Great place and great hosts! My husband and I worked from the Airbnb and was the perfect amount of space. Ocean and city view from the bedroom is a bonus. Some tips: Google maps is accurate, however it will likely default to the back way to get there which is less optimal. Without sharing the location too closely, you’ll want to take the main road of Maude Proudfoot. Put a pin as a first stop on the road and you’ll be all set. We did walk the alternative route (main road doesn’t have sidewalks so don’t recommend) although it’s a steep hill and takes 20-30 minutes to get to town. I don’t recommend in the evening. Safe during the day. Costed us $40 for 2 people in a shared taxi from the airport (cash only) including our 3 bags. The taxi wanted to talk to someone and the host immediately answered and we were all set. Personally, I would get a rental car.

One of the best rentals we have stayed at! David and Denise were fantastic hosts that thought ahead about every need and amenity. Additionally, the walking distance to Peter Bay was very convenient and provided for excellent snorkeling. We certainly plan to stay there again in the future!

Ray and Cheri were super helpful and very kind. My flight got in after the last ferry, and they helped me find a reliable private transfer, then picked me up at the dock on Water Island when I arrived. The space was quiet, peaceful, and just up the hill from the beach. It was exactly what I needed for my stay.

Such a beautiful resort! The room was exactly as described! Our room allowed us to have a nice view of the ocean! There was a minor issue regarding the room that was purchased during check in (had nothing to do with the host) but the staff were lovely and sorted out the issue right away! Would definitely stay again!

A wonderful experience! We really loved the forested location. Really enjoyed the patio in the morning and the evening. The birds and other critters make a glorious noise as the sun goes down. The interior of the Captains Quarters was as pictured and described and had all the amenities we needed. Minifridge worked well and we used it to make ice and cold water for our excursions to the various beaches. The coolers and snorkel equipment provided came in handy as well as the really nice beach towels. There is a very nicely curated book case of novels and guides inside. Colette seems to have thought of everything! We even made a dinner out of the snacks on hand since it didn't seem like a good idea at the time to venture out after dark in the car when we got in the first night. You might think it seems remote when you first get there but after a day of driving all over the island, it becomes very familiar quickly. Nothing on St. John is that far away (unless you have to hike there!).

Make sure to call for directions to the house. St Thomas doesn’t do addresses like most people are used to 😊 Clifford was very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, plenty of towels, some soda in the fridge. I am happy to have stayed there.

Amber’s place is in a nice location. Close to several resorts and the Red Hook downtown. Easily accessible to most places on the island. Enjoyed our stay!

Julie and John's place was everything we needed and were looking for. It was a lovely spot situated in a very private setting with extraordinary views. the apartment was clean, comfortable and has a great screened in porch where we spent most of our time watching the water and birds. It was a short drive into Cruz bay and centrally located to drive to North shore or the East side of the island. We toured the entire island with the help of pointers and suggestions for our hosts but they also allowed us our privacy. I would definitely stay at the Sugarbird House again!

Our stay was amazing! The property was beautiful and quiet. The deck overlooking Cruz Bay was private and had a phenomenal view. Many thoughtful amenities were provided such as beach chairs. We enjoyed our stay very much and my now fiancé proposed on the deck at sunset on a beautiful evening so this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for a great stay!!

The place was lovely and a great value. Carl is a beautiful person who constantly was attentive to any need we had. What an outstanding value! Planning a return visit already. Blessed with this booking.

We really loved staying at Kurt's piece of heaven! I will give 10 stars if I could. Do not hesitate to rent this place, definitely I will come back here!

Great stay. Love Limetree. Well kept. I do think they $50 nightly energy fee should be highlighted a little more when booking but overall great place. Airbnb host was helpful and communication was great! Thank you for a great stay.

Loved the studio. We have stayed in the peterborg area multiple times so it was easy to find since we were familiar with the area. Very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Everything was so nice clean bed was EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE the room has a wet damp smell but it’s on a island so I believe that’s uncontrollable but everything was just as described only thing was frustrating I was not giving the entire address and was lost over a hr in the mountains in the dark driving on the opposite side of the road with everybody blowing at me because I was lost and couldn’t reach anyone sooo make sure you guys get the resort address before you head that way other than that everything was perfect

Seamless check in and check out. Place was as described. I didn’t use all of the amenities but wish I had! The only downside to this place is that there were resort staff doing shady business deals out in the open. It didn’t bother me, but it might be something to consider for other guests.

I did not want to leave ! The best resort ever ! My suite felt like home !! Amazing place to stay don’t think twice !!!
