This beautiful thoughtful estancia is in a perfect location in Oaxaca - close to all the sights but quiet enough away from central. The host prepared a traditional breakfast every morning and was available to help coordinate all the sights we wanted to see. We had our two small Chihuahuas with us and they were warmly welcomed. We will return again!

We chose to stay at Villa Maria based on the outstanding reviews they received from others who had stayed there - we were not disappointed. Paul and Luisa are very kind, attentive to detail and accommodating to our questions and needs regardless of what business they are engaged in during the day. Their attitudes are always helpful which meant so much to us. Their place is beautifully designed and evokes a calm peaceful atmosphere; it's delightfully refreshing.

this was the perfect answer to my bucket list desire of staying in a Palapa on the beach with my third floor bungalow. all the units truly reflect the charm and relaxed atmosphere and unique Style. I commend Kate on a beautiful place and her competent assistance. certainly hope to come back again and again

Loved my time there! So relaxing and pleasant staff and colorful accomodations! I also loved the shower and the bathtub with great water pressure.

Michelle was kind, thoughtful and helpful with all our questions. The property is full of beautiful vegetation that creates a place for the birds and the butterflies. We look forward to a visit in the future

Quedamos extremadamente complacidos. El Sr Agustin siempre estuvo al pendiente de cualquier necesidad que tuvimos; su casa es un expectaculo de arquitectura, la piscina parecia un estanque natural y el cuarto estuvo muy agradable (camas comodas, baño super amplio con agua caliente y aire acondicionado). Los desayunos estuvieron muy bien y mi hija muy feliz porque complacieron todos sus caprichos. El papa del Sr. Agustin como la señora que ayuda en la casa fueron muy atentos y amables con nosotros, pudimos disfrutar de buenas platicas. A la casa llegan servicios de taxi muy facil y de ahi hasta la playa son recorridos muy cortos, ademas de economicos. Si tienes expiritu aventurero, puedes acceder a playas o senderos caminando. Existen algunos restaurantes a 15 minutos a pie donde puedes degustar una buena comida. La casa esta ubicada en un buen sector, a escasos 12 minutos de playas como la entrega.. Recomendamos ampliamente este lugar y seguro volveremos

Excelente lugar para descansar, zona muy tranquila, puedes caminar se noche sin problema,los anfitriones y el coanfitrion son personas muy amables y amigables tienen un café donde la comida es excelente, recomendación al 100 sin duda las garnachas, te recomiendan lugares excelentes para visitar y comer, sin duda toda la estancia fue 10 de 10.

I am very happy with my one night stay wish I could’ve stayed longer, but the staff was so friendly and responsive. The place was so beautiful and peaceful. It was a magical experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Heven. Victor and all the staff are friendly, attentive and so helpful. Reading the story of how Heven was created is so touching and really special making our stay that much more beautiful. I felt at home, I didn’t want to leave. There is great energy here. You can feel the pride Victor has in this home. Breakfast was wonderful each day. The rooms were stunning and each one offered something different and unique. It’s close to town and restaurants and the view is spectacular from this property.

Everyone was very kind and accommodating. It is a beautiful space with nice art and good food. The town is a bit sleepy but very beautiful. It is also located on a hill so bring good shoes for walking or use the taxis, moto taxis, and colectivos to get around. There is a stop right next to the Casa Maria.

Ana María es una excelente anfitriona muy conocedora de toda la zona y con una actitud positiva, amable y dipuesta. Siempre tiene consejos valiosos, tips y recomendaciones. Sus desayunos son muy buenos y abundantes. Tiene muy buena ubicación y queda caminando del centro. Además cuenta con estacionamiento.

This bed and breakfast is welcoming, beautiful and relaxing. Staff is wonderful and breakfast consistently delicious. Staff was helpful answering questions or getting taxi scheduled. Delightful place, highly recommend!

Amy was an amazing host and went above and beyond! We were in Huatulco for a wedding and she made sure breakfast was ready before we left for our events and scheduled taxi’s for us. We never felt as if we were in her way or she was in our way. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Agua Azul sits on a hill with a great view of the ocean. We didn’t explore much close to the area due to the wedding festivities, but we did go next door to a hotel for an amazing lunch that was cheap too. Taxi’s are there within 5-10 mins and are 100 pesos (equals $5 USD). The area is safe, private, clean, and quiet. We’d definitely rebook this place again! We really enjoyed our stay! The location can’t be beat — it’s central to a variety of shops, art galleries, restaurants, markets, the botanical gardens, etc. The hotel staff was very helpful, kind, and responsive!

I had a perfect stay at Jacqueline's place and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oaxaca. Jacqueline is an incredible host: friendly, generous, knowledgeable and always eager to help. The location was perfect for me: situated in a quieter neighborhood a short bus (or bike) ride to Centro, with a market a 3 minute walk away as well as great cafes and restaurants (I recommend Gos Cafe and Barbacoa Obispo). The open-air kitchen and dining area was a delight to cook in, the rooftop area invited sunrise coffee and a sunset mezcal with great views and the bedroom was cozy and clean. I will definitely seek Jacqueline's rental the next time I visit Oaxaca.

Excelente lugar para estar, muy cercano al Hotel Misión, el anfitrión estuvo al pendiente en todo momento, excelente servicio, la cama muy cómoda, buen espacio y lugar silencioso por las noches. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme aquí, gracias.

El alojamiento de Juan Carlos superó nuestras expectativas. Es un lugar agradable y acogedor. Ubicación muy conveniente para visitar la ruta del mezcal, Hierve el Agua, Mitla y más.. Un gran detalle es que se encuentra un restaurante abajo y cocinan delicioso. Juan Carlos y su staff están siempre atentos de asegurarse que pases una feliz estancia. Sin duda, volvería.

Es un lugar muy tranquilo y bonito., un poco complicada la entrada pero la habitación es muy amplia y cuenta con aire acondicionado, tiene balcón y un área de cocina. Stacy siempre estuvo atenta a todo

Excelente lugar, si bien no es un hotel, Roberto te hace sentir como en casa, buena persona, buena platica, excelente comida. El anfitrion siempre esta pendiente de lo que necesites. Te presta sombrillas, hieleras que es muy importante porque ahorras mucho dinero al ir a las playas. El precio es comodo en relacion a lo que brinda el inmueble. Y la ubicacion es perfecta, zona tranquila, muy cerca de la playa, de restaurantes y bares. Precio muy accesible.

We just spent a wonderful week in one of the comfortable suites at Casa Ollin. The amenities are outstanding with breakfast to start your day with enjoyable conversations with the other guests, a pool for cooling off after a day of exploring, daily housekeeping and the nicest host Karla on site to provide assistance as needed. Karla arranged our taxi to the airport and was present for our 530 am pickup to ensure all went well. The Templo de Santo Domingo and Cultural Museum as well as a mercado, grocery store, restaurants & shops are nearby and the zocola is a 15 minute walk away. We also enjoyed our tour to the surrounding villages with Ernesto. We would happily return for another week or two!

Great stay here for 3 days! Location is very convenient and all the staff were friendly and very responsive. It was fun staying right at the cafe too, and the room was clean and very nice!
