A little difficult finding the place but the cabin makes up for the drive.

The cabin is very cozy and clean! Our pup loved the backyard!

Very nice super easy instructions our host was very quick with messaging back.

Excellent place to stay. Just a few minutes from the visitors center, hiking trails, and fantastic restaurants.

Eathan was quick to respond and accommodated my request of being in town for a day trip with my fiancé for a class ceremony and myself and service dog wanted somewhere to relax until late night when the class ended and we got back in the road, he was very easy to work with as well as polite and prompt, highly recommended

This was our second time at Teena's Cozy Hideaway, which should be a testament to how great the place is. As I've said before, the description doesn't do the place justice. The nicest surprise is the view; you can see for miles (all the way across the river and into the horizon). Tina herself is an excellent, responsive host. I'm already looking forward to our next trip!

This was the second time I’ve rented this place for my family’s new year’s getaway . My family loves it here. Very quiet,relaxing and lots of room. Plus it’s not that far from town to run and pick up extra supplies. Owner is very nice and very responsive if you are in need of anything. Would definitely use again.

Great stay overall, would recommend to a friend! We were climbing in New River Gorge Proper and Summerville, and the house served as a great basecamp. The 2nd floor loft is a very cozy retreat! My only notes are that the interior lighting could use some improvement (low lamps instead of overhead lighting), and blackout curtains would be nice to insulate sleepers from passing headlights. Light sleepers might want to bring earplugs & eye mask to block out the road noise & light.

Host was very timely in response. The cabin was adorable and had lots of cute touches. The hot tub was amazing - all in all our trip was great would stay here again.

A great cabin to get away. The entire property was very clean and it was nice to have so much peace and quiet. Check in was easy- and yes there is hot water which the host provided that update prior to us arriving as there is a glitch where she has tried to update it. Star gazing at night was great. We ran out of propane for the grill but to a nice surprise she was able to locate a house nearby and actually dropped off more which we felt was above and beyond!

Beautiful & cozy cabin! Had all the necessities we needed plus some! Was welcoming for my kiddos & my dogs! Highly recommended!

This was our second time here in Alderson, and there were more than many reasons to come here again. The area may seem quiet and isolated, but we still did not manage to check everything off our extensive list, which keeps growing. The cabin is adorable and truly the coziest and comfiest thing we could have wanted for our break. Thank you, Audrey and Kevin, for making this space available to us!

It was wonderful, me and my wife had a great time and enjoyed every moment. The view was great, nice private place, and they were very helpful when we needed. 10/10 will come again!!!

We enjoyed our stay very much. This was our 3rd year doing fall trips and this was the perfect place to stay. So close to The New River Gorge National Park, it was perfect.

The Lodge was in a beautiful wooded peaceful location and was well maintained; everything was well stocked (kitchen utensils, towels, extra blankets et.) Nikki communicated with us the moment we booked and responded within minutes to questions. A winter storm disrupted the electric power for a few hours and Nikki kept us up to date with information about the power being restored. I recommend this home and host highly!!

Beautiful cabin in a very quiet area well worth the money

We loved our stay in the cabin. It was so peaceful. We got visits from deer every evening & shows from the lightning bugs every night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in patio. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax before bed. The twin beds were not very comfortable (& they were also really squeaky). The other beds were fine, though. If you’re terrified of bugs & spiders, this probably isn’t the place for you. They weren’t excessive, but they were regularly visible. Mostly daddy long legs, nothing too scary.

Very nice cabin, my wife and I enjoyed every moment we spent here. Such a cozy place to relax. It was a perfect spot during our trip further east. I would recommend this place to anyone who travels in the area and the host Cristina was great. Thanks for having us, happy new years.

We had a great time. The unfortunate situation was what we chose to stay in which was the only reason we went there had a frozen pipe issue. The cabin was originally from 1840 but we had to stay in a more modern one. They did upgrade us to a bigger cabin but it was only two of us. We did have our hearts set on staying at the original one we chose. It worked out we had a good time actually there was nobody else there and it was very peaceful. He did communicate with us unfortunately it was through email and we were on the road and I did not see it till we got there. Once again it was a good time though.

My family really enjoyed our stay here! It is a nice serene setting and a very clean cabin. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. If we ever make it back to this area, we will definitely be staying here again!

This is such a cute little cabin and in the perfect location for great hikes and restaurants! It was very clean, relaxing and overall a great stay. Would suggest to anyone!

If you are ever in this area and this place is available, jump on it! This cabin is exactly as described and you will not be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay and want to come back in the near future. It was beautiful, peaceful, and cozy! The host had a binder of local amenities and advice on hiking trails at the National Park that was nearby, and this was super helpful!

This was my first Airbnb experience and I can gladly say that this cabin was so amazing it made our trip a great one! With board games, movies, and a fire pit we were never bored when we were just too tired to hike anymore. With the perfect location to the New River Gorge National Park we were very impressed with this Airbnb. The host was very responsive and even offered up suggestions on the best places to go in the area. This by far was one of the best vacations I took and I do owe a lot of that to this Airbnb. Thank you!
