We absolutely loved our 4 night stay in Blakely Cottage. The location was amazing. The kitchen was very well equipped with the best appliances. Cleaning products were supplied and the toiletries were amazing. The bath robes were a lovely touch. The beds were very comfy. The cottage heating was set to timer, making it warm and cosy. The garden was private and overlooked a huge field. Luckily for us the sheep had vacated the field which meant our Labrador and Shih Tzu enjoyed playing with their ball. Dog bowls, poo bags and dog treats were all provided too. The supply of logs for the fire was more than ample. The welcome basket was the best, red wine, local eggs and sourdough bread, crisps, biscuits, milk, butter to get us started. The walk to the priory and back along the river was idyllic and in the doorstep. We highly recommend visiting.

From even before we arrived at the house richard was on the phone to make sure we were all ok and greeted us on arrival. House was beautiful and richard gave us a tour of the house and showed us where everything was had all facilities we needed and were told to help ourselves to teas coffes croissant biscuits toilitres etc everything you can think of and need richard had for us he even drove us all in and out of the city multiple times nothing was an issue. Would definitely visit again and i think we can all say we are going to miss Richard as he was just the best 👌

Holly House was a lovely Victorian Terraced House, which was spacious, decorated in a modern style, with a fantastic bathroom, and extra loo downstairs, the kitchen was modern and had more than we needed. There was also a garage and a backyard which was great for our dog poppy. The 3 bedrooms were great and enough room for all of us, there was only 4 adults (2 couples), as our 5th person sadly couldn't make it. We had milk, water, orange juice and croissants upon arrival which was a nice extra touch. It was ideal for us as a family and would recommend to other family if they are wanting to stay in the North East, it was a great base for us to attend a family occasion.

Beautiful home. Attentive host. Great dog. What more to say? Hexham and Corbridge well worth the visit. Stay here if/when you do.

Another fab trip to stay here, brilliant spot for the city centre for a large family or small group. House spotless, beds comfy and a lovely wee set of essentials on arrival like milk, bread and biscuits. Parking makes a huge difference in a city centre location like this. Well done Chooi

Great price for the location

Wow, what a great studio. The ensuite bedroom is fantastic and the bath is so luxurious. The kitchen has everything you need and the lounge is lovely and relaxing. Just a short stroll and you are in the centre of Hexham for bars, cafes and restaurants. It's also a great base for exploring g the wider Northumberland countryside. We will definitely be looking to return again soon. Thanks for hosting us.

I booked as a treat for my mum and myself as a Mother’s Day surprise! The process of booking, the venue and hosting couldn’t have been any better - just brilliant! Great place to stay before doing the Great North Run. Spacious, clean and quiet flat, with parking and about 15mins walk to Metro station.

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

I had a really lovely stay; I was visiting my daughter and chatting with Rosie added an unexpected very pleasant element to my weekend. I can highly recommend as the place was cosy, clean and full of small touches that made me feel more like a member of the family than a paying guest. Rosie cooks a brilliant breakfast and had made a fresh fruit salad for me too ! Having the whole top floor was a treat as I could relax and not worry I was disturbing anyone. Wonderful !!

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! We can't say enough about Lydia and Arthur's home. Their welcome was so friendly and warm - just genuinely caring and kind people and they have thought about everything to make guests feel at home and comfortable. It's a beautiful space, immaculate, so quiet and peaceful (we had the best night's sleep), and the breakfast was delicious. They have thought about every detail and have added so many lovely touches. They have clearly gone above and beyond. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and this place will be on our list of 'must return' to places. Very highly recommend. Thank you both for such a lovely warm stay. We appreciate it very much.

Moira kept in touch from the moment we booked with handy directions and was flexible with our arrival time. We had a lovely stay, like home from home, which is just what we needed with the dog as she gets very anxious otherwise.

Margaret's B&B was lovely. The booking and communication was very good. On arrival Margaret was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, very clean, bright and tidy. Lovely light room with roof windows and beautiful views. Comfy bed and all the items you would need for a stay. It was the perfect B&B for my work trip and would be happy to stay there many more times. I would recommend this B&B to anyone.
