Spacious home and was greeted with a gift at check in. Very responsive host and helpful

The moment we entered the Casa, we knew this place was extra special. We were greeted with a hand written note welcoming us in addition to one of the most beautiful cakes we have ever eaten. The property was private while at the same time hidden within Criollo's restaurant grounds, so eating at the restaurant was just a few steps outside our door. The Casa pictures do not do this property justice. And there's snacks, waters, towels thoughtfully and strategically placed where you need it. The steam shower was absolute bliss, and the courtyard plunge pool and hammock was a nice area to hideaway and decompress.

We had a wonderful stay and we’re happy with the accoutrement of the house. It was very spacious and there was a lot of natural light and the roof deck was a great surprise.

Gigi’s place was absolutely spotless and matched the description. It is in a quiet suburb of Oaxaca which was nice to come back to after a busy day. We were comfortable and felt very safe. Gigi was an excellent hostess who was proactive and responsive. She went out of her way to be helpful to us and checked in from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We would recommend Gigi’s place to other travellers.

el lugar es tranquilo y cómodo realmente a 20 min del centro de Oaxaca, solo son 100 metros de terracería antes de llegar pero un sedan pasa sin problema la casa es muy grande y alberca privada.

Property is great for families, super walkable to shops and restaurants, and the hosts are responsive.

This is a very unique and special place to stay in Oaxaca. The location is perfect for getting into Central Oaxaca. It was wonderful to have the alfresco living in March when it was warm and we could use the dip pool every day. It was great to hang out by the pool upstairs and look out at the lights of Oaxaca in the evening and watch the sunrise in the morning. Damien was very fast to respond when we needed a ride to the airport and in general, we would absolutely rent this place again when we return. We found that the kitchen and the upstairs area provided ample group gathering places for our family. We really appreciate the loving restoration of the house and the traditional architectural details.

Marina’s place. Even though it was a big place just for us (my husband and I) the house itself makes you feel at home. From the decor to the furniture. Clean and spacious. The shower has a decent water pressure which it can be a problem in Mexico. The house does not have AC but each room has a fan and you can open the windows to let the air in. The view from the porch it’s amazing. There’s a small tv room on the second floor that’s where we spent our evenings watching tv. Marina went above and beyond to make sure we experienced Oaxaca to the max. From restaurants, to what plates to try to experience the Moles, places to shop hand made tapestry, what places to visit and where to eat along the way, we definitely were exhausted but grateful to experience the culture, the museums, the food, the history as much as we could thanks to Marina. She’s been the best host we’ve ever had, and the house was like I said home away from home. We’re so grateful and definitely stay there again!

This place was absolutely outstanding. It was our peaceful sanctuary while we were staying in Oaxaca. It had absolutely everything, hosts were kind proactive and responsive. Cleaning ladies were so sweet and went above and beyond. Would certainly stay here again even though the street outside is a bit busy!!

Mi experiencia en este alojamiento fue absolutamente maravillosa. Desde el momento de la llegada, los anfitriones fueron increíblemente amables y atentos, asegurándose de que todo estuviera perfecto para nuestra estancia. La casa es preciosa, impecablemente limpia y decorada con un gusto encantador. La ubicación es perfecta, y el vecindario es tranquilo y seguro. Además, todos los servicios funcionaron perfectamente: Wi-Fi rápido, habitaciones súper cómodas (caben perfecto 6 personas) y una cocina completamente equipada. Definitivamente recomendaría este lugar.

Una casa muy bonita y cómoda, muy segura ubicada en una zona tranquila con todos los servicios que ofrece, muy cerca de tiendas de auto servicio, y a 15 minutos del centro de la ciudad en auto.

The place is as beautiful as in the photos. The decoration is exquisite and the location is in a quiet area which it’s a plus. We came in a group of 8, and we all agreed that the beds were amazingly comfortable. The only downside was that the bathrooms are small and for big groups this can be annoying. The check-in being at 5 pm feels a bit late compared to most of Airbnbs. We’ll definitely repeat next time when we visit beautiful Oaxaca.

Travelled with my husband and 7mo baby. We booked this place super last minute as a second AirBnb unit while in Oaxaca because our first space did not work out for our baby. The house is spacious, clean, looked exactly like the photos. It actually had 3 bedrooms, one smaller room with an ensuite bathroom on the third floor. The rooftop patio was beautiful and shaded- we spent most of our afternoons there instead of walking around because of our baby. The unit also had drinking water spout which a lot of Mexican airbnbs don’t have. Location was fantastic, in Centro but also felt private. The best thing about this Airbnb was the host, olivia. She’s absolutely stellar; responded within the hour, incredibly helpful with recommendations and service. We got our drinking water jug replaced within a day, she organized us a taxi to the airport- just incredible. A/C in bedrooms were a saving grace. Only complaint is pesky neighbouring dogs that barked at night. Also included crib and baby tub!

Ximena's place felt like staying at a friend's beloved home.There's a relaxed, comfy vibe, as shown in the photos, but actually being there, is hard to find words for. It's just very special. Both my friend and I cherished our time there. Some words of advice, pack in your favorite foods, coffee, granola, there's only a small bodega down the road, and frankly once you've landed, you won't wanna leave. The first night Jhonny gave us the name of a wonderful local woman who on relatively short notice prepared us a lovely, healthy meal. Or, venture out to the small restaurant in the village. We ate delicious quesadillas made with fresh tortillas. On hikes, we were told to carry a stick to deter dogs. We never used them but good advice for anyone walking on country roads in Mexico. The dogs we saw were sun sleeping in the middle of the roads. Like I said, it's a good relaxing spot. We loved using the washing machine and hanging our clothes out to dry. We got emotional leaving.

Great place to stay. I was there with my family. It is about 30 min walk from the city though we had rented a car so didn’t ever really walked all the way. Annie was lovely and very communicative. She also got us in touch with Juan, who was a wonderful tour guide. We had a wonderful and comfortable time. Thanks Annie.

La casa está muy bonita, el vecindario es muy tranquilo y caminando al centro hicimos aprox 30 min, un camino muy agradable. Hay servicios cerca y la limpieza excelente. Diana es muy amable y atenta a lo que necesites, sin duda la recomiendo y regresaría en otra ocasión

Nos agradó el lugar, muy seguro y amplio para estacionar el auto 🚘 sin problema de dejarlo estacionado afuera. Cerca de la ciudad de Oaxaca, y del Tule. Muchas gracias Gema
