We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samantha's place in Cushing. To say that she is "very responsive" would be an understatement. She typically responded within 10 minutes no matter what my question was. She lives a short distance away which really helped facilitate things. We had a minor issue with the Internet which required communication with the service provider, but she coordinated everything and resolved it right away. The house is totally charming - old, a bit creaky and adorable - and well maintained (no issues there). We imagined how great it would be to visit in wintertime and snuggle up to a roaring fire. They have an expansive yard with gardens great for a short evening stroll. Forest habitat behind the property was great for bird watching. The area is absolutely beautiful - quintissential coastal Maine. The Olson House (local attraction) is a few minutes drive from the house. The grounds have a walking trail along the water with fantastic views of the coast.

We came to Bar Harbor for the MDI Marathon, and this ended up the perfect location, just two blocks from the start line. Price-wise it was comparable to any hotels for the four of us and the full kitchen helped us save some time and money by prepping most of our own meals. Having laundry was a huge plus for a longer stay and being able to pack less. Everything was well-maintained and Sara gave us great info and local recommendations before our stay. Would definitely recommend!

This was the perfect rental for our family of 4 for the thanksgiving holiday. The home had everything we needed and wanted, great location within walking distance of so many great places in Rockland, and was clean and comfortable. Alicia went out of her way to provide recommendations for our stay! This is probably the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at and the most helpful host we’ve encountered. Highly recommend and thank you to Alicia and family for making our week so enjoyable while spending time with our kids on their college break.

Our stay was absolutely perfect. Robard did everything he could to make us feel welcome. We had a few questions given that we were visiting in the off seasoning and he always responded quickly and helpfully. His place was clean and cozy!

We had an amazing time over valentines day weekend. There was a snow storm and Kent snow blowed around our vehicle to make sure we could get out. The house is very comfortable and peaceful, amazing view of the river and just off the road enough to not be bothered by passing traffic. Definitely recommend!!!!

"From my daughter: This is our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park, but the first time at this Air B&b. Originally it was supposed to be for 5 of us, but 3 couldn't make it, so it ended up just being my husband and I. The Air B&b is in a remote enough area that it is nice and peaceful, but still an easy 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere on Mt. desert island. The house has so many thoughtful touches, like an area outside for a campfire, supplies for smores, basic seasoning and condiments, all the light switches labeled (so thankful for that!), etc. We did a grocery run our first day and came back to the house for almost all our meals. This was a cozy place and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island and would return here again if we come back in the future."

The home was very welcoming and accommodating for our family of 5. The views were spectacular at sunrise, sunset and during the snowstorm. Bald Eagles and hawks would land in the trees right in front of the house. Also, there was a skating pond down the street my family love to visit almost each evening. There was an alarm going off as soon as we arrived, Debbi was incredibly fast responding and sending someone to check it out clear it up. On the plus someone came and plowed the driveway after the snowstorm it was great. She left a basket of local food and my family ate it up. We are so thankful for our relaxing week and would love to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this Maine house--Barb, the property manager was incredibly responsive, helped with a heating issue while we were there and had the repairs done same day--The house was well equipped with everything you need for a family getaway at the beach! puzzles and games galore, kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for family meals (including lobster cooking essentials--bibs, crackers, steam pots) Great little fire pit out front which we enjoyed, and fenced in back yard area so pets or kids can be safely contained :) Linens, towels, all clean and provided--truly a wonderful home away from home, perfect for our family trip to the beach!

Our stay was fantastic. The place was clean and laid out nicely. It was also close enough and an easy drive to Acadia National Park. Highly recommend, and I would definitely come back and stay here again!

My family and I had another great stay at Kathleen’s. We arrived and were so grateful for a clean and comfortable stay. We cooked lobster and were so happy to see that Kathleen’s kitchen had everything we needed. Excited to go back a third time!

We had the most incredible experience at Chelsey & Andrew's place! The home was absolutely immaculate—spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed. Chelsey & Andrew went above and beyond by leaving us thoughtful treats, which was such a warm and welcoming touch. Their recommendations for local attractions and dining were fantastic, and we loved exploring the area based on their suggestions. When a snowstorm hit during our stay, they were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our stay and ensuring we were safe and comfortable. They even shoveled and plowed multiple times to make sure we could get out when needed. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb stays I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend Chelsey & Andrew enough. We’re already looking forward to returning in the future!

Super fun place. Great for 1-3 People. I thought this place was perfect… no washer and dryer on site but there is a place down the street. Also no freezer which for me wasn’t a huge deal. I really loved the place great location. I would definitely book again.

This spacious place was perfect for a getaway! So close to restaurants , shops and Belfast Harbor walk, yet so quiet at night.

Had a wonderful stay at Mandy’s! I love that she was so proactive and direct with all of the instructions for the home (even a picture where to park). The house is exactly as described. We enjoyed all of the Maine touches. The home was extremely tidy and clutter-free. There is parking for two vehicles on site and local restaurants, shops, and entertainment are a very short walk away. We were away after some snow and came back to the snow being cleaned up in the parking lot. The house is well insulated and felt warm and cozy during negative Maine Winter temperatures. There was nothing negative or worrisome about our stay.

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

We had a wonderful stay at Heather's condo. It was cozy, clean and the location was perfect! I would definitely recommend Heather's place to anyone looking to stay in Boothbay Harbor.

We visited during the first week of March and it was still winter weather, but we were warm and had a wonderful time! We did not hear the airport during the night and slept soundly. Very quiet, very comfortable, very clean! The shared house and hot tub are awesome and the maintenance crew was very kind and helpful as needed. We hope to come back again! Thank you!

Great location just off the main street in Brunswick - short walk to restaurants, shops, the river and Bowdoin College. Super comfortable beds and space to spread out in the living room/breakfast area. Kitchen was functional for breakfast and easy lunch/dinner. Parking off the street was a plus. Note, there is a set of stairs to the apartment that are not super wide, so toting a large bag/suitcase is a bit of a challenge.

Great location! Near everything you would want. Probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever seen.
