This house was a great spot to take a night off from driving. Everything was smooth, including a nicely shoveled driveway stocked with cut firewood and kindling

The facilities are a little dated, but this is clearly overshadowed by the hospitality and diligent cleaning efforts of the staff! Very friendly people and will go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable.

Perfect place to stay just for night as an alternative to a motel. I was just needing a warm bed between long drives and this was just that. Nice to see people offering alternatives.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Lorena's rental, and will only stay there in the future when spending time in Fort Nelson ! Excellent communication, extremely responsive and clear instructions regarding the rental. Very positive, friendly , and genuine people who clearly care about their guests feeling right at home, which we did. It was the perfect rental and Lorena went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and settled. I can't wait to book again. Recommend host to all travellers visiting the area !

It was quaint and we slept well. Check in was easy and the receptionist was friendly. They were accommodating without extra fees when we needed a later check out too. Note* not motel related, more location based. If you stay here during the summer, bring bug spray. There weren’t any bugs inside the motel but there were a ton of mosquitoes outside.

Another great stay at Hillary’s place! Nice quiet and peaceful location, very clean space, and a great host!

Fantastic and highly recommended! I didn’t get to meet MJ but Mark met me upon arrival, showed me around and had already lit the stove for me, so it was nice and toasty by the time I got there. Two very sweet pups, a bunch of sheep and chicken.. my dog would have loved to stay longer! The apartment literally has everything you could possibly need or want; a gym, air fryer, curling iron, soda stream.. you name it. I will definitely stop by again on my next drive north.
