My stay at Macrina’s place will always have a special place in my heart. This is a gem in Aninuan where Macrina, and her staff(Justin, Belen and all others) will treat you with kindness, warmth, and familiarity that will make you feel you are family. Her accommodation also hosts guests who are as special as she is. During breakfasts and dinners, I’ve had the pleasure of talking with people with such wisdom and depth. As a young female solo-traveler, this is the safest I have felt. Here you are not just a guest, you are a part of a community. Macrina’s place isn’t one of those trendy, picture-perfect accommodation. No, what she offers is far more superior than that. Her place has heart. She takes care of you along with the help of her husband and staff. If you value personal connections, a comfortable room, and delicious food, stay at Riverside! Ataalaya B&B was absolutely lovely; a relaxing and beautiful home away from home. I loved the combination of Spanish colonial and Philippine native decor, plus the breathtaking view of the lake. Our room was comfortable and there were a number of living spaces where we could lounge around. Hosts, Patty and Mike, were friendly and way too kind. Ate Neng was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The breakfast she prepared was simply unforgettable! I would not mind coming back another time and would certainly recommend this to family and friends.

Mon séjour à cet endroit fut extraordinaire. Les hôtes étaient vraiment chaleureux. J'étais un membre de la famille à leurs yeux. Le petit déjeuner est compris dans le tarif. C'est vraiment apprécié avec des fruits frais. J'y ai mangé tous mes repas du soir à un prix honnête. Je pouvais me reservir à loisir. Délicieux. Ma chambre avait une belle grandeur avec deux belles fenêtres. Le lit est grand, il y a des espaces de rangements et la climatisation est bonne. La salle de bain est minuscule mais propre. La pression de la douche était faible parfois mais l'eau était chaude. Il y a une belle grande pièce commune sur le balcon pour y travailler. C'est la que tous les repas se prennent. La plage est à moins de 5 minutes de marche. En longeant la mer on atteint "White Beach" en 15 minutes. L'endroit est une promenade en bord de mer où se trouvent les centres de plongée, des restaurants et des boutiques de souvenirs. Les guichets automatiques sont au village. Pensez-y à l'arrivée!

Macrina ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin und immer für die Gäste ansprechbar, wenn sie Fragen haben. Sie hat uns auch sehr dabei geholfen, von Porto Galera bis zur Fähre nach San Jose zu kommen. Sie ist großartig!

overall the stay was good , we were 3 families with kids and stayed there for 5 days ,place was big enough to accomadte all of us..host was quite reachable and assisted with pick up and drop from ferry station ..also he guided us to travel agency who arranged our island and inland trips in reasonable price... its nice property sorrunded by woods though a little far from beach...suggestion to have a aircon in living room and a microwave oven in kitchen , rest everything was good, thanks Hans

We had an amazing stay here, and it truly felt like home talaga! Nay Tess made us feel right at ease and the host is friendly. The ambiance is peaceful, perfect for unwinding and relaxing rin. Plus, you’re just a short trip away from some lovely beaches in Calatagan. 🩵

Awesome place, awesome location! I was very pleased with the unit we got! Clean, comfortable and near the best parts Puerto Galera. The staff were all very polite and welcoming. They helped me with my booking even if I planned and booked just the night before our visit. I will definitely be coming back here, and I would highly recommend this to everyone. Great Job!

A wonderful place to have a getaway from the Sabang buzz, still just a short motorbike ride to the main restaurants area. The housekeeper is a lovely woman, very helpful and warm person, who will make your stay comfortable and filling.

The White House Completely as advertised the white house was my home away from home for 12 days over the 2018 christmas season with a carry over into the new year 2019. What impressed me most being a seasoned traveler for the past 6 years to this wonderful archipelago we call the Philippines was the service and hospitality offered as part of over all stay.From ferry pick to daily trips into Sabang .i can not say enough about that and how it was appreciated .Thank you Rolly. The accommodation was truly homey with emphases on makeing one truly feel relaxed .Being so close to the ocean my daily ritual was open space on or near the ocean with the heavy surf tumbling in with cascades of white foam playing around our feet. In summation I want summarize by saying a great big thank you to Rolly (the on-site manager)and to the staff who prepared us each and every morning just a delicious breakfast.we had such a wonderful stay and experience while at the White House.hope to see you all again soon Terry from canada

Vicky and Jonnie have a nice bed and breakfast setup, with a very friendly and attentive staff. They are very connected to local services and options for activities. The food was delicious and hospitality was much appreciated. The pool tables were kept in pristine condition and the competition was ideal. If your a fan of billiards, this is the place for you! I would like to see a dart 🎯 board next time I visit ;)

The place is awesome , room is very clean, host is very nice and accomodating, they entertain their guest very well and treated as family. Breakfast is good, thank you ate and kuya! Kudos to both of you👏

Its my second time at Aubrey’s place and just like the first time they did not disappoint. Beach is 5 mins away so my boyfriend and I had soo much fun . Thank u again Ms Aubrey 😐

Accessible to the beach, restos and Balatero port. Host is very approachable and extends a helping hand to all your needs and requests.

Comfortable stay
