The listing and pictures really understate how lovely this place is! Very clean, cozy, yet modern and new feeling. Location was a great jumping off point to Diamond Beach, Glacier Lagoon and hikes. Quiet and beautiful surroundings.

It’s been definitely one of my best AirBnB experience. This cottage is absolutely delightful! We loved every minute of our stay. And Anna Maria is a super welcoming host. I highly recommend this place as a great base for exploring stunning Austurland

The house was very clean, and the landlord was pleasant. Be aware that although the description says “entire home” the private office described is actually another rental. When we were there we were very surprised to see people bringing their luggage in around the corner of the house. All in all it was a nice experience. We were able to walk around the corner and enjoy feeding beautiful Iceland horses at the farm ,

Wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft. Die Blockhütte ist wirklich sehr gemütlich und ebenso die Gemeinschaftsräume. Außerdem ist alles mit so viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Man kann sich hier nur wohlfühlen! Elsa ist eine wahnsinnig tolle, herzliche Gastgeberin. Und ihr Brot ist wahnsinnig schmackhaft gewesen! Wir hatten zusätzlich das Glück wunderbare Nordlichter von der Unterkunft aus zu sehen. Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt in der Blockhütte, wir würden definitiv wieder kommen :)

We had an amazing stay, we hiked up behind the home and saw some beautiful waterfalls. The home was warm and inviting, and the hot tub was perfect!

Beautiful cottage, and the kitchen was super well equipped as well. We spotted Northern Lights from the Porch in the night. Jakobina was always responsive and helpful and we even had the chance to meet her husband during check out. The house has lil Icelandic charm and books to read as well. The outdoor heater and washing machine were very useful. Could love to come back.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich toll! Sehr modern und schön eingerichtet, wir haben uns von Beginn an sehr wohlgefühlt! Man hat dort alles, was man braucht. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt dort und hatten auch das Glück, Nordlichter von der Unterkunft aus zu sehen. Wir würden definitiv wieder kommen :)
