We absolutely loved our stay at Jason’s place!! It’s extremely well situated, the view from the back porch is incredible, it’s well equipped and very comfortable. It’s also a few minutes (about 10min) outside of town so it felt very safe, it was very quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!!

After a long drive from Melbourne, The Desert House was a welcome oasis for us. Beautiful and peaceful location out of Alice Springs, but close enough to go into town each day. Amenities and furniture comfortable. Simply designed and cool in the heat. We were 3 adults and a dog. Loved our stay.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Megan hat uns für die Umgebung ein paar Tipps gegeben die wir gern angenommen haben. Wir hatten sehr schöne Gespräche mit ihr. Megan schreibt sehr schnell zurück wenn wir eine Frage hatten und hilft wo sie kann. Ca 30 min zu Fuß entfernt findet ihr Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einen Patkplatz an der Strasse haben auch schnell gefunden. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen ruhigen Ort zur Entspannung sucht oder auch etwas Gesellschaft. Vielen Dank für die schönen Tage.

We had a special experience staying at Ooramina. There was hardly anyone around and we enjoyed clear, starry nights and campfires. Our boys loved climbing all over the rocks and exploring the property. The beds were comfortable, the shower hot and there were better than expected kitchen amenities. Would recommend bringing something easy to cook on the electric fry pan as well as breakfast food and of course marshmallows. We also had a great home cooked meal at the homestead.

The home was all we could have wished for, comfortable and relaxing indoors or around the pool. The home amenities were generous for cooking and bathing….plenty of towels! The location was great for exploring the local waterholes. The standard safety measures were enough. Would love to come again. Thank you Thomas and Ana

We had a wonderful time at the Sturt Desert Pea house! The grounds and the house are beautiful and every detail was thought about, down to providing birdseed for the garden. We particularly loved the friendly goats in the neighbourhood, the outside fire bowl and the numerous sitting options outside. We also felt very safe. Lyndee was such a great host and we will gladly recommend this house to anyone!
