Stayed in the Spoolmak cottage and it was very cozy and homey. The hosts were very friendly. The cottage has plenty of amenities which was great for cooking. Would definitely come back!

This is the perfect place to stay in Yellowknife! Amazing location in old town, right by the brewery and within walking distance to the city. We saw beautiful northern lights right outside our cabin. The kitchen was equipped with everything you’d need to cook your own meals. Inside, it was always cozy and warm, which was very much appreciated given the -30temps outside. We would definitely stay here again.

Cordwood Chalet, You’re Beautiful! We couldn’t be more pleased to have the opportunity to stay here for the weekend. It was Nicole’s 30th Birthday and this cabin checked all the boxes for the perfect weekend getaway in the woods, it certainly did not disappoint. We spent some time by the fire and ate pies for Pi Day the first night (Pie Junkie, if you’re from Calgary you already know :)). The views are amazing and the silence is a reminder that taking time away can be very grounding and that conversation goes a long way without the distractions of cellphones, TV’s, and emails. We spent our second night by the fire again, but tested our cooking talents with a lasagna recipe we forgot to write down. We really enjoy how the natural light reaches all of the spaces in the cabin, makes you feel immersed in all the beauty surrounding the property. Nic & Jay

What an incredible stay, it was the perfect way to finish off our 2 week honeymoon. The cabin is perfectly secluded but super easy to access all the amenities Julie has on offer, including Archery which was great fun on our last day. Although we didn’t see a bear, we were treated to the most amazing northern lights we’ve ever seen-it was mind blowing! The cabin also has phone reception (just) if you sit on the bed upstairs!

Natalie’s communication was excellent prior to my stay. This made finding the location and check-in very easy. There was lots of attention to detail in the cabin to make me feel right at home, comfortable, and have everything I needed. Her care for her guests was very evident, and made for a lovely stay.

My wife and I stayed at the The Golden Basecamp for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. So peaceful and quiet, 10 min drive from downtown Golden. We had one incredible night of watching the Aurora borealis dance above us, and not to mention the countless outdoor activities surrounding the area. Thank you for making it truly special!

The Rusty Antler Cabin is a cute little house in the backyard of Suzannes property. It could be considered a little small, but it has everything you need. If your plan is to explore Wells Gray Park and to be on the road most of the time but also have a cozy place to come home after a long day, this is the place for you. For us it was a perfect match an Suzanne provided us with lots of useful information and great suggestions. She was really friendly and gave us a warm welcome after our arrival.

Linda and Al were such kind and generous hosts and we loved our time at the cabin. It was so serene being surrounded by ginormous trees and mountains painting the landscapes right as you step out of the front door of the cabin. To make it even better, there was a pig, majestic horses and some incredibly friendly dogs that greeted us and protected us. Everyday, it was a nice surprise to have the dogs run up to us and try to play or get our attention. The cabin itself is very cozy and comfortable - it is perfect for two people and it heats up really well and gets toasty in the winter. The wood cabin, all the decorations, and even the dishes all perfectly matched the setting we were in and it was a lovely stay. We would love to be back!

I’ve stayed at quite a few Airbnbs and Sandra’s was one of the most memorable and unique stays! The outdoor shower and all the beautiful places to lounge outdoors and enjoy nature were definitely highlights, as was Sandra’s cheerful hospitality.

Muriel and Frank are exceptional hosts who go beyond simply offering a place to stay. They create a warm, welcoming environment that truly makes guests feel at home. We had a wonderful weekend at their charming little farm. The kids especially enjoyed collecting fresh eggs each morning after the delicious complimentary breakfast. With beautiful trails just a 15-minute drive away, the experience was even more enriching. It’s definitely worth both the time and money!

Despite a winter storm blowing outside, the cabin was warm and comfortable. Lovely place to kick back with a book or a movie when the weather is howling outside. The kitchen is well stocked and I really like having a bathtub rather than just a shower. Tracy and Scott are right next door and responded very quickly to any inquiries we had. It’s nice that they accept pets, too. Manitou has a great dog park, but we didn’t go there this trip due to the snow. We will happily return to the cabin on another visit to Saskatchewan. Many thanks for a nice stay.

Beautiful, clean and cozy place to relax and enjoy. Hosts were communicative and helpful with making me familiar to the places nearby.

If you are looking for a quiet private place this is the place you were looking for. The property is pristine and well-maintained.

Perfect getaway to escape town for a little while. Very quiet and peaceful and a great place to sit out and watch the sunrise in peace and quiet. Everything was clean and tidy with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I will be back

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was so helpful. Cabin was so clean and nice. Every single thing that we could ask for in the kitchen was there. We had such a great time here in the moose cabin. Will definitely book again

We just returned from a 4 day stay with our toddler. The cabin is amazing, well stocked and everything is meticulously labeled. I love the extra personal touches - the Instax mini with preloaded exposures made for cool vintage photos of the family which will be cherished forever, and there was even a handwritten note when we arrived. The cabin is thoughtfully designed with tons of storage but the star has to be the screened deck - we enjoyed hanging out on the deck, listening to the wind in the trees and feeling the light snow blow through. This place would be awesome in summer too - outdoor space without worrying about bugs! Everything is tidy and clean and we loved our peaceful few days here. We took our toddler on a sled on the road that the property backs onto and he loved it. This cabin is wonderful and is worth every penny. Instructions were super clear for check-in/out and Whitney was very responsive - she was a perfect host. Thank you and we’d love to stay again!

This cabin was exactly I needed. I loved how private and secluded it was. I travel quite regularly and I do mostly stays in cabins like Luise's. But Louise's cabin was by far the most cosiest one. I loved that there was a plenty of firewood outside ( I got to practise my choppin skills with an axe) :D And had the possibility to have an outdoor fire under the stars. I did appreciated that there was no wifi or reception, which helped me to disconnect with the outside world and enjoy ME time by the fire and read a book. I hope I stick around as I would love to come back for a longer weekend. Thank you Louise

It was my third time staying at Peter's cabin. It's always lovely being up there. The cabin has lots of unique touches like hammocks, a hanging woven chair, a woodstove, the sauna and the welcoming committee: Hopper the goat and Neechi the dog. Peter is always a very helpful host, my auger wasn't working great and he went out of his way to find a solution. Steep Rock provided an abundance of fish, relaxation and fun!! I got to go on a little snowmobile rip and also made a nice exchange of fresh fish for some smoked fish :) If you like feeling at home, secure with trustworthy folk and in nature this place will suit you perfectly.

My family and I had an amazing experience at the Techno Cabin. If it looks great in photos, it’s even more beautiful in person! I booked it for us to celebrate my birthday, to unplug and recharge, and it was the perfect choice. The place is extremely peaceful and private! The sauna was the cherry on top.🤩 Hilary and Jordan were amazing hosts and so sweet to talk to! They were exceptional, always warm and attentive, making our experience even more special. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to be back! ✨

Tracy was a perfect host , she was very accommodating, we needed to extend our stay she had no issues at all. Her place was a perfect size for my husband and I . We will be returning to stay at her spot again . Will recommend her to our family coming in to see our new granddaughter.
