George was very accommodating and conscientious of our group, as we had a late flight change and were able to store our luggage in the foyer while we explored the Snowking festival on our last day in Yellowknife. The games and book collection in the foyer were a perfect complement to our cozy days in, and the balcony views were absolutely amazing - dog sledders and cross country skiiers in the day, and incredible aurora viewing every single night! George's home was perfect for our trip to Yellowknife - highly recommended!

One of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. Brent and Sara have thought of everything you need. The apartment is spacious, very clean, has a kitchen with some snacks and all kinds of kitchenware. The apartment is also within a short walk from the center but slightly outside which gives you great conditions in terms of light pollution for the aurora. We were able to see the aurora from our doorstep whenever the sky was clear. If you’re ever in yellowknife, this is the place to stay.

Great place, close to the lake, parks and downtown. We had a great stay and would come back again.

My wife and I just returned from a 10-night stay at Michel's wonderful guest suite at his house in the Niven Lake area of Yellowknife. It was perhaps the very best Airbnb experience we've ever had. Michel is friendly and highly considerate of his visitors, and his guest suite is furnished for comfort and enjoyment. The kitchen is well-equipped and has all the cooking tools needed to prepare entire meals. The bathroom is spotless and the tub/shower combo has excellent water pressure and temperature. The bedrooms have plenty of closet and dresser storage space, and comfortable mattresses. The living and dining areas are very nice spaces to unwind after a day of activities. Finally, the washer and dryer are big pluses! Location-wise, it's ideal; you can reach Old Town and Downtown on foot if you're up for a nice walk, or just a few minutes away by car. Michel's house is very near a trail that loops around the entirety of Niven Lake. We're certain we'll be staying here again. Excellent!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Dès l'arrivée la bibliothèque du salon a mis notre fils tout de suite à l'aise quand il a reconnu les livres de Harry Potter et la citation d'un des livres sur un bibelot en bois. La cuisine était super fonctionnelle et nous avons fait livrer une commande d'épicerie facilement du supermarché Independent. De plus, en cuisinant nous avions une vue superbe de la ville de Yellowknife. Nous avons eu la chance de voir les aurores boréales 3 nuits de suite en traversant simplement la rue et en montant par un escalier jusqu'au monument des pilotes d'où nous avions une vue à 360 degrés. De ce même endroit durant le jour nous pouvions aussi y voir les îles Jolliffe et Latham ainsi que la baie Back et la baie de Yellowknife. Vu que nous étions là en mars nous avons pu visiter le château du Snowking Festival construit directement sur la baie de Yellowknife (à 15 minutes de marche) et voir aussi la route de glace qui relie Yellowknife et Dettah.
