Lovely place to stay for a few days and explore. I would totally return here. I would even rent the Big House above. It’s just a really awesome location.

Un séjour très reposant , d'un calme qui a été très reposant et agréable. L'appartement est très bien équiper a part la machine á café qui ne marchait pas. La piscine très grande avec des bains de soleil suffisant pour tout le monde et eau chauffer ce qui est un plus. La plage a 3min à pied très pratique quand on a des enfants.

Jaroslav’s is an amazing host and makes you fell welcomed. The place is amazing,plenty of light during the day. The house as everything that we need to spend great times and is well decorated. We really enjoy our stay and definitely will return.

John's place exceeded our expectations, offering a cozy, well-equipped retreat that feels more like staying at a friend's home than a rental. The apartment is filled with charming touches, including beautiful paintings and candles. The garden, terrace, and pool area are well-maintained, and we loved the view from both tarraces on the golf fields. John was a fantastic host, always responsive and attentive, making our experience seamless. The nearby beach was a short walk away and super quiet. We also went to the Baleal beach where you can buy some surfing lessons or just rent a board. Our stay was truly memorable, and we highly recommend this place and John as a host.

Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, nicht direkt am Meer aber mehr als 5 min Fußweg bis zur Lagune oder mehr als 10 min zum echten Meer waren es nicht. Gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

After a very warm welcome, we instantly felt like home. Ana left some goodies in the kitches for the first meal on the nice terrasse with a remarkable view! We were 4 adults and two Kids and the flat was very comfortable that everybody had there own space to relax and chill. I can highly recommend to spent a vacation there. Thanks to Ana and Richard.

What a treasure we found at the Banyan Tree (aka charming house on the edge of Obidos Castle)! The house is perfectly situated, very close to the medieval town of Obidos, where we walked to the castle through the narrow cobblestone streets, sipping Ginja 🍒 and enjoying local performers playing incredible music within the perfect acoustics of the castle's walls. The house was well appointed with two bathrooms, a comfortable bed, a full kitchen, and a much needed washing machine after two weeks of travel! Amanda, the host was just lovely and accommodating, had great suggestions and was very responsive. We would love to come back again someday and stay here.

Hemos pasado tres días estupendos en familia, la casa es preciosa, muy cómoda, en un lugar maravilloso, súper tranquilo y cerca de un lago y una una playa mágica, con unos atardeceres q merecen la pena ver. Sin duda repetiremos lugar y alojamiento.

La casa muy acogedora, Helio siempre pendiente de todos los aspectos, muy amable, la zona muy tranquila, muy bonita a 4 min del lago y del mar, todo genial, 100% recomendable. Muy agradecida por la estadía y la amabilidad del anfitrión

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft von Pedro. Auch wenn wir wenig Glück mit dem Wetter hatten und es dementsprechend etwas kalt im Haus war, hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Gerne wieder!

Sandra is a super host, communication was very easy, the check-in and checkout was done very efficiently. We are a group of 6-7 golfers that have stayed within the Praia Del’Rey resort for a number of years and Sandra’s villa one of the best, if not the best, we have stayed-in throughout the years - immaculately clean, spacious rooms with plenty of of bathrooms and nice garden with swimming pool (plus useful pool and garden furniture). Highly recommended - value for money is second to none,

We have had a very enjoyable time here. We have relaxed on the terrace, enjoyed the peace and comfort of your spacious and uncluttered home, explored the village and its surroundings and had many fine walks along the lagoon and by the sea. You do need a car! Shopping at 1 of 2 large supermarkets is super easy and only 10 minutes away. We have had a few excellent meals out and Robert’s book of places to go to and things to do has been invaluable. There is an excellent express bus to Lisbon at almost all times of day (50 minutes) with a large free carpark adjacent. Finally, but definitely not least, is Maria Jose who has been so helpful, friendly and informative. She is truly integral to the house and its comfort. One word of caution - there are many open stairs and steps in this house which may be a challenge to less agile people. Many thanks to our excellent hosts Robert and Saskia!

What a fantastic little find! We spent 6 nights here with our two year old and found the space to be exactly what we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the living areas spacious. The balconies felt safe for our toddler and the hosts provided lots of functional extras like a cot and highchair for him. The pool area was really lovely and we enjoyed a splash, though at this time of year it was very cold. We were also provided with electric heaters which were definitely needed as some of the nights were very cold. Unfortunately we couldn’t always have all of them on at the same time as cooking or using other power as it sometimes would blow the electrics! However we were warned this might happen so could easily fix the issue. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Toll war der direkte Strandzugabg und die Sicht in die Wellen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Luciana war sehr hilfsbereit und super erreichbar. Wir würden es wieder buchen. Einzig das Schloss am grossen Aussentor funktionierte nicht richtig, man kam aber trotzdem rein und raus.

Wir hatten einen einwöchigen Aufenthalt in Nunos Apartment. Nuno ist ein toller Gastgeber, war immer erreichbar und er hat uns viele gute Tips während unseres Aufenthalts gegeben. Das Apartment ist sehr schön, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Trotz des schlechten Wetters hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ottimo monolocale per visitare peniche e dintorni. Siamo stati 6 giorni durante la tappa mondiale di surf ed è stato comodissimo per la posizione che ha. Anche per andare a surfare nella spiaggia accanto fino a baleal

Hemos pasado una fantástica semana en el apartamento. Es un piso cómodo, limpio y muy bien situado con unas vistas estupendas. Cosas a mejorar: una cama de matrimonio mayor.

We loved it here. The place was Perfect for 2 people. The hosts were the best ever. We received a wonderful welcome package. The surf and beaches were just fantastic. Take warm clothes as the wind can really drop the temperatures. We have been to many places but it’s the only place we can’t wait to rebook. Rickard’s was so helpful and is clearly dedicated to giving all the support to your holiday. So very passionate about the place, we can see why. Such a fantastic vibe. I would say if you love surfing this is paradise if you are a new starter then this is perfect. If you have mobility issues this would probably not be the best place for you due to the amount of walking you need to do. The pictures do not give the location justice. Hire bikes and get exploring it’s breathtaking. Some fantastic restaurants all far cheaper than 🇬🇧. Book and enjoy !!!
