Our family and I had a wonderful stay at Jackies, we are all originally from maine, and her home gives you everything great about maine. We really felt at home, it snowed christmas eve which made it even more beautiful ( The driveway was plowed out early as well). I brought a small christmas tree with us on our trip up, and when we walked in, the place was decorated for christmas, which was just amazing and so thoughtful. We definitly plan on staying again, the next time we are back in maine. Thank you again Jackie!

This is a great place to stay don’t even hesitate to book this place. The place looks more better in person I am not exaggerating and Katy is a great host she records everyone’s experiences in a book which is someone unique I have seen until now. She’s responsive, helpful and very understanding host. Thank you ! For this wonderful stay we started out new year 2025 at Katy’s place and it was amazing

Seven stars out of five! We have stayed in numerous places in Maine over the years, and given a lot of five star reviews. This one surpasses them all, hence the off the charts grade. It is incredibly well provisioned, spotless, spacious, inviting, and has an enormous porch with a view so lovely it looks fake. You can't even hear your neighbors, let alone see them. We heard loons, crows, and one very belligerent owl, but not once did we hear our neighbors. The only way you will know the tenant is home, is that a car will park opposite on the side of the house from you. The fire pit makes it easy and convenient to host a fire, even if it is only for 45 minutes or so. Kayaks are provided along with life jackets. At night you can see millions of stars. Place is so peaceful and comfortable, we almost didn't make it into the park haha. We will definitely be back!

We were in town for the Damariscotta Pumpkin Festival and this home is very convenient and so cool. We loved the open concept and the privacy. The space was great for making breakfast before launching out for a day of fun. Thank you for the great instructions on the TV and Coffee, both were appreciated. This is a very nice place and I would recommend.

Beautiful restored farm house with enough room for 4 adults and 3 kids for a family getaway! We were able to cook dinners with a very well equipped kitchen and enjoy the fire pit in the backyard with incredible sunsets. Our kids loved the hike to the river on the property and our family really enjoyed spending a day at the Coastal botanical gardens which was only a few minutes drive away from the house!

Tammie’s place was wonderful and very well maintained. We were in town for a special event and they went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were well taken care of. They even made sure that our young kids had some toys to play with outside in the snow. When we had questions, they were quick to respond. They even checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this location, especially if you have a family.

This place was so quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for our family while we were visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Stayed here a few days while exploring New England. It’s a little bit out of the way for Bar Harbor etc. but we had cars so not a big deal. This place would be perfect in the summer with a family and kids. The single living room heater struggled to heat the whole place once temps dropped to the 50s. The place is nicely decorated and we enjoyed our evenings there.

We had a great stay. The location was ideal and everything we needed was supplied. The house was exactly as pictured and well stocked and very clean. Chelsey was very responsive to any questions and they also dropped off some very thoughtful sweet treats! Highly recommend and we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

We were completely satisfied with our stay. The apartment was exactly as described - this is a complement! The furnishings are a nice combination of modern and older pieces. There are interesting art and craft pieces, and I kept discovering thoughtful touches throughout the stay. Katie clearly though about making this a welcoming space.

This was our second stay at the Cottrell House. The location can’t be beat. It’s nestled off the main street with access to the river while within easy walking to stores and restaurants. The apartment is quiet and clean. Lissette is a wonderful host.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we hope to visit again!!

Nancy greeted us warmly upon arrival, making us feel instantly welcome. Her place is in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and offers thoughtful touches like muffins, coffee, tea, and bottled water. Prices are extremely reasonable. The space was exceptionally clean, spacious, and well-stocked with extra blankets, pillows, and bath linens. We will definitely stay at Nancy’s again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Pittsfield area.

Donna’s place was even better than expected. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. Donna was up front about there being no kitchen right away which allowed us to plan ahead and be prepared. The area was beautiful and so peaceful and the huge windows facing the lake were a delight to wake up to each morning. During the days we explored Acadia National Park, just an hour drive away on 1 or 2 roads (always felt shorter) and in the evenings we enjoyed a campfire, stargazing at the end of the dock, and always looked forward to warming up in the hot tub that was always hot and ready for us. This place was perfect for our beautifully cold Acadia winter vacation and felt like a great deal for what we got. I would definitely recommend.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

We had the most magical engagement weekend ever in this beautiful space. Thank you for hosting with such TLC and being amazing at what you do! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPACE!!!!

Larry and Lisa were so nice and friendly! The property was cozy and peaceful and the perfect place to relax. Any questions we had, Larry was available to answer almost immediately. Loved seeing the deer at night too. Thank you for a great stay!

We had an amazing stay! The cabin is very private, and the hot tub was amazing. We had fun exploring Camden, Belfast, and Rockland! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay. 20 minutes from Belfast with great restaurants. 1 hour from Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The place was very nice and relaxing. I would 100% come back again.

A great private place to stay when visiting Acadia! Only about 40 minutes away from Bar Harbor.

We had a very restful three days at Rod’s lovely cabin. This is a fantastic place to stay for those seeking to experience the midcoast area for what it is (without all the tourist traps and hustle and bustle that you’ll find in Bar Harbor area). Don’t sleep on this gem!

We loved Brian’s little cabin! It was so cute and cozy for our short trip.
