.

This location was a great spot. My wife and I along with our Dog had a great time. Leslie was very responsive and super helpful when we needed anything. I always felt supportive. The area is a cute, walkable area in Taos. We were there having a staycation followed by a Snowboarding trip at Taos Ski Valley. The Location was a great place to stay with the mountain nearby.

Adorable tiny home (Definitely TINY 😉). Perfect for a couple or individual traveler. Quiet surroundings with a private back patio and fenced yard. Very clean and well appointed tiny kitchen, with everything necessary to prepare a meal for two. Clean and comfortable bathroom with walk-in shower and more than enough towels and washcloths. Cozy little dining table in the living/sleep area. Ample storage in the two corner closets. TV and wifi worked just fine (we were pleasantly surprised by this in such a remote area!) Only one minor improvement would have made this a perfect stay, which is perhaps a couch/bed with a slightly thicker mattress for comfort. In all, a very pleasant and cozy place to stay. We were very happy to find this little gem!

George and Michelle’s tiny home was the PERFECT stop along my spring road trip to the Southwest. The home is quite snug but everything you need. In the dark, it can be hard to find but the hosts are incredibly responsive. They went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable - the cookies were a lovely touch. After a 12 hour day of driving, this was a good spot to remind me to slow down, and to take in the mountains and beauty of our world. Would recommend to anyone passing through southern CO - also, the local town of Trinidad is a hidden gem. The shops there are incredible. Thanks George and Michelle! I’ll probably be back!

What a gem! The casita was lovely, the hosts were friendly, and the location is incredible. Gary was also very patient with my son, who was quite excited about the animals. The whole stay made it a great first-time-with-horses experience for him (he's already asking to go back!). Oh, and the muffins were fantastic.

We had such a great stay at Kathleen’s place in Madrid. The “shack” felt modern and stylish but still has that cozy charm. Everything was really well thought out, and it had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The bed was super comfy, and the linens were so plush and soft, which made it even better. One of the little things we really enjoyed was the radio. We kept it on and listened to KMRD-LP 96.9 FM while hanging out, which just added to the whole small-town feel. Madrid itself is such a cool place with tons of unique shops and a fun, artsy vibe. Kathleen and her partner own Range West Gallery in town and even offer a discount to guests, which was such a nice perk. It was also really easy to find, especially if you screenshot the directions ahead of time and check it out on Google Street View before you go. The area felt completely safe and easy to walk around, even at night. If you’re looking for a cozy and unique stay near Santa Fe, this is a great choice!

This is why I like Airbnb over a hotel. It's so nice to be welcomed and have a cozy, comfortable little place to stay the night. We will definitely stay here again when coming to Albuquerque.

My husband and I stayed at Carin Cottage in Mancos, CO, for our 6th anniversary, and it was wonderful. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and you could tell the hosts designed it to be both beautiful and comfortable. We enjoyed hiking on the property and the breathtaking stargazing at night. The bed was incredibly comfortable, giving us great sleep after long adventures. Being off-grid allowed us to disconnect and reset, which was perfect for our stay. We had never used a compost toilet before and found that part challenging, but it's something to be prepared for if you're a city person like us. Overall, our stay was amazing, and the locals in Mancos were so kind. It warmed our hearts to hear the great things they had to say about the hosts. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, off-grid getaway!

DOG FRIENDLY! This was my main element that I was looking for in an Airbnb location and this was it! Not only did Ellen And Steve advertise their dog friendly property but they greeted us with open arms upon arrival and it was like a home away from home. Their property is tucked away in the mountains which provided us privacy and we were only a couple of minutes away from the main part of Durango. They had an amazing walking trail at their home and the stay was so comfy and cozy. We loved our stay so much we are already planning on when we'll be returning.

very cute, driveway is easy to miss if you're not looking, but it was close to the hot springs and restaurants.

Abby & Dean’s space was perfect! I was looking for a place that would help me recharge and get over some writers block, and this space was exactly what I needed. The sunrises/sunsets are absolutely breathtaking, and their artwork/decorations are so beautiful. Abby & Dean were responsive and made me feel right at home. Additionally, they have the sweetest dog named Oki who visits occasionally for a treat and a pet. :) Taos is similarly a great place to find creativity and inspiration. I will definitely be coming back in the summer/fall months to do more hiking!

We loved staying at Katrina’s place. First , this casita is spotless, inside and out. Second, it’s in a great neighborhood, in a charming village , on a road that has very little traffic. So if you like peace and quiet, you will love it here . Third, Katrina is one of the nicest, most helpful hosts you would ever want to meet. It was more than just a place to sleep, it’s one of those places that make your trip memorable in the first place.
