The stay at Kimberleys property was hassle free, communicative and delivered on all fronts. Any enquiry was met immediately with a solution and even those were minor personal questions or preferences. The stay was a functional one being a base for a sports tournament but it was a pleasure to come back to and enjoy every moment - easily somewhere that could have been used as a holiday destination for far longer (and my family were disappointed not to be able stay longer) but unsurprising that this was already booked well in advance. Absolutely no criticism, this was a delightful stay that overdelivered on all fronts and will be a top search as soon as the next tournament dates are confirmed, if not before! Kimberley, thank you for looking after my family so well, it is appreciated (and by no means the norm as we travel a lot) and you should be very proud of the service you and your team deliver.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Cronkley Cottage as a group of four with one dog. It is in a fabulous location right next to the reservoir, and the walks were great for our dog. The cottage is situated in a really peaceful area and was easy to find following the information provided. Self-check-in was straightforward using the keypad, and the manual sent ahead of our stay was really helpful and answered all of our questions. The property has lots of amenities to use and offers good space for four adults and a dog. It would be even better in the summer to make use of the BBQ/outdoor area. There were even dog bowls, a towel, and poo bags provided, which came in useful as we were staying with our dog. Emma had great communication, and it was a pleasure to stay there. Would recommend and hope to stay again in the future. Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Findara. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with lots of thoughtful touches. The surrounding countryside and coastline is stunning, and Lydia and Arthur provided great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. We hope to come back. Thank you for a wonderful week.

A lovely garden sanctuary. Beautiful grounds and host is agreeable to letting you roam around and enjoy the space. There are walking paths nearby and a great Indian restaurant. Place is very quiet. We had a lovely stay

Beautiful house with lovely decorations/ extra touches such as candles, cosy blankets etc. The log burner made the house feel cosy and there was plenty of logs provided. The kitchen/dining area was very well equiped with plenty of plates etc. There were also lots of extras provided such as washing up liquid, bin bags, tea, coffee, sugar etc. The only thing we needed to buy was some dishwasher tablets. The bathroom was probably the one area that wasn't 5 star as the hot tap handle kept falling off. The shower was also very noisy and leaked so this could only be used when everyone was awake (if you have any older members in your party they will probably need to use the ensuite shower as the shower in the bathroom is over the bathtub which has very high sides so is tricky to get in/ out of). Overall a beautiful house in a tranquil setting. Thank you.

The house was exactly what we needed, a warm comfortable place with easy parking. Comfortable beds, well equipped, plenty of hot water and a nice outlook into the garden. We arrived when it was dark and struggled to access the key pad with no light. A movement activated light would have been v helpful. Susan was so easy to contact and always helpful. Thank you Susan for your patience.

Loved our stay at Lake cottage. Very comfortable and lots of room. The beds were comfortable, it would be nice if there was a mirror in the twin bedroom. The water pressure in the showers was great. Ideal location for the Northumbrian coast, we visited Amble, Alnwick, Holy Island and Banburgh. The garden was nice and secure for our 2 dogs. The estate was nice to have a stroll around.

Just what we needed, time away from the real world. Amazing walks at Hareshaw Linn not far away. The weather was amazing too which really made this experience even better Highly recommended 💯

What an amazing find! it is a beautiful little village next to a pub that serves excellent food, best mushroom risotto I have ever had! We walked up a nearby hill to Drakes stone and the view was great, we looked around the ruin castle in the village and did a walk by the river all without having to get in a car. Location was peaceful and quiet and our dog had the best time ever. I highly recommend this place, the cottage itself is spotless and has everything you need utensils and appliance wise. There is a small shop in the pub next door. Karen communicated really well and I would definitely stay here again. We also travelled to nearby places such as Craster, Alnwick, Rothbury and Kielder from here and although it is a little journey the scenery is well worth it.

We had a wonderful family break full of fantastic days out and chilled out evenings at the house. Everything was set for a great holiday by choosing this home which catered for everyone’s needs.

Fantastic week away, Edward was a beautiful place to stay, very cozy and immaculately presented. The area is so peaceful and scenic with plenty of places to visit, would love to visit again and definitely recommend.

This was my second stay at the farm. The first was with family. This one was solo, so I stayed in the Gardener's Cottage, which was the perfect size for me (or me +1). I had grown up 2 miles away, but now live in the US. My parents live locally, and I was visiting them in care homes. After dispiriting days with very aged, very demented parents, Deborah's place is such a welcome, calm, gorgeous retreat. I needed it. Each of the properties on the farm is immaculate, extraordinarily comfortable, the opposite of cluttered, with just a few choice books and other beautiful items. V.comfy bed! The quality of the property, Deborah's welcome, and the views over to Gibside (National Trust Property) through the morning mists, bright afternoon sun, or even this morning in snow flurries, make this property stand out. And I have to give Deborah a shout-out: on my first day, she drove me to my father's care home, several miles away, just to be kind. And on my last, part way to my mother's.

We cannot reccomend a stay at capheaton estate highly enough. A beautiful cottage, with comfortable and luxurious finishing touches in incredibly peaceful surroundings, responsive and helpful hosts. Such a wonderful place to relax, away from the busy world, but close to some great pubs and within reach of key attractions. Would happily stay again.

We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Perfect position for us, quiet and out of the way but lots of walking and mountain biking right on the doorstep. The cottage is beautifully done, very clean and has more than enough facilities and equipment to cater for cooking etc. The hosts were brilliant and communication with them was very easy. We will definitely stay again. A fantastic property in the most beautiful of settings!

Aline did a fine job in presenting a very good flat, located in/above the cobbled stable courtyard. The space was quiet, private and thoroughly enjoyable…and we certainly would highly recommend it and may well return if we’re back in the area. Also, two bedrooms with what we call ‘king’-sized beds…very comfortable! Overall - Excellent!

Lovely spot, very peaceful. Super cosy house, nicely decorated and fitted out. Very warm, loads of hot water and logs for the fire. Will return. Great hosts and Northumberland is an extremely friendly county.
