It's a little hard to find, but once you get there you are rewarded with an amazing place to stay. Super chill beachy vibe with great outdoor area and fantastic view.

This small cottage was everything we could have asked for, peaceful, beautiful surroundings and helpful, friendly hosts. The location is ideal most of Northland, including the Cape, East and West coasts. We would have no hesitation in going back when we next visit New Zealand, we left with still much to see and do. If you are staying over a weekend, the Kerikeri market on a Saturday morning is not to be missed.

One of our last places to stay during our trip in NZ and again we are lucky! The beautiful view, the hot tub, the tranquility, stargazing at the deck in stargazing-rocking chaires, the enormous pampering with fish by hosts Vanessa and Steve and their lovely assistant Sandi who was always up for a pet. A lovely house on a beautiful location with beautiful bays and beaches for swimming and snorkeling, where Steve and Vanessa even had snorkels and diving goggles to borrow. We enjoyed it here!

Everything was amazing and perfect!!! I don’t even know where to start. Kathy & Bryon were probably one of the nicest host we ever met. Their lovely guest house was extremely clean. Really showed they care about their place and the guests. Location was perfect too. If you are a beach person, this is the spot - 2 min walk to amazing Ruakaka beach. We had an amazing getaway and will definitely come back!! Just want to say thank you so so much Kathy & Bryon!! We really had an amazing time :)

The Chapel was just around the corner from the local store and nearby all of the attractions in the beautiful region. We only stayed for one night and the beds were comfortable and the shower nice and strong. Andrew made everything very easy and made us feel as though we could get in touch if we needed anything. The guide book was helpful too. Thank you for our stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Easy check in and cottage was exactly as pictured. John was a wonderful host with suggestions to make our New Zealand holiday even better. Would highly recommend to others and would definitely stay here again.

Wicked location right on the beach, simple and cozy accommodation, nothing eles matters when you stay here. Pure relaxation and fun. Took kids and dog. We went swimming, fishing off the rocks and kayaking. Local shop only round the corner. We have already booked our next stay!

Quiet little place, amazing views and a quick drive into town. Highly recommended for a for a night or two getaway.

Loved the Airbnb. Perfect for a couple. The place was really clean and has some great touches like coffee sachets, lollies and bottled water. You can tell Kellie puts a lot of thought and effort into the place. Would definitely recommend!

Prue’s place had everything we needed. Great location! 10 minute walk to catch the barefoot catamaran sailboat to explore so we didn’t have to fight for a parking space! Lovely patio!

Beautiful and well-kept place! Catherine was amazingly helpful and responsive and was able to adjust our booking when our flights got cancelled and shifted the dates of our stay. Extremely peaceful and a great deal all around, we hope to visit and stay again in the future!

My husband and I booked this as a last minute getaway out of the city, and were not disappointed! The tiny home was lovely and just what we needed for the night! The incredible Ruakākā Beach was just steps away!

This was a lovely cottage. Very spacious (we liked the separate bedroom, bathroom and living room), comfortable and very well equipped. The location was in a very peaceful and private location and only a few minutes drive to a good selection of cafes and restaurants . Brett was a friendly and very helpful host We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We were looking for a stop over somewhere between stops that would cut the distance having to drive on any particular day. The Nest was perfect, set just off SH1 north of Auckland it was an ideal stop over. There is as much or as little to do locally and some great options to eat out or as we did dined sat on the balcony taking in the wonderful view and waiting for the odd fleeting visit from a Fantail or two. It was such a relaxing space and we were blessed with a clear night so stargazing was a real treat. This is a wonderful location to recharge batteries and chill !

Aroha’s cabin was super cozy and welcoming—felt like a home away from home. She was really clear with communication and super kind and understanding. You can tell she’s put a lot of thought into making sure guests have everything they need, from great cooking facilities to little extras like a universal charger. We had such an awesome stay! Opononi is one of the most beautiful towns we’ve ever been to—the views are unreal, the swimming is incredible, and the walks are absolutely amazing. Aroha had heaps of great recommendations for things to do, which made our trip even better. We’d come back in a heartbeat!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genossen. Das Apartment ist sehr großzügig, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die Kirsche auf der Torte ist der riesengroße Garten und die Pools! Jo ist sehr freundlich, gibt gute Tipps und ist immer erreichbar falls etwas sein sollte. Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben!

We loved this AirBnb set in a really pretty semi-rural part of Kerikeri. A really nice modern space with gorgeous views and a cool river at the bottom of the property which we wished we had time to explore further. Nice and close to Kerikeri town, but far enough away that you could enjoy no traffic noise and lots of stars.

We had an amazing experience at this Airbnb. The space was clean, comfortable and exactly as described , with all the amenities i needed. The location was ideal, close to the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting this area.

We had a great time staying in the Annex for a weekend. The place is tidy, well furnished and quiet. Eileen was incredibly helpful and nice with us. I will definitely try to come back next I go diving in the area.

Elaine is a wonderful host - and the property where the cottage is located is just gorgeous. It was so nice to be greeted warmly and kindly upon arrival, and upon checkout I had the most meaningful conversation I believe I have ever had with a host. Many breakfast items are provided, including coffee and tea. Very helpful for a shorter stay. Thank you!!! There is a friendly dog Pippa who loves cuddles, also a cat stopped by to say 'meow'. The bathroom comes with Venetian blinds - guests might wanna check if they are able to deal with them before the hosts retire for the night.

very comfortable good size for a small family Great place for rest and recreation although Puhoi and Warkworth close . depending on time of day I sat out on the front or back porch The scenery was entertaining and yet relaxing Would love to return

A characterful peaceful oasis. Our host was incredibly warm and friendly. The location is wonderful… views of the beach, right near the amazing boat shed cafe (you must go..atmosphere, coffee and fab food) and close to the ferry. Don’t miss a guided tour of Clendon House! (Follow your nose, almost right next door and fascinating. The guides stunning in their knowledge and enthusiasm). Overall…I highly recommend this place! And … a big sincere thank you!

Andrea and Sherman are amazing human beings... They made us feel so welcome and Sherman ensured for some great laughter during our chats.. And don't let him fool you, if he says something isn't that great, believe you me, it will be absolutely lovely... Having fresh orange juice refilled daily, avocados and oranges placed in the fruit basket outside, really made us feel cared for by the hosts.. The orchards ensure for a relaxing feeling and just pure bliss... I would definitely recommend anyone to enjoy a great relaxing stay at the Valencia Cottage..
