We arrived about an hour early ans Susan let us go ahead and check in. We walked in and found a very clean comfortable living space with books, fireplace, binoculars, ext.There were fresh flower on the conter with a card welcoming us and giving us there phone number if we needed anything. Susan also left fresh farm eggs in the fridge. Everything was clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. ( with the exception of food of course.) The hot tub was clean and ready even though we did not use it. The weather was not in our favor.

Autumn made our group feel right at home and was so responsive and kind. 10/10 recommend.

This Eastsound home on Cascade Bay, adjacent to Rosario Resort, is a perfect San Juan Island getaway. Despite the resort's proximity, it's extremely quiet and private. The view of the bay and marina from the deck is wonderful, offering a picturesque backdrop. The home is comfortable, spacious yet cozy, and well-appointed with thoughtful details. The bathrooms are stocked with soaps and lotions, and the kitchen is fully equipped with herbs, spices, and cooking oils. High-quality linens, including towels, sheets, and comforters, add a touch of luxury. The location is ideal for walks and hikes, with Moran State Park nearby. We enjoyed hiking around the beautiful Cascade Lake. A minor downside was the 4 pm check-in and the lack of response to our request for an earlier check-in. However, the 10 am checkout was convenient for our ferry schedule. Travel Tip: Plan your trip to Orcas Island in advance. Secure ferry reservations through the Washington State Dept of Transportation website

An absolute gem! If you want solitude, need to replenish your soul's serenity, or simply want astounding views, then book this place ASAP! Matthew is a considerate host, leaving wine and snacks and calling to check in on you to make sure all is going smoothly. I hope to return again...sooner rather than later!

This is a really special home. Exactly as pictured/described, right on a sandy beach with a huge level lawn (perfect for soccer, balls provided). The house was very well stocked and extremely clean (at one point we lost something in/under the couch and were shocked at how clean it was). It felt less like a vacation rental and more like staying at a friend's beloved beach house- in a good way. Dave and BJ live next door and were so kind and friendly but gave us plenty of privacy. This part of the bay has nice calm clear water. The road was quiet enough to walk on. There is a county park next door with a playground best for young kids.

Bill's farm provided a welcoming and reasonably peaceful space for our recent visit to Whidbey. With few screens, little cellular coverage, and a well supplied woodstove, this property proved an excellent fit. Shawn shared helpful background about the property, as well as straightforward logistics for checking out. Our family is hoping to return soon! Thanks again!

This place was so lovely. We had a great time celebrating New Year's with our dogs. The beach is literally right off the back. Lots of bird and sea creature watching to be had out the huge windows. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. Loved the little touches like the dog toys and dog bed for our pups. We would stay here agin in a heartbeat!

A very cozy stay at the cottage with the family (two parents, one kid, one dog)! The place was great - comfortable and clean. Great communication with host. Would stay there again for sure.

Connie's place is the perfect place to go to unplug. Very quiet, easy to get to, cozy and still close to all the local things. The water is steps away and you can fall asleep to the waves crashing onto the beach. The mornings are wonderful to just sit in the living room with your coffee and watch the sun come up and the area wake up before heading out. Connie was very responsive and suggested places to eat in Anacortes. Highly recommend !

SO many people love to claim to be this “super host”. Well Shyni and her brother were amazing! The epitome of “super host”!!!! The cutest cabin, exactly as described!! There was anything you’d ever need in the kitchen, the bed was the MOST comfortable bed EVER!!I’m disabled and needed to check in early and was accommodated so fast. We are born and raised Orcas Islanders, we have seen the islands! I’ve never seen the view that I witnessed from Shyni’s place. My favorite things are a fire and a gorgeous dark storm, I was not disappointed. We will book with Shyni and her family as much as we need to get off our island! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We had a great stay. Mimi was very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot to offer for a family—fenced yard, chickens, fish, and even an outdoor shower. The beach was easy to access and it was a beautiful spot. Our kids especially loved feeding the deer!

After 15 years of visiting the same place on Whidbey Island, we found a new spot! This is a magical little place just a few minutes north of Langley, where we saw an abundance of wildlife, had relaxing mornings and restful sleep! Ashlyn's place was perfect for our family of three. The cute little cottage was full of books and wonderful art. Ashlyn was so accommodating about our arrival and provided us with wonderful recommendations. We will definitely be back! If you do book, make sure you ask about the breakfast - ours was spectacular!!

We've come back to Sunset Cottage many times, and relish the long walks on the beach. We used to only come in the summer, but have learned to love the cold weather and clear air in the winter as well. Walking on the beach and seeing the frost in the early morning light, with the Olympics clear and bold in the background, is awesome!

Had a wonderful girls trip at Jane’s Airbnb! We were right on the water and got to see some beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the porch. Jane was thoughtful and surprised us with a little tote bag for our adventures. It was so cute, the kitchen was great to cook in and we appreciated all the movies on dvd!

We had a relaxing, peaceful stay with our toddler and dog. Caramia was a great communicator, which made the booking and our stay seamless. She had excellent recommendations and a thoughtful house manual full of helpful info. The home had lots of thoughtful touches and had everything we needed. We loved the serene location that was just a short drive to groceries, restaurants, and beautiful hikes. Just an hour drive from Seattle.

We had a wonderful stay at Joe's place above his pottery studio. The place itself was comfortable and peaceful, and very walkable to beach and Doe Bay cafe. Our most delightful experience was with Joe himself. He twice brought us toys for our toddler, and picked flowers for her. We got to understand his perspective on the island as a *very* long time resident. We saw his unique crystal glazed pottery, and how he was teaching a newer generation of artists. Highly recommended!

What a perfect beach home! Lindsay was super friendly and the house was exactly as listed. Great beachfront location where we saw harbor seals and even an orca pod one morning! Home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Can’t wait to visit again!

This was a beautiful estate, both inside and out! The cottage was very clean and tidy when we arrived and there are beautiful hiking trails around the property. The hosts were responsive and answered all of our questions and check-in instructions were smooth. All of the amenities that we needed for a weekend stay were provided and the most special aspect of this listing is the free bottle of wine that we received from their family-run winery. Guests also get a complimentary wine tasting, which was such a wonderful experience right on the coast of the island! I would definitely come back here whenever I'm looking for a quick getaway from the city.

We had an incredible stay at Bayside Cottage! The house is very charming and has everything that you need. We loved the porch overlooking the bay and the short easy walk down to the bay. We hope to return soon!

The cottage was very nice and cozy. A peaceful place filled with love and care and where it is more interesting to read books and talk than watch TV. The fireplace was on when we arrived and gave a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. One room and bathroom. Nice beds. Not possible to cook, but there was a microwave to warm the food we brought and walking distance to restaurants, a fridge and a kettle to warm water for tea. It was a perfect place for a long weekend with a good friend.

My family and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway & had a great time. It was one of the first Airbnb's my partner has commented "looks even better in person!". This is a lovely spot. We'll be back.
