Rakshi est une hôtesse au top. attentionnée, consciencieuse et chaleureuse. la maison est vraiment très agréable et charmante. la chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. ventilateur, prise anti moustiques et moustiquaire. la salle d'eau n'est que pour les invités. on est prêt de tout et notamment du plus grand temple hindou du Sri Lanka à moins 1 km on peut aisément faire les choses à pied. J'ai passé un excellent séjour chez Rakshi.

We had a nice and peaceful stay in Jaffna. Room and kitchen were as nice as on the photos. Communication and service were great. We didn’t feel so comfortable with the size and appearance of the house in such a simple and poor neighborhood. But that’s an absolutely personal opinion.

So happy to have found this gem in Jaffna! We were a group of 3 generations from Canada originally from Jaffna. From the beginning Hamilton and his house manager Lavan were extremely responsive and helpful with all our many questions and requests. The place met all our Canadian expectations- very comfortable and clean and set up like a North American home. Lavan was like a family member from the moment we arrived, gave good recommendations and always responsive whenever we had questions or needed help. We took advantage of the meal options he provided (as mentioned on the listing) - very delicious home cooked food at a very reasonable price. There are signs leading up to the house so was easy to locate. Laneway is narrow but that is the case for most streets in Jaffna so no fault to the property. My entire family young and old thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this place to our family and friends back home who are looking to come to Jaffna. Thank U Hamilton & Lavan!

A Perfect Stay in Jaffna – Comfort, Hospitality, and Charm! My stay at Sunflower was truly unforgettable! From the moment we booked, Hamilton, the superhost, was incredibly proactive and responsive, making the entire process smooth and effortless. His attention to detail and genuine care for guests set the tone for an amazing experience. The house itself is beautifully maintained by the ever-helpful and friendly house manager, Lavan. Every corner of the home radiates comfort—from the clean, air-conditioned rooms, and solar-powered energy system, to the hot showers and strong Wi-Fi. The communal spaces were perfect for relaxing, and I especially loved the well-equipped kitchen, fridge access, and serene outdoor areas. Thank you, Hamilton and Lavan, for making my first trip to Jaffna a truly wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Very friendly and receptive hosts both Hamilton and Lavan. Very concerned about guest welfare. We were a party of 5, 4 adults and a kid. Probably one of the more pleasant stays in Jaffna. Quite central and peaceful surroundings. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Won't hesitate to try it again. Highly recommended.
