Loved our stay here! Booked it for New Year and it was a perfect location for a couple. Amazing views and we were surprised by how much there is to do in the area. Catherine helped out with recommendations and was very helpful.

This is a gorgeous lodge to book. It is perfect for 2 couples to stay overnight with a separate lodge for each. The fire hut is a great place to relax and stay warm. The games room is fun. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating with great communication. The rooms were stunning and clean. There are massage chairs in each lodge which were amazing. The lodges are well equipped, there was an air fryer and coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker. I would highly recommend this place and would love to rebook in the future.

We had the most amazing stay. It was so peaceful, private & relaxing! We had pet deer & a Robin for the week. It was bliss. The bathtub was so relaxing, enough room for 2 adults. We played games, cooked lots of delicious food, went for a walk and bubbled away in the hot tub. One thing that isn’t listed in the amenities was the freezer. It was a nice surprise although we wish we’d have known prior to arriving so that we could have brought different foods along with us. Lovely weekend stay near Ben Nevis, great communication, beautiful views

We had an amazing time at Arranview. The accommodation was perfect and had everything we could possibly need. The cafe on sight was excellent and well priced. The lakes and scenery on sight were beautiful and very nice to walk around. Well worth the money, will definitely be back!

We had a fabulous few days at the cabins. Having stayed in many self catering places all over Scotland this was definitely the most tranquil. The cabins are gorgeous and with only three which are well spread out, very private for a restful break. Clean, cosy and a fabulous bbq house for your own use so if it rains just fire up the bbq! We stayed in two of them so will return to try Pine Marten. Ross is a great host too! Friendly and chatty with lots of local info without being imposing. We won’t hesitate to book again as there’s a few nice things to do in the area. A perfect wee holiday.

Thank you for the most magical, peaceful, and relaxing stay. Never have we been to a place like this before—it’s truly one of a kind. It’s something we both will cherish, creating forever memories that will stay with us always. Alison was such a joy to talk to—her down-to-earth personality made us feel so welcome. The cabin is a lovely location for a peaceful holiday in the countryside. The views are stunning and the walks around the site are very good. The hot tub was a nice feature, and we used it a few times while we were there.

Excellent value and great location for hiking. Gareth was a great host. Would highly recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful 3 nights stay at Alyson’s cabin! She was very communicative and helpful throughout my stay! She even offered to take me to the nearest hotpital after a little accident I had on my hike! Overall a great experience and more! I would definitely recommend 🤩

Argyll Retreat is perfect. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place. This was our 4th stay, 2 wks this time. Me, I could quite happily spend the whole time here, just being in nature & watching the various birds & their eating habits. By the way that is a requirement of staying here, you must ensure the Bird feeders are always filled. The birds will come to tell you if you don't! Everything you need here. Fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, bathroom, double bedroom & store room for bags & cases etc. Lounge area is cosy with 2 2 seater settees, coffee table & TV. Best tho is the view from the window here. Looking out towards the Argyll Forest, the mountains, & wildlife. Nearest pub, The Coylet, 5 mins drive. Great food & staff, useful to book. Nearest town, Dunoon. Main rd there's Co-op & further in, Morrisons. Swallows Cafe - lovely food, can get very busy. Shops close on Monday. Boat Shed cafe, rd to Carrick Castle great food, hence gets busy. Inveraray lovely

Wir haben uns bei typisch schottischem Wetter wunderbar geborgen gefühlt. Sonnenschein läßt sich auf der Terrasse genießen. Die Hunde waren durch die Umzäunung gut gesichert und konnten das Grundstück erkunden.

Had a lovely few nights stay here. We arrived late and the fire was lit for our arrival. The breakfast supplies were helpful. Many walks and cycle paths from the cottage.

The cabin itself is very peaceful, clean with a very comfy bed. There was even a little doggy welcome pack for our wee pup. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone who wants to chill out. The only thing I would say is that the beach access described isn’t accurate, the loch is only a 2-5 minute drive so it’s not far but I thought it was on the door step based on the description but the cabin is so lovely we didn’t mind.

An absolutely fantastic stay. Allison is a great host, who made sure we knew how to get to the lodge and our check in details. The Lodge was gorgeous, beautiful surroundings, clean, modern, friendly neighbours, peaceful and worth every penny. We highly recommend for that opportunity to switch off from the world and spend time with mother nature and relax.

Sally’s place is an absolute haven in a beautiful setting. The chalet is cosy, comfortable, well equipped and beautifully decorated to a very high standard. View of the beach was like looking at a painting and it is very quiet. There are only a few other chalets nearby but it felt very private and peaceful and when we did see people they were very friendly. So much wildlife in Sally’s garden and nearby. Our daughter loved the rabbits and birds. We even saw red deer and lots of pheasants in the garden too. Sally was excellent for providing information and recommendations and she put up some lovely Halloween decorations and left some delicious provisions for us. The local shop is excellent - friendly patrons and well stocked and the food at the Tigh an Truish pub is excellent. So many lovely walks and places to explore and most of the time we didn’t see any other people. Really gorgeous place to stay and location. Amazing sky and we even saw the Milky Way. Loved the beach metres away.

We had a lovely stay here! Caroline was very helpful, we arrived late evening and she had put the heating on for our arrival. There was also milk in the fridge, all the amenities we would need and a lovely welcome basket! There was also a basket for the dogs with dog bowls, biscuits, throws and towels. We will definitely stay again in the future! We absolutely loved it!

Me and my family had such a wonderful stay at Lidies Cabin for the new year! The cabin it's self was beautiful presented, clean and well stocked kitchen! The wood burner was perfect for keeping us warm at this time of year and plenty of added warm blankets, hot water bottles! The children especially enjoyed the hot tub each evening! Lovely community onsite bar with friendly locals. Little quaint village shop 2 minute walk was also a great for us to use rather than driving back down to the nearest village! My wife enjoyed swims in the loch, and for a peaceful holiday will definitely be back! Lovely forest walks nearby! Great 4G as well as an unexpected bonus! Thanks all! 🤩

We were greeted by lovely Ellie. She was super nice. Lovely cabin and very well designed. Perfect location with gorgeous view of Loch and mountains and wild deers ( got to feed them). Ben navis, Glencoe, Fort Williams etc are close. Definitely recommended and will go again next time.

Absolutely fantastic location in the forest with great scenery. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. All cooking essentials were available

just home after a amazing 2 nights. both hosts were great with communication, the Lodge was easy to find with their instructions. the Lodge its self was perfect especially the wrap around porch for dogs. the view is stunning can only imagine how much better it would be on a sunny clear day. so peaceful you can hear all the different birds chipping away. kitchen had everything you would need and more, bedrooms all a great size, plenty of clothes storage and 2 had lovely dressing tables, mattresses pillows and duvets were awesome we all had a great sleep. living room is cosy and comfy. bathroom modern and clean with the bonus of a bath. hot water, heating and WiFi all available 👌. would love to come back in the near future thanks again George & Maria

Loved our stay at Gregor’s cosy cabin. Enjoyed relaxing in the cabin, fishing and plenty woodland walks with our dog. Can highly recommend the Wild Rowan cafe for lunch/coffee and cake as well as the Kilchrenan Inn for a lovely dinner.
