Great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood. Walk able. Can walk to town or take a motor taxi to town or plaza bella. The food in town was wonderful. Fresh tortillas and all stores in the small town have fresh meat, cheese, pastries. There is a little store close to the house, the lady is so helpful and nice. You can get snacks, drinks, ice, pastries without running to town. The yard is beautiful, porch is nice and the pool.

We had a great time at Abdías' house. Abdías was very helpful with local recommendations, from reliable drivers to mezcal tastings, and he was quick to respond to our questions. Lucy, the housekeeper, prepared breakfast for us one morning and it was delicious! It was such a treat to see Kevin, the peacock, every morning and to spend time in the beautiful pool and hot tub. Thank you, Abdías, Flor, and Lucy, for a lovely vacation!

Our group of six very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Utopia. Our kids liked the grounds and the pool and we loved the view and peacefulness. We enjoyed the host's recommendations, like ordering tacos for delivery and (best of all) contracting the private driver Rangel for the week. Humberto helped us when we needed anything, especially with refilling the drinking water. We went out every day for Oaxaca culture adventures and returned the tranquility of Utopia. The outdoor shower was a favorite feature of mine. We would easily book again.

Claude fue muy amable, flexible y nos encantó su VW clásico! El bungalow muy ordenado, con las comodidades necesarias, una cama súper cómoda que nos la queríamos llevar y un jardín enorme para que nuestro perrito pueda correr y merodear. La pasamos muy relajados y tranquilos. Me gustaría volver cuando todo este más verde. Muchas gracias por todo Claude!

This home is such a beautiful option for large groups! It is centrally located but is on a quiet, private street with little foot traffic. The host was very responsive, which is always a plus! If this will be your first time visiting Oaxaca, make sure to pack/purchase bug spray!

Great place. Had a little hick-up with check in as the electricity wasn’t working at first location but Jude and her team were very accommodating and made sure we were taken to their other location which was fine. Steep way to get up to the house so make sure you are able to make it up there as no cars can drive on that driveway walkway. Jude’s great !

Gloria et sa sœur nous ont très bien accueillis pendant la fête des morts. Le logement était propre, conforme aux photos. Le quartier en soi n'est pas très agréable mais il se trouve à 20-25 minutes du centre-ville.

Lovely, comfortable house. The private garden provides a refuge from the city. There are plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance. The gardener and house cleaner were very discrete and did a good job. Bedrooms are comfortable

To spend a week at Casa Tobala is a gift. Relaxing, peaceful, beautifully decorated and above all magnificent. This home is a retreat. It is my 3rd time in this amazing place. Come ready to enjoy the beauty of Oaxaca and the peace of San Pablo Etla.

This is such a beautiful home. The location is really good, you can walk or take a taxi. Two of the rooms have mini splits which help in the Oaxacan sun, two bathrooms, 3 rooms and a TV room the six of us were comfortable and happy with our airbnb and host. I had issues with my flight and Alejandro was helpful and responsive to the last minute requests. Thank you again.

Buen lugar. La casa es muy amplia y tiene todo lo necesario para un grupo grande. A 15/20 min caminando del centro, en buena zona y seguro. Hay cafes y restaurantes a unas cuadras. Tiendas de conveniencia en la esquina. 3 de 4 cuartos tienen AC. La comunicación con Karla fue 10/10.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Hacienda, and were very impressed. The other cabin and the hacienda were empty, so we had the place to ourselves. The pool is gorgeous and there's a great covered area with sofas and hammocks. If you are looking for a quiet escape in Oaxaca City, this is perfect!

Sven es una persona muy amable y dispuesta, Yaret y la señora Horte muy amables y cocinan riquísimo! Hay una paz inigualable en la casa Encuentro. Es poco difícil de llegar pero vale mucho la pena. Mil gracias por todo!

Anabell es muy amable, la alberca está en una temperatura muy agradable, es una hospedaje cómodo y eficiente.

Our stay at la huerta was absolutely delightful. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us warmly and provided a thorough introduction to the bungalow, ensuring we felt at home right away. Their immediate assistance with any request was a testament to their exceptional hospitality. The bungalow itself was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our family. The kids especially loved the pool, which was clean and inviting. Everything we needed for a relaxing stay was provided, including all the basic necessities, and the added convenience of laundry service was a great touch. Security was top-notch, with the gated community offering peace of mind throughout our stay. The location was unbeatable, making it easy to explore the surrounding area and enjoy nearby attractions. Overall, our experience was perfect 10 out of 10 , and we’d highly recommend la huerta to anyone looking for a secure, comfortable, and family-friendly getaway. We’ll definitely be returning.

The house is beautifully decorated. There's a lovely piano, the pool is solar heated and clean, there are hammocks, and the adobe keeps the home naturally cool and quiet. There are great views of the mountains and the city. There is a little market and a big park nearby. The park has a library for kids and an area with toys. There is also a small hotel next door with a fantastic restaurant called Entre Sombras. The staff at the house is helpful and friendly, but they also respect your space. And Marilee is quick to respond. We all enjoyed our time in this tucked away paradise.
